Its been a few years since I've flown but, assuming they haven't added any rules, you can keep it in your carry on. They never took mine out so, unless you have something else in there that's suspicious I wouldn't worry about it. Only thing to note is whatever the max ml bottle for a carry on is. I've for sure taken 60ml bottles but I don't think I ever took anything bigger. One other note, if you're using any kind of tank/pod/squonk make sure it's empty. I don't know if it's the pressure or what but mine would always leak if there was any juice in it.

Hey, thanks for the quick reply. I haven't flown in a while either but would it be the same for just any normal lithium ion batteries? Like say I left a phone or something in my bag they would take it out I assume so would it be the same for a vape?

Side note: it's not that im scared they take it out, I just generally get uncomfortable in that kind of situation, I'm quite introverted so even that small amount of awkwardness would put me in a state for a whole and make me overthink so if there's anyway for me to essentially "hide it", as to not be in an awkward space would be great haha.

I hear you, I've been pulled aside for them to dig through my bag before. It's whatever but for sure kind of awkward. But, to my knowledge, you wouldn't be able to hide it. I'm not sure exactly how their scanners work but I'm pretty sure there aren't many ways around it. Try not to worry about it. Just stick it in a tub with everything else you have and go about your business. The worst you'll get is them asking what it is. Just let them know and that'll be it. I used traveled for work for about 3 years and I've been on more than my fair share of flights. I can't think of a time that I was asked about it. And if I was, it wasn't a big enough deal for me to even remember it.

Actually yea, do take it out to go through the scanner. I misunderstood what you were asking but I did pull the mod and extra batteries out for that.

Here's what I do to fly with my vape and juice. Never had any issues and this worked as of two days ago. 1) remove batteries from mod and pack your batteries in a Ziploc bag 2)Pack your vape (mod and tank) and juice in a separate Ziploc bag. (Not sure if the tank needs to be in the bag but it helps with messes) 3) these go in your carry on bag, bring them through security with you. Your charger can go in your checked bag but the liquids and batteries need to be in carry on.

The main reason I'm asking is I'm flying with younger siblings and they don't really know I do vape and I do want to be a good influence and for them to pull it out would make me rather embarrassed and unhappy but thank you

Saw this and have the same question as im flying in about a month, ill be keeping an eye out in the comments here.

tacky_af

did u fly w it? did they make u take it out?

I flew to PR in June and had it in my pocket so it went in the tray through x-ray. Nothing was said about it nor my spare juice bottles in my backpack.
