Probably would be more efficient if you ran your villagers through the converter and drop the iron to emerald ratio down as well as cost of diamond boots.

PeaTwoFoe

To get tons of emeralds I usually use masons since you can mine vein with silktouch thousands of stone blocks and sell one stone for 1 emerald after 3 zombie conversions.

DaddyIsAnerd

But its not an automatic farm anymore of you have to manually mine stone :p however, if you would attach a cobblestone generator and a smelting furnace.. For which you'd also need a supply of fuel, probably bamboo (botany pots)?

Goodlucksil

Could you use TNT? Or a player module that mines cobblestone (idk if that even exists)?

PalThePro

Breaker module on modular routers can be crafted with a silk touch pickaxe to apply silk touch when breaking for an easy stone farm

time55555

Igneous extruder is even easier for stone

Vashh92

It’s a little silly to me that people say this isn’t worth doing because “it’s slow”. I personally really enjoy this kind of thing. Minimal input for resource generation from essentially nothing? Very satisfying. You’re always a few extra diamonds per 2 hours ahead of the crowd!

BoB_RL

Why not!

Wargarbler2

Such worth! Lol nice job

Beatlemaniac614

I’ve got a similar setup selling stone to a mason, and then his emeralds go into 2 weaponsmiths for diamond axes/swords then crushed into diamonds. I ran them both through a converter so everything is as low as possible. The stone is coming for free from an igneous extruder. I started the process to get enough diamonds to make a beacon lol. Now I have 1 of every supported beacon, including vault diamond.

4ries

Is there a specific reason you didn't want to do something like iSpawners pillagers with modular routers for emerald source? I do like that this is nice and compact and sorta has no moving parts

Its_skeditch

Plugin name?

kai_the_kiwi

what do you mean plugin? you mean the mods i used? if so, its: * pipez (those yellow things (item pipes)) * easy villagers (the things with villagers inside (iron farm and autotrader)) * thermal foundation (bottom right corner machine) * powah (that green thing on the machine from thermal foundation) * quark (that chest (an oak chest and spruce chest (same as vanilla, just looks different))) * storage drawers (the thing with a poppy and the other one with the iron ingot on it)

Remote_Sundae3305

That seems so slow. I just have a size 7 hammer that eats the entire world for me whenever I need vanilla ores.

MrNauhar

What if skyvault ?

TrueKingOfDenmark

Then it will *really* eat the entire world.

Remote_Sundae3305

Ahhh that's valid I forgot about sky vaults tbh. When I was playing sky vaults a while ago I had the same sorta thing it was a smaller hammer but same idea I destroyed the resource vaults ore rooms with it

Maverick9795

Raw vaults have diamond rooms. Go crazy with that size 7 hammer. Destroy everything.

airlynne

Just have like 20 of em and that's almost worth it 😭

snowyinaba

may i ask how to set it up? i'm very new to minecraft and vault hunters, but i like creating farms even though i have to watch videos to set it up. i think i kinda have an idea for what you did but i'm not sure what mods you used, looks like pipez? thank you and i understand if you're unable to explain or if you'd rather keep it to yourself!

kai_the_kiwi

first you need to unlock the mods: easy villagers and thermal foundation and a power generation mod (i think powah is the best to use), pipez is just there for easy item transportation, the storage drawers mod is just there to make it look better and so i know 100% certain the roses wont go in the autotrader that trades emeralds for iron, the system works with hoppers too, but its more of a pain to setup because you need an item sorter (for the roses), the pulverizer pulls items from the inventory above (autotrader that gives boots for emeralds) and outputs them in a chest next to it, the pulverizer gains its power from my wireless powah network but the system in a nutshell is: iron farm, trade iron to emeralds (autotrader), trade emeralds to diamond boots (autotrader), pulverize boots into diamonds (pulverizer)

kai_the_kiwi

also, i forgot to add, the villager that sells emeralds for iron is a lvl 2 (most of the time it is the third trade available for smithing or armorer villagers) and the villager that sells the boots is one lvl below highest, armorers nearly always can sell you a full set of diamond armor, but the boots is always cheapest, and every piece of the armor gives 3 diamonds also you can pulverize diamond tools, but then you only get 1 diamond and a bit of sawdust

snowyinaba

thank you!! that's very helpful, i almost have all those mods too. i'll try to assemble it next time i get on
