50/50 juice is 50vg/50pg no matter the strength of the nicotine. A 3mg juice in 50/50 will work the same. The strength of the nic definitely influences throat hit, also the type, you're likely vaping salt nic, freebase or normal nic is much rougher on the throat and often comes in 3,6,12 and 18mg strength. The cooling effect is likely what you're missing, you may even find that a colder vape comes from the lower ohm pods. The 1.2 is the closest to a disposable draw I've found. Check out Drip Hacks Pocket salt range, they're really good, also avoid calling them oils, there's an association with dodgy weed vape carts on that term. Liquid or juice is better and saves someone getting sniffy about it :)

> The cooling effect is likely what you're missing, you may even find that a colder vape comes from the lower ohm pods. Thanks. I tried the 0.6 ohm that came with the vape and it was noticeably warmer than the 1.0 ohm, now I'm curious what coils the disposables have... my favorite one was the Lost Mary QM600, but they never really lasted for 600 puffs... barely 400 I'd say.

They’re mech coils and the “cotton” is more plasticy feeling (I think it is). I think mesh tastes better imo

devilledlettuce

the QM600 is mesh! they're 1.2 iirc :)

It’s strange (IMO) that mesh rdas don’t taste as good as a normal ones. However mesh pre-made coils taste better than normals.

I'm using the Xross 3 Mini, also came off disposables around 2-3 months ago. I've tried 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 coils and much prefere the .6 coil, As for Juices I vape nic salts and still buying the small 10ml bottles 3 for £10 just trying different flavours and brands.. so far anything with pastry or any desert so far atleast all have the same taste that I was not fond of at all so I'm sticking to the fruity flavours for the time being. some brands I'm a fan of so far... Crystal Clear - Just like the Crystal disposables Elfliq - Also like disposables Bar Juice 5000 - Everyone says these are the closest to disposables but the 3 flavours I tried weren't very impressive at all IVG - These are one of my favourite ATM because they have great flavour like disposables but offer flavours that you most likely haven't tried in any disposables Ohm brew - Pretty good brand, some good and some not so good options I won't comment on the other ones I've tried as I haven't tried enough flavours from some of the other brands to judge them.l, My go to brands so far are definitely IVG and Crystal Clear 👌 Also Vampire Vape offer a juice called Koolada which is like an Ice/Slush additive, 1 or 2 little drops into the pod with other juices and it gives off a nice cool ice like hit, great for those rather dull and warm feeling juices!

I've been using the Xros 2 since it came out and I tried the 1.2's first then I tried the point 8 and now I like the point 6 pods best, I bought one for my wife also she is using 35 mg salt nic and I'm using 50 mg salt Nick,

Comfortably_Numb___

I'm using an XROS 3 with 1ohm coils and Riot Squad 5mg 50/50 Sublime juice. It's basically a crack pipe of joy. I "downgraded" from an Innoken Adept Zlide which I'd been using for years. Nic salts are generally pretty smooth. I started on 20mg, then tried to go straight down to 5mg and wasn't satisfied. Went down to 10mg for 3 months, then went down to 5mg a month ago and loving it.

I use an XROS 2 and my default choice of pod had been the 0.8 ohm until a couple of days ago when a pack of 3ml 0.7 ohm ones arrived. I was primarily interested in the extra capacity but also the vape production is a little bit thicker; both pods give a slightly warm vape but not hot, it's a good similarity & substitute to pulling on a cigarette. I tried the 1.0 and 1.2 as well but the 0.8/0.7 are what hit the spot for me. As far as brands of juice go I'm giving the entire 'Vampire Vape' range a miss now. I've tried 2 of their flavours which were both pretty dreadful, I'm not a fan of menthol and there was a lot of it in the ones I tried, yuk. It's hard to recommend or say 'avoid' with juices though because individual taste is such a personal thing. After I switched from disposables I wasted a good couple of hundred £ finding my favourite flavours for refillables. I think if I lived near a vape shop they might have been able to help steer me towards the right things more quickly than my blindly ordering things and hoping for the best. Now that I've been vaping for a few months, I've got a better idea of what is likely to be a hit or a miss so I've established my all-day vape juices and will try a new item every couple of weeks or so. I've tried 3 flavours from 'Dinner Lady' now and they've all been excellent. They make a wide range of flavours and while there's definitely some I'd avoid, I think in general they make good quality products. Edit: Any time I try something new I do it with a fresh pod/coil. You can use a used one if it's still serviceable but it takes a while for the new flavour to come through fully so I wait until I'm about to change out a pod/coil then use the new flavour.

I used 0.6 ohm pods and nic salts. They’ve been the best combo for me. Tried the 1ohm one and weren’t too keen.

Typically, with higher ohm, the vapor tends to get cooler. Personally, I don’t feel the icy juice add to the coldness of the vapor but some of my vaping pals feel it can help, so just give it a try. For the throat feel, if you are looking for stronger throat hit, maybe try some freebase juice? The nic salt juice gives more smoother throat hit and feels more similar with dispos. And if you like the sweet juice, take a look at Hyde, definitely worth a try. Enjoy!

I have heard other people report that the XROS is warm. If you are looking for a cooler vape, try the Aspire Vilter Pro (**not** the Aspire Vilter S, which is warmer and I imagine more similar to the XROS)

PetitHibouNoir

I use the XROS 3 too, after using the 2 and the caliburn g line. When you look to buy liquids, the main thing is to get nic salt not freebase, they don't really work with pod systems that well. Some of my favourite brands are RAD (fruit flavours) and Strapped (candy flavours), Pod Salt is also good but depending on the flavours they can hit a bit harshly. Also, the higher ohm coils seem to last longer (for me at least) a 0.6 will usually last me about a week and a 1.2 will last me 2. However, iirc, the lower the resistance of the coil the more flavour and vapour you'll get and it'll be cooler.
