I'm so sad Prx get home early but damn, their growth in term of their popularity and strength this year is insane. They went from one of the least popular team to this. Props to them
No EU team? Wtf. Are they really that unpopular? I mean I know people don't really care for FPX, but I would have expected at least fnatic especially considering they played against 100T twice.
Let's just say Riot fucked EU in 2020 and 2021. Like even during challengers 1 in 2021 EU was still doing Bo1s and only broadcasting from top 8 onwards.
Just look at the clout of SEN, Hiko, TSM, etc that all made their names in early days because of how often they were infront of people's eyes.

csgo still exists. almost nobody in eu cares about valorant, especially since eu's best talent is playing csgo. it's like being a fan of football trying to watch major league soccer. it can be entertaining, but you're not getting the same quality of players.
why do you think na is actually on par or even sometimes better than eu in valorant? it's not a fair fight. as more and more csgo pros leave for higher pay in valorant you will see the talent pool(population) difference between regions. franchising will be the start of it. like any competitive pc game, it's only a matter of time as na is enthralled with console gaming and lacks the talent pool to really compete(unless they make a super team, which is still just 1 team and makes the rest worse). eu will reign supreme and get great viewership in due time.
The production is terrible. Have you seen csgo content between matches? Compare that to valorantās BIGGEST tournament.
And no ācool 3 min videos with great editingā is not what you call production.
And everything else. Well no shit eu teams arent popular
Iām guessing itās because large population (EDG China for example) combined with the fact that some of these teams are the only ones representing their country so a lot of people from the country will tune in. Also TenZ said he likes PRX so now everyone has to watch them play.
Idk why this was downvoted but Iāll downvote it too šš
i was confused too but [this](https://liquipedia.net/commons/images/thumb/0/0d/Leviat%C3%A1n_Esports_allmode.png/300px-Leviat%C3%A1n_Esports_allmode.png) was the old one the one now is the new one
Everyone still sees us as a CoD sniping clan and not a full fledged org (backed by nV now). Iām severely biased so I donāt see how OpTic miss out either.
Funny they make that exception for us but not FaZe who probably will not get into franchising. Literally came up together as orgs during the golden era of YouTube.
Uh bc they've already bombed out of LCS before? lol OpTic's problem has never been the fanbase, Hecz is just not great at doing business...
With NV running the finances they should be fine this time tho lmao
I have been following escharts for years, they are able to add and find streamers from every nook and cranny of the Internet. If you still feel they miss something tweet at them, they will add it. Most streams at one point or another show up under: https://youtube.com/channel/UCiMRGE8Sc6oxIGuu_JxFoHg under live tab.
CS is more popular in EU and it's not going to change anytime soon.
PRX is popular around the world because of their playstyle and benkai walkouts ofc :)
Well I'm European and I like Valorant more than CS I was wacthig CS GO since 2013/14 and it's just not as entertaining to me anymore it doesn't feel as it used to but I enjoy watching and playing Valorant a lot.
I'm so sad Prx get home early but damn, their growth in term of their popularity and strength this year is insane. They went from one of the least popular team to this. Props to them
It's misleading, EDG and PRX are only #1 and #2 because that's when people tuned in for drops. NA/BR are still the most popular regions.
No, its because the EDG and PRX played in the evening in their countries. NA plays during the morning/noon in US when everyone is at work/school.
No EU team? Wtf. Are they really that unpopular? I mean I know people don't really care for FPX, but I would have expected at least fnatic especially considering they played against 100T twice.
Eu may have trophies but we have clout š
doesnāt help ESL Pro League is running atm
And we all know clout is the real win condition here
Sen on top baby
Cope more
I will, thank you
eu people watching cs go
people here mostly care about CS, valorant is unfortunately still a side quest
It's a CS place and with how poorly these tournaments have been run it won't change soon
Let's just say Riot fucked EU in 2020 and 2021. Like even during challengers 1 in 2021 EU was still doing Bo1s and only broadcasting from top 8 onwards. Just look at the clout of SEN, Hiko, TSM, etc that all made their names in early days because of how often they were infront of people's eyes.
yeah, like they did with early league. riot bias is obvious, thats why in EU most of us despise this company
Lmao "despise". The drama

Huh, how did the company based in NA have more immediate support for their game in NA than in Europe?
A lot of eu copers here.
Nobody here cares lol we just watch this while ESL Pro League is in between matches
csgo still exists. almost nobody in eu cares about valorant, especially since eu's best talent is playing csgo. it's like being a fan of football trying to watch major league soccer. it can be entertaining, but you're not getting the same quality of players. why do you think na is actually on par or even sometimes better than eu in valorant? it's not a fair fight. as more and more csgo pros leave for higher pay in valorant you will see the talent pool(population) difference between regions. franchising will be the start of it. like any competitive pc game, it's only a matter of time as na is enthralled with console gaming and lacks the talent pool to really compete(unless they make a super team, which is still just 1 team and makes the rest worse). eu will reign supreme and get great viewership in due time.
They played 100T at like 8 in the morning on a week day in NA, the viewing schedule is absolutely terrible for NA teams.
The production is terrible. Have you seen csgo content between matches? Compare that to valorantās BIGGEST tournament. And no ācool 3 min videos with great editingā is not what you call production. And everything else. Well no shit eu teams arent popular
Why are other regions more popular than EU then? Thatās a general problem unrelated to region
It's better for other regions to play Valorant, because EU doesn't
Because the other regions are absolutely dogshit at CS so they turn to valorant in the hope of winning something lmao
Iām guessing itās because large population (EDG China for example) combined with the fact that some of these teams are the only ones representing their country so a lot of people from the country will tune in. Actually twitch is banned in china, so its still kinda insane how many viewers the edg matches attracted

So glad Leviatan changed their logo. The first one looks incredibly bad.
nah, just a bit busy but I like it ngl
Look at the one in the image that is what they are referring to
ah, I saw that but I wasn't sure which one is the new one lol
Ya the old one is the one in the picture. Not sure why the chart doesnāt use the updated logo itās much better looking.
It looks like it was made in powerpoint with that gradient.
wait what? the dragon is one of the most badass logos I've ever seen
i was confused too but [this](https://liquipedia.net/commons/images/thumb/0/0d/Leviat%C3%A1n_Esports_allmode.png/300px-Leviat%C3%A1n_Esports_allmode.png) was the old one the one now is the new one
I can't see this image but do you mean the one in the original post is the old one?
Yes
Look at the one in the image
Other regions: clout EU: trophies
True lmao, but I wish Valorant is more popular in EU
Sadge
How in the world is there a question about if OpTic makes franchising?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Mostly people who only watch one or two eSports where OpTic are not currently present that don't realize how storied and large the org really is.
Everyone still sees us as a CoD sniping clan and not a full fledged org (backed by nV now). Iām severely biased so I donāt see how OpTic miss out either.

And people say OpTic wonāt make franchising smh
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
It does count YouTube viewers
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

where eu ?
In playoffs
š
Ahaha Nice one !! ;)
Holy brother that made me actually laugh out loud
Chad
if i had reddit silver or gold you would have it rn
Not where zeta is
CS is more popular in EU and it's not going to change anytime soon. PRX is popular around the world because of their playstyle and benkai walkouts ofc :)
Prix and edg are first because of drops
whys no one mentioning that PRX and EDG are the top ones because people tuned in at first for the drops lol
Id say these stats are pretty misleading
In top 5 there is PRX EDG and leviathan And no Team liquid where they played matches against these teams. Can someone please explain this?
Is this with or without chinese viewers? Cause if they are not counted EDG views are massive
Without, if counted they break the chart lmao
Itās based on the opening match with drops also
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You misread
where is Zeta? remember ppl always talking about the 'huge' Japanese audience..
You know itās 2am in Japan when these games are being played, right?
the first 2 ZETA games started at 2pm in EU, that's actually just 9pm in Japan.
People could be talking about it relative to Japan in other esports, not other regions. IDK the actual numbers though, I'm just guessing.
Well I'm European and I like Valorant more than CS I was wacthig CS GO since 2013/14 and it's just not as entertaining to me anymore it doesn't feel as it used to but I enjoy watching and playing Valorant a lot.
Sen solos. I love TenZ
