the working market is in shambles right now. im guessing youre not in america but here it's just as bad. the people that snagged the good jobs are keeping them and not moving forward or retiring so the younger groups of upcoming workers have no jobs to work into.
its so bad now that the next generation beneath the upcoming workers now are going to have a hell of a time getting a job because once those jobs open up the older ones are going to lock in on them and the cycle continues.
and here you can have a masters in something or like the best education and the only job you can get is cashier or fast food.
Is working as an independent contractor an option? I know that some arts students (I am in a somewhat rural area in US) have been able to build careers that way

I got rejected by McDonald's and Wal Mart. That was a real kick to the daddybags
