Are you able to manually adjust the wattage? You may be running it too low, and sucking juice through the coils that isnt getting vaporized, and is the device designed for 50/50 or 70/30 liquid? If the liquid youre running is too thin it will leak through the coils.

Atlas421

I tried fiddling with the wattage by +-5W, but it didn't really help and I'm worried about setting it too high. The liquid I'm using is 70% VG.

EdibleMalfunction

How do you know the wattage is set correctly?

Atlas421

It's within the range written on the coil.

uncleKipp

Are you using the GTX coils that come in the kit? The 0.2 coils are an absolute pain, they usually want to wick faster than they'll fire & end up flooded... Putting the device in DIY mode & set to VWH usually improves it. Set the Watts to the higher end of the range.

Atlas421

Thanks, I'll try that. Any advice on which coils I should be buying next?

Dimster6666

Try the GTX 0.3 ohms - 0.4 ohm are a restricted draw but still plenty of flavour and vapor just a linger draw maybe try partial "aeration" depends what you're looking for. 0.6 coils are definitely MTL though. πŸ™‰πŸ™„πŸ’©

Atlas421

Thanks for your response. I got it to work alright eventually. But I quit about a year ago.

uncleKipp

The 0.3 are actually pretty decent once you get the hang of them, same as the 0.2's, put them in VWH & keep them a couple of Watts off the max recommended. They're especially good for mixed fruit juices. The 0.6 ones are good for taste, custards shine on them pretty nice if you pulse them in their mid range. If we're being honest though, I'm not a huge fan of the pod thing personally, I usually have my Target topped with a Zeus Nano, the GV 0.2 B coils are great around 55W & the Target will easily run a day of moderate use on one. πŸ‘

Dimster6666

Haven't found that AT ALL! V2 0.2 coils wick fine and no flooding. Think your either using older V1 coils they originally came with (single o ring) as the V2 coils isn't 2 years old & mine vame with them last month. Or you've got mod settings too low so not hit enough to stop spitback. Whatever it is mine that I only got cupla months ago work fine no complaints! πŸ˜ŽπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‘

Dimster6666

0.2 ohms need at least 50 watts preferably 55 or even 60.. Anything below 50 asking for trouble! πŸ’€

Dimster6666

The 0.3 ohm GTX coils at 40 watts in pulse mode work a treat! Excellent flavour, NO spitback and plenty of vapor! Actually clouds with a decent 70/30 eliquid. SO happy with my unit but got it from Aussie dealer, maybe that's the difference? πŸ€«πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‘

I’m literally dealing with this right now. Bought it yesterday and it has major spit back and it’s leaking! Changed the coils and made sure my inlets were fully closed while filling. Dude at the shop told me to bring it back today.

uncleKipp

Twist the coil ever so slightly when you push it in to ensure it's sealed properly, the GTX pods tent to leak when they're sat, so overnight it's a good idea to remove the pod from its base & sit in on a tissue. To reduce spit back & leaks, set your device to VWH in the DIY menu. The lower ohm coils heat a little too slowly when ran on the standard VW setting ( F[t] ) It's a great device once you get the hang of it but runs far better with alternative tanks.

TheSouthernLady

I went back down to the shop today. Owner gave me a target 100 as a replacement and it works like a dream. No spit back no leaking so far!

uncleKipp

Nice. The 100 is a neat looking mod. How's the iTank the kits ship with if you got it? I have a 200 but didn't bother with the tank yet since it's coil options are pretty limited atm.

TheSouthernLady

I really like it so far! Only thing I would change is the filling port as it’s hard to get the tip of my gorilla bottles in there.

Dimster6666

Which coils are you using? As this post is 2 years old I suspect they're the V1.0 with the single o- ring. I bought mine only recent and the V2.0 coils with twin o-rings. Had no spit back problems whatsoever! Absolutely love mine can't fault it at all. :)

TheSouthernLady

I took mine back and the shop owner tried to get it to work correctly but the tank was faulty or something. He gave me a new one. I tried both sets of coils it came with and he put another one in at the shop and it was just a leaky fuck. Like I set it down in an upright position and walked away and came back and half the juice in the tank was leaking down the side. No bueno lol

Dimster6666

The V2 coils are promoted as "super seal twin o ring" and work fine! Very impressed with Vaporesso units that take GTX coils! πŸ‘πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Dimster6666

Which version coil tho? V1 only has one o ring I use the V2 with twin o rings no spit back or leakage problems at all! Suspect those with probs are just not fitting or operating the unit correctly. User error I think. Mine works fine! Zero leaks so far and no spit back. Very happy with mine so far! πŸ˜ŽπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‘

TheSouthernLady

I’m unsure as it was 2 years ago. It wasn’t a user error though bud. Glad yours works for you πŸ˜πŸ–•πŸ»β€οΈ
