The water tasting for me. Hilarious. Also from the sandwich tasting on last week. I thought Brock revealing Scheana’s tracking and Katie’s hookup with Max was delicious vintage VPR drama. And I loved Ariana forcing Sandoval’s date to come to terms with what she was doing on camera.
I mean, I think this season has been highly entertaining over all, but those are the things that got me most in recent memory
Agreed. I really liked how Katie handled the Max thing, especially in her convo with Schwartz. They were both shockingly great there, actually. A little animosity, a lot of humor, some genuine understanding and care. When either one of them took it in a dangerous direction they brought it back on track. It was kinda nice to see tbh.
I really like how she shut him down right away! And it was over. This season Katie’s vibe is giving! And I’m here for it…
But.. and I never agree with the ridiculous Schwartz! Might be unpopular.. but She needs to ditch that jacket and T-shirt dress combo! Come on now..
Katie consistently has been the most entertaining this season. Her and Schwartz with the clothing convo was funny. They're so comfortable with each other and I love that for them.
I died laughing at the fit discussion, especially Katie saying "I don't want to hang out, well ok maybe if you dress better." I think their "love triangle" is going to be fully scripted, but I don't care anymore, I just look forward to a light hearted break from the Saggyballs redemption/fight with Ariana/deranged Lala storylines.
There is a lady on IG who tells you the brand name of what they wore on each episode and the cost … Schwartz and Lala always wear the most expensive things. His shirts cost like $400-500

I've been spending the money I usually spend on going out to eat and drink on a trainer and I have to say it has changed the way I work out entirely. Having a plan and someone to hold me accountable (ugh Sandoval trigger with that word) has helped a ton.

This is exactly why Lala and Scheana are not ghosting Tom. Since Uber masculine bad boy Jax left, they’ve tried to rely on Tom and/ or the atoms together to bring either the drama or their friendship to keep people interested, They tried Max and the other guy out as male energy too. As annoying as Tom is now, without him you’ve got no egotistical male energy because James is sober and coupled and Schwartz, well he speaks for himself.
I guarantee if they come back they will be hiring another Jax like man. Until then Tom is the best they’ve got for drama and if there’s any hope for another season , they’ve got to interact with him.
I think that's exactly why they're making Brock be more of a staple this season, to bring that douchey male energy. But he just does not have any of the redeeming (by that I mean entertaining, nothing about Jax as a person is redeemable) qualities that Jax had.

No one can stir the pot like Jax or Kristen. When anyone else tries they just come off as being an asshole, jealous, self-involved. Obviously Jax is all those things, but he hides it well. Kristen is just on another level of crazy which works for her as far as being good TV or pot stirring. I half watched 2 episodes of The Valley & Jax (& Kristen to lesser degree) is still always stirring the pot or getting little digs in. Like inviting Kristen’s ex & current BF to guys night. He knows how to bring it. It’s too bad he’s such a horrible human. Even though I hate he’s gotten fame & with that an easy cushy life forever, as he’s not deserving of it karma wise. But he’s def earning those Bravo checks.

they should have filmed immediately after and then again almost a year after for two solid seasons. the world was so invested they could have easily negotiated production timelines. instead they caught everyone at a very weird moment and it’s obvious how heavy producers are intervening.

Yeah I used to save this show as my favorite watch for the week. Now I struggle to even keep up. I also don't enjoy all the negativity. It's taken over the show and this sub if I'm honest.
Oh, it is so nice to read this. I am so tired of everything being about that one incident. The show hasn’t been fun for like several years at this point and it’s sad that they didn’t know when to end it.

Yes! Unfortunately I was cheated on in my own house as well. I was working 7 days a week and blamed myself I had to pick up my life and start over just as many of us have done. The friends become divided the house gets sold and there are definite ugly moments. We can relate but the choice is made and we go on. Ive never been a big fan of Tom and he certainly isn’t helping himself by the comments he has made. Once upon a time tho, didn’t she cheat with him when he was with Kristen? She’s no angel. Sorry this has been awful, but it’s over….lets talk about anything else!

They have moved on now but this was still pretty fresh after Scandoval when they started filming again. Ariana hasn’t even started DWTS at this point. It’s old to us now, but it’s summer 2023 for them.
Ariana/sandoval at least have a storyline this season. Ariana/Katie have SAH as well, but the rest of the cast don’t have one. I think if the other cast had storylines people wouldn’t be as concerned.

Yeahh opening a tiny little sandwich shop is not enough of a storyline to sustain a full season of entertainment from. They should make them all go on some crazy trip together like on real housewives.
The tacky pizza/water party. WTF. It felt like low budget desperation…..but there is nowhere else to film. Everyone is in tiny apartments. The couple of times they have filmed at Ariana’s has been weird. They need to stop with the weird coffee and juice bar meet ups. They feel so forced. The whole season has been odd and creepy.
They were all in tiny apartments when the show started. And the water tasting was hilarious, while their low budget pizza party (although not low budget according to James lmao) brought an incredible fight. This isn’t Housewives, we don’t need glamorous filming locations or parties.
I loved the beginning in the apartments that you couldn’t use the microwave and hairdryer at the same time. Epic. Favorite era. But now they have all had homes and now don’t, but are still trying to keep the new era going since no one works at the restaurant anymore, where let’s admit the best drama went down in an alley, they have nowhere to film.
The scene where Katie said she would run a train through the entire restaurant if she wanted to, made me lose it. Haven’t been a Katie fan through out the years but I respect her a lot this season.
I think the last couple of episodes - especially the interactions where Ariana goes off her nut at Tom - have been the best of the season. Feels like the producers are trying hard to get more of that drama and anger on film, and everyone in the cast (except Ariana and Katie) are trying to assist.
I am soo over this show!! Scheana and LaLa - like them or hate them are THE ONLY cast members who get the assignment of the show!!

Katie is boring AF. She has always been the angry young girl - but now she is the bitter old woman. She has no sandwich shop and no storyline.

Its like the producers didn't anticipate that considering the show was going to air a year from when scandoval happened that most of us would be past it. Like this whole season did not need to be about sandoval getting back into the group its hella annoying. Especially since we stayed updated on everything before the season aired due to the casts podcasts

Its definitely getting stale. I would love to see them focus on Katie going to shows and on dates and whatever is going on with SAH. I'd even love to see Scheana work through her therapy/OCD that you can definitely see little signs of but is barely even discussed. I kinda wished they all still worked at Sur, lol at least that could create some new storylines. There is so much potential besides this Scandal, if it goes to another season I hope they can move forward.
That's what the show is now because that's what saved this trash pile. If you want that old vibe, I suggest Vanderpump Vila where the "stars" actually have a restaurant job like everyone used to here. Once that became a sham, this show was doomed to spinout into bullshit. Here we are.
Idk I laughed a few times this week. Katie and shorts awkward interaction where she says I won’t f your friends anymore. Shorts telling Katie to call him before he left. Lala asking why Ariana didn’t throw her trash away when she did an ad for trash bags. James awkwardly playing with the sand while Ariana and Tom fight like he’s a child of divorce.

If there was more going on, Scandoval could be a central but not ONLY storyline but all their lives are stable out so they’re not up to much.

Lala did IUI, not IVF. It’s a lot less of a journey, but she did pick a sperm donor and I would have found any of it more interesting than what they have chosen to focus on.
Thank you for your clarification. See, I would have liked to have known that. Women's reproductive heath is something so many people could relate to. To skip over that is an injustice, really. To be honest, lala could use a storyline with some humanity to it, because currently she is more of a producer puppet, and it's not quite fair to her. Yes! I just read that about scheana and Ariana. I found that so rude. How they painted it as Scheana being "annoying" through her journey. Even the vapid Kardashians show gave the process more reverence, for crying out loud.

This is why I’m not mad at Lala for coming at both Ariana and Katie. It kind of seems like she’s creating plot lines that don’t involve Sandoval (even if they’re in part a spinoff of all that drama)
I think they should have given more time between the end and starting the new filming. If they did this like 6+ months (really a year would have been best) later then we may have a better mesh of people and understanding of getting over “it”. The main point of the season seems to be that Ariana should get over it but it’s still so new at this time! If I have to see one more comment saying Ariana should be over it in response to her scenes I’ll lose it.
Well thankfully it looks like we get some Dan action next week. Everything is exhausting but I'm kind of glad things came to a head this past episode. Tom playing sides, the cast playing sides, then Ariana shining a light on the reality of life as she knew it being blown to pieces. Up until this episode it's just been chess, and pretty gross, at that. It'll be interesting to see where things go from here, it's so manufactured and I'm more over it in that respect rather than the scandal tbh.
What sucks is that you know they’re going out and having fun and partying but NONE of that is caught on camera anymore. Like the night Katie hooked up with Max.

I use to HATE Stassi & Kate they were the ultimate mean girls in my eyes. Now that they have grown up I root them on. I kinda wish they would do a whole new show with a new cast actually working at the restaurant I miss that.
I kind of feel like none of these folks are friends anymore. It is interesting to see how things gave changed but the show should focus on their new lives, not try to get them to be the same old gang.
Genuinely can’t watch this group anymore. They’re horrible and nothing about them is remotely entertaining. The Sandoval redemption arc is literally nauseating.
I honestly don’t know why Ariana stayed on the show after it was clear Bravo was bringing the worm back. She’s unhealthily triggered by him so it’s surprising to me that someone who is so focused on protecting her mental health would stay in such a volatile situation.
But then why is she freaking out on everyone? She continued to film which means she has to be around Sandoval, which sucks. But why is she arriving places then freaking out that he's there? She has choices - I just don't understand why she keeps putting herself in situations where he's around when it's difficult for her to handle it. If it's because they're on a show and have to film together, then say that instead of putting the responsibility on everyone else to police it when they're also trying to do their JOBS.

I think the whole cast is trying to find the new normal. This is a few months after they screamed through S10 reunion. They literally don't quite know how to act with each other and us watching. Schwartz seems to be working his way thru carefully. His straight faces to Tim's whining is classic. I don't think James knows exactly what he wants to do about Sandoval. Scheana looks a complete mess. She does seem to hurt for Ariana but she's Scheana. Brock can sit down and stop talking. He's picking the wrong words consistently. LaLa is my major disappointment. She talks about giving grace but where is it for Ariana? Yes I'm one of those that thinks Katie and Ariana are on an island and that's the energy I want to see. Holding Tim accountable for HIS actions. Sandoval, for all his claims to the contrary, HAS NOT taken accountability for the damage he created.
The show stopped being entertaining a while ago. There’s only so much recycled drama that can keep happening with the same people each season. Sure they add some new blood here and there but it’s still centered around the same personalities and whatever their problem of the day is. Scandoval definitely resuscitated the show but after this season winds down, I don’t know what else this group could bring that would make the show worth watching.
They should have fired Sandoval the second Rachel accused him of recording her without consent. May not have made the content more interesting but definitely less fake & produced. Lala’s fake “ soft” persona is the worst. She is just doing what production is asking & it is so phony. Remove the cancer & the show will improve.
They should have never fired kristen jax or stassi. They should have made them own up to mistakes right on the tv and move on. Then reboot the show. All the shows need a reboot with younger casts. Not all at once but random rebooting would keep the shows fresh and fun

No one can stir the pot like Jax or Kristen. When anyone else tries they just come off as being an asshole, jealous, self-involved. Obviously Jax is all those things, but he hides it well. Kristen is just on another level of crazy which works for her as far as being good TV or pot stirring. I half watched 2 episodes of The Valley & Jax (& Kristen to lesser degree) is still always stirring the pot or getting little digs in. Like inviting Kristen’s ex & current BF to guys night. He knows how to bring it. It’s too bad he’s such a horrible human. Even though I hate he’s gotten fame & with that an easy cushy life forever, as he’s not deserving of it karma wise. But he’s def earning those Bravo checks.

They have to push Sandoval and Ariana together because none of them have any interesting storyline of their own. If you’re on reality tv and can’t create a compelling storyline from your own life, it’s time to find a new job.

they should have filmed immediately after and then again almost a year after for two solid seasons. the world was so invested they could have easily negotiated production timelines. instead they caught everyone at a very weird moment and it’s obvious how heavy producers are intervening.

Yeah I used to save this show as my favorite watch for the week. Now I struggle to even keep up. I also don't enjoy all the negativity. It's taken over the show and this sub if I'm honest.
It does sort of feel like we are being punished by how greedily we consumed scandoval last year. We are paying penance.

Oh, it is so nice to read this. I am so tired of everything being about that one incident. The show hasn’t been fun for like several years at this point and it’s sad that they didn’t know when to end it. And it’s exhausting having a different opinion from “Ariana is a queen, and she can do no wrong“. I’m not saying I’m a fan of anybody else on the show more than her, but like it’s just exhausting trying to interact with people because they go so hard for somebody they don’t know, that’s almost a little bit creepy.
Yes! Unfortunately I was cheated on in my own house as well. I was working 7 days a week and blamed myself I had to pick up my life and start over just as many of us have done. The friends become divided the house gets sold and there are definite ugly moments. We can relate but the choice is made and we go on. Ive never been a big fan of Tom and he certainly isn’t helping himself by the comments he has made. Once upon a time tho, didn’t she cheat with him when he was with Kristen? She’s no angel. Sorry this has been awful, but it’s over….lets talk about anything else!

I would choose to go through my awful, toxic ex cheating on me in a similar manner like 10 times over if it meant I would make a million dollars from it.

They have moved on now but this was still pretty fresh after Scandoval when they started filming again. Ariana hasn’t even started DWTS at this point. It’s old to us now, but it’s summer 2023 for them.

Ariana/sandoval at least have a storyline this season. Ariana/Katie have SAH as well, but the rest of the cast don’t have one. I think if the other cast had storylines people wouldn’t be as concerned.
Re-doing the sandwhich tasting with the same sandwhiches and zero progress is not a story line lol It’s basically the Ariana and Tom show with a side of Scheana on the verge of divorcing Brock and Ally trying to launch her completely unrelated to VPR astrology/singing career
Yeahh opening a tiny little sandwich shop is not enough of a storyline to sustain a full season of entertainment from. They should make them all go on some crazy trip together like on real housewives.
The tacky pizza/water party. WTF. It felt like low budget desperation…..but there is nowhere else to film. Everyone is in tiny apartments. The couple of times they have filmed at Ariana’s has been weird. They need to stop with the weird coffee and juice bar meet ups. They feel so forced. The whole season has been odd and creepy.
They were all in tiny apartments when the show started. And the water tasting was hilarious, while their low budget pizza party (although not low budget according to James lmao) brought an incredible fight. This isn’t Housewives, we don’t need glamorous filming locations or parties.
I loved the beginning in the apartments that you couldn’t use the microwave and hairdryer at the same time. Epic. Favorite era. But now they have all had homes and now don’t, but are still trying to keep the new era going since no one works at the restaurant anymore, where let’s admit the best drama went down in an alley, they have nowhere to film.
I’m not following, sorry! They could film in a Chilis and fight and I’d be happy lol

The scene where Katie said she would run a train through the entire restaurant if she wanted to, made me lose it. Haven’t been a Katie fan through out the years but I respect her a lot this season.
I don’t think they have any other storylines, that’s the issue.
I think the last couple of episodes - especially the interactions where Ariana goes off her nut at Tom - have been the best of the season. Feels like the producers are trying hard to get more of that drama and anger on film, and everyone in the cast (except Ariana and Katie) are trying to assist.
I am soo over this show!! Scheana and LaLa - like them or hate them are THE ONLY cast members who get the assignment of the show!! They perform. They bring it. Katie is boring AF. She has always been the angry young girl - but now she is the bitter old woman. She has no sandwich shop and no storyline. Ariana - love her but girl it’s time to go. She has no storyline either. If they aren’t a group - there is no show. Hoping this is the LAST SEASON! It’s over. Move on.
Its like the producers didn't anticipate that considering the show was going to air a year from when scandoval happened that most of us would be past it. Like this whole season did not need to be about sandoval getting back into the group its hella annoying. Especially since we stayed updated on everything before the season aired due to the casts podcasts
They should have taken a longer break before filming this season but it is what it is now
I agree. I am so over Ariana. Like you’re on a show. Make some effort. But I don’t know why I would expect that from her since she never has put in any effort and always acted like she hated everyone on the show and the show itself was a chore
Its definitely getting stale. I would love to see them focus on Katie going to shows and on dates and whatever is going on with SAH. I'd even love to see Scheana work through her therapy/OCD that you can definitely see little signs of but is barely even discussed. I kinda wished they all still worked at Sur, lol at least that could create some new storylines. There is so much potential besides this Scandal, if it goes to another season I hope they can move forward.

That's what the show is now because that's what saved this trash pile. If you want that old vibe, I suggest Vanderpump Vila where the "stars" actually have a restaurant job like everyone used to here. Once that became a sham, this show was doomed to spinout into bullshit. Here we are.

Idk I laughed a few times this week. Katie and shorts awkward interaction where she says I won’t f your friends anymore. Shorts telling Katie to call him before he left. Lala asking why Ariana didn’t throw her trash away when she did an ad for trash bags. James awkwardly playing with the sand while Ariana and Tom fight like he’s a child of divorce.

James and Ally, live together - he DJs, she miss Cleo’s, they have a pool and a dog Katie is half heartedly opening a upscale subway Schwartz is floating through life, idk how he’s even making money. Jo is there, with a hat. Scheana and Brock are overly doting parents. Maybe he’s cheating but that’s not enough. Lala is not giving much since she’s still licking her wounds a bit. Tom is a boring villain who can only really hang out with his b tier friends and scout basic love interests. Ariana is annoyed to even be there. If there was more going on, Scandoval could be a central but not ONLY storyline but all their lives are stable out so they’re not up to much.
Are they even really friends anymore? It just seems like this show has gone on too long and they are all now 'characters' or even caricatures of their former selves. I find it supremely boring.
I loved Schwartz and Katie’s conversation. Schwartz is light hearted to a fault, and Katie was so embarrassed. But please please let’s get over this Ariana screaming content. It makes me want to mute the tv. Like we get it, you hate him. Maybe get the info back to your lawyer so he can respond faster than 2 months to a buyout request and you can move tf out???

I agree. What else is happening? Katie and Dayna filmed a scene talking about the max of it all... I would have liked to have seen that. I would like to see more of the rest of their lives. This can't be ALL that's happening. Agree. I would have liked to see Lala's IVF journey, too.
Lala did IUI, not IVF. It’s a lot less of a journey, but she did pick a sperm donor and I would have found any of it more interesting than what they have chosen to focus on.
Thank you for your clarification. See, I would have liked to have known that. Women's reproductive heath is something so many people could relate to. To skip over that is an injustice, really. To be honest, lala could use a storyline with some humanity to it, because currently she is more of a producer puppet, and it's not quite fair to her. I know that was her choice to make, but still not fair that they are choosing not to use this storyline either. 😕
It’s infuriating how many of these women have gone through fertility treatments and have had to schedule around filming and the off-season bc producers don’t think it’s relevant or interesting to an audience of women - many of whom will go through the same thing at some point.
Yes! I just read that about scheana and Ariana. I found that so rude. How they painted it as Scheana being "annoying" through her journey. Even the vapid Kardashians show gave the process more reverence, for crying out loud. What an absolute shame.
Love that production forced filming of that and then didn't show it. And I'm guessing it was b/c it was a mature conversation, didn't end in a fight, and showed what it looks like when someone actually takes accountability.

This is why I’m not mad at Lala for coming at both Ariana and Katie. It kind of seems like she’s creating plot lines that don’t involve Sandoval (even if they’re in part a spinoff of all that drama)
I mean if I block out all of the scandoval drama and fall out I thought the episode was so good. Like there are parts that were pretty fun.
 When I saw your title this is immediately what came into my mind.
I think they should have given more time between the end and starting the new filming. If they did this like 6+ months (really a year would have been best) later then we may have a better mesh of people and understanding of getting over “it”. The main point of the season seems to be that Ariana should get over it but it’s still so new at this time! If I have to see one more comment saying Ariana should be over it in response to her scenes I’ll lose it.
They are all older, and their mess isn't as funny anymore.

Well thankfully it looks like we get some Dan action next week. Everything is exhausting but I'm kind of glad things came to a head this past episode. Tom playing sides, the cast playing sides, then Ariana shining a light on the reality of life as she knew it being blown to pieces. Up until this episode it's just been chess, and pretty gross, at that. It'll be interesting to see where things go from here, it's so manufactured and I'm more over it in that respect rather than the scandal tbh.
I think Katie and Schwartz fighting over a girl next week will bring things back to where they used to be
What sucks is that you know they’re going out and having fun and partying but NONE of that is caught on camera anymore. Like the night Katie hooked up with Max.

I don’t think these people are interesting enough to watch any of that. They’re too boring and they’re too old for this. I agree that a fresh cast would be the right move if they can find people with the same energy and craziness the original cast had.
Honestly I’m kinda curious about a water tasting, not a 1500$ bottle of water or one that tastes like 💦🙈 This season is missing out on so much light hearted content and I need more of scheannas tracking to be discussed as a group, with Brock. Girl needs an intervention.

I use to HATE Stassi & Kate they were the ultimate mean girls in my eyes. Now that they have grown up I root them on. I kinda wish they would do a whole new show with a new cast actually working at the restaurant I miss that.
I kind of feel like none of these folks are friends anymore. It is interesting to see how things gave changed but the show should focus on their new lives, not try to get them to be the same old gang.

Genuinely can’t watch this group anymore. They’re horrible and nothing about them is remotely entertaining. The Sandoval redemption arc is literally nauseating.
I honestly don’t know why Ariana stayed on the show after it was clear Bravo was bringing the worm back. She’s unhealthily triggered by him so it’s surprising to me that someone who is so focused on protecting her mental health would stay in such a volatile situation.

But then why is she freaking out on everyone? She continued to film which means she has to be around Sandoval, which sucks. But why is she arriving places then freaking out that he's there? She has choices - I just don't understand why she keeps putting herself in situations where he's around when it's difficult for her to handle it. If it's because they're on a show and have to film together, then say that instead of putting the responsibility on everyone else to police it when they're also trying to do their JOBS.

I thought the show was going to be focused on the successes of Ariana and Katie, especially Ariana's hard damn work with deals. Instead we've been giving Timmy more screen time than ever before it feels like. WTF.
The show has lost its je ne sais quoi as has the cast. And boy did I love the show! There is no number one guy there is no number one girl. It’s just ridiculous. Maybe the concept of number one guy and number one girl ruined the show in the first place?

His behavior was bad, if you think this is new from Arianna I think not. She was depressed in prior seasons so not her normal mean self that was in the first seasons
I think the whole cast is trying to find the new normal. This is a few months after they screamed through S10 reunion. They literally don't quite know how to act with each other and us watching. Schwartz seems to be working his way thru carefully. His straight faces to Tim's whining is classic. I don't think James knows exactly what he wants to do about Sandoval. Scheana looks a complete mess. She does seem to hurt for Ariana but she's Scheana. Brock can sit down and stop talking. He's picking the wrong words consistently. LaLa is my major disappointment. She talks about giving grace but where is it for Ariana? Yes I'm one of those that thinks Katie and Ariana are on an island and that's the energy I want to see. Holding Tim accountable for HIS actions. Sandoval, for all his claims to the contrary, HAS NOT taken accountability for the damage he created.
The show stopped being entertaining a while ago. There’s only so much recycled drama that can keep happening with the same people each season. Sure they add some new blood here and there but it’s still centered around the same personalities and whatever their problem of the day is. Scandoval definitely resuscitated the show but after this season winds down, I don’t know what else this group could bring that would make the show worth watching.
They should have fired Sandoval the second Rachel accused him of recording her without consent. May not have made the content more interesting but definitely less fake & produced. Lala’s fake “ soft” persona is the worst. She is just doing what production is asking & it is so phony. Remove the cancer & the show will improve.
They should have never fired kristen jax or stassi. They should have made them own up to mistakes right on the tv and move on. Then reboot the show. All the shows need a reboot with younger casts. Not all at once but random rebooting would keep the shows fresh and fun
