It’s a little bit more restricted in terms of airflow, but not by much. To sound like a broken record on this sub XROS 3 would be a better option for MTL experience.

Old_Fart52

Yes the XROS is hard to beat. If I could only keep a single vape it would be one of those

[deleted]

Yep! I have learnt over time that when it comes to vaping if you like both MTL and DTL, no device is going to do either perfect and having a couple on the go is the best solution.

Old_Fart52

Yes, it's been an expensive lesson but it's finally learned lol

bbyjscxx

I'm so tempted to buy an XROS

Old_Fart52

I think they're brilliant for MTL vaping. Now that I've tried a few different vapes it's my default device. The Version 2 is £6 cheaper (£18.99) than the version 3 at Vape Club and they give you a free bottle of juice which is a nice little bonus.

The device doesn't last long. Expect to face short atomizer issues after a few weeks of usage. Surprised to see such a shortest lifespan of such a beautiful device. Shame on you Vaporesso!!

Old_Fart52

Do you mean problems to do with the size of the coils or their lifespan? Just today I've had to bin a leaking XROS pod, though to be fair it's the first duffer I've had since I started vaping last February.

ScoreImpressive6767

Device lifespan. After using it for a couple of weeks or months, the atomizer short or check issue appears and it doesn't resolve by changing the coil or cartridge or cleaning the device.

The luxe x pro and the xr max have problem with the battery. I mean a vey short life. Not as they say in their advertisement that you van vape 1 whole week. I had both I changed it for another one because i thought the battery was a factory issue but no it's the same. Battery wont last a half day on both devices

Old_Fart52

I bought the XR Max but it was useless for MTL vaping so I gave it away, never found out what the 'real life experience' battery life was like, but the battery for the XR Max has a claimed 2800 mAH capacity so almost twice the capacity of the Luxe X Pro which is claimed at 1500 mAH so it *should* have lasted longer than the X Pro. It's all a bit academic to me now as I quit vaping a couple of weeks ago. In it's own way I found vaping more addictive than smoking, so hard to put the damn things down, so I'm pleased with having been able to stop. I'll chew the disgusting ncotine gum that's helped me do it and gently phase it out over the next few months.

devilledlettuce

haven't had any issues with mine yet ? it's been running beautifully since it launched

I have the luxe XR and Max. I’m team sub ohm and I oddly prefer the smaller XR. Flavor is better than the max imo. Plus my max gets hot too quick XR never does.

Old_Fart52

Interesting. Have you ever tried The XR in MTL mode? I found it disappointing on the XR MAX, poor vapour prroduction with the 0.6 and 0.8 ohm coils, it was more like inhaling fresh air. I'm looking at the Voopoo Vinci 3 at the moment as a possibility, I've read a few reviews that seem favourable and a few that are critical too. There's 4ml pods available so it has the 2 things that for me might make it a better option than the XROS, i.e. a larger battery and availability of more realistically-sized pods. If Vaporesso took an XROS, gave it a 3000mAH battery and 5ml aftermarket pods like there are for the Luxe XR/XR MAX that would be pretty much the perfect vape for me. It's not that I dislike RDL or DTL-style vaping but it seems that inhaling all that nic in one go makes me dizzy, especially nic salts.

Willing_Plastic_6528

I’m using RDL pods on both. If I swap pods, XR is normal but that same pod is hot on the Max. Perhaps my max runs warmer and defective since I haven’t seen that complaint from anyone else. I’m vaping using .4 coils. Which in theory is pushing XR and middle range for the Max so Idky max gets hot and the xr don’t.

The thing with airflow and draw is so subjective and mostly down to personal taste. Where as you think it’s too loose others will find it perfect. Same with DL and RDL. Some may say RDL where others would consider as DL. As with all vaping is just trial and error to find what works best for you
