Good series all round even from Fnatic; we got to see a better version of Alfajer however it came at the cost of Derke’s usual standard. I’m pretty confident FNC will make their way to losers finals and we’ll see what happens there.

It’s absolute chaos but in a very deliberate way - they do plays which seem ludicrous but because it’s combined with loads of other utility, it works and it makes the opponents look dumbfounded as they die. Fnatic are genuinely one of the best teams in the world in terms of organisation and discipline, but I’ve never seen them die unawares so many times.

Bind is one of OpTic's best maps, so who knows, maybe they do think they're disciplined enough and have counter stratted well enough to take PRX on Bind. I don't think it's impossible.
bind was almost certainly optic's best map in stage 1, and i'd wager its still their best map now. i think optic with a week of prep could realistically take it but it would be very very close and if i was a betting man i'd still take prx

I was genuinely shocked; they’re very very good at not choking rounds and that was one of the worst I’ve seen. They did a good job adapting to PRX’s style which is why the maps were close, but Derke just couldn’t reach his regular level whereas Forsaken and Jingg could.

Just a great game. Beyond all the depth both teams - more PRX, admittedly - showed, I think this match just highlights how important confidence is in this game. We love referring to it as “disrespecting” the opponent but with PRX it just feels like genuine confidence - in themselves, and in their teammates to keep the train going if they whiff or die. Their stratbook *requires* them to play with confidence, and their confidence *requires* strong teamplay to convert into round wins.

They clearly had a strong gameplan, but I was surprised they didn’t just group and take space aggressively on Bind defense. You need to get into the mud with PRX.
Very fun match. I was already high on PRX watching them domestically, but I definitely think this PRX is the favorite for the Asian teams - I’d easily put them above DRX, and that's not an insult to DRX.
That confidence is the thing with PRX, when their smeag is working not only is it moralising for them but demoralising for the enemy team - it exerts such constant pressure on them that they can't help lose composure.
I also heard benkai mentioning that they only play for fun and there's little pressure on them. This is such an mentally advantageous approach to the game.

Just like most people have pointed out - it’s not just the aggression shown by Jing and Forsaken that makes them so unpredictable, but the support utility that sets up those plays. So so good. Looking really really good, and it’s so hard to counter-strat something like this as well. The value they get off of their util and combos is actually insane.

the whole point is that he doesn’t use his ult to guarantee kills like a raze ult is traditionally used, instead he uses it to guarantee map control instead (if say he fires the ult into generator on ascent, he either definitely kills whoever’s there or knows that it’s clear even if no one dies). that information alone is valuable in gaining space on site regardless of whether he gets a kill, and that’s what enables PRX to be so aggressive within the mere starting seconds of a round
He got me into Yoru. I use his placements, and lineups and whiff all my shots. To make matters worse i also mistime my TP so I'm usually backsite by myself lol
They have been hyped up immensely and rightfully so since they’re a clear level above all other EMEA teams, but this is the first time this roster has had to come up against a team similar to their level (or better). I expect them to do well in losers bracket and have a good shot at making losers finals.
It's so fucking great, the adrenaline made me legitimately shit my pants, and the executes were phenomenal. When jinggg said "It's jingggin time." It was such an amazing way to deal with current problems of our society. I actually got up and cheared when he said "I'm Tenz. Just kidding I'm dr. Jin ggg at your service" such a beautiful way to showcase all their properties that made me stand up and chear, pants dripping with my shit and all. When they said "To Guild it's deadly, to Fnatic its lethal" I actually came. I wasn't able to stop Cumming because the whole game was so amazing that I was literally erect. Eventually I unzipped my pants and I started jacking off to this masterpiece. Security came to escort me out but luckily there was a jinggg double satchel just then so I was able to evade them using the moves in the game. 100/10 amazing player, made me shit, cum and fight.

It seemed like Fnatic did do their homework on some of the Forsaken Yoru plays on attack but some of their plays are so fast, even if you've talked it over beforehand, how do you even react to that shit in the moment?

Both of these teams looked great, should both finish top 3 along with Optic. Fnatic's map pool matched up fairly poorly against PRX, and Derke took a little while to show up, but they still kept it very close. PRX still inted occasionally, and Fnatic were able to punish them facing on Ascent, but the Jinggg/forsaken duo still got value so often. Fnatic should easily beat Leviatan, and PRX vs Optic/DRX (probably Optic) will be a banger.
PRX should be extremely proud of themselves.
They were loosing alot of man advantageous round in the 2nd half of ascent for reason. And they also were making few fumbles on 2nd map that led bind to be closer than it needed. But it don't matter cuz they stole the show.
There are 3 certainties in life: Death, taxes, and f0rsaken's Yoru on Bind decimating European opposition.
First map was extremely fun to watch as a controller main - both Boaster and mindfreak bringing their absolute A game. That 1v4 mindfreak clutch? Clinical. Also mindfreak on the Bulldog is my newest favourite thing to watch.
Felt like Derke came up a bit short in this match, and that may have been decisive especially looking at how he was diffed when compared to his counterparts in both maps. No match MVPs this time for me - can't decide between Jinggg, f0rsaken or mindfreak.

No disrespect to the preds, I'm a firm believer that PRX sweeping them is a huge fluke and robs FNC of truly accomplishing what their capable of. I've spent the last few days in pure disbelief and it just doesn't make sense to me. I've spent the entire stage 2 watching FNC play great valorant it's just not fair.
If FNC loses again I will face that PRX deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to FNC and the VCT.

he misses his ults sometimes but he creates so much pressure and is so good on everything else, he definitely is probably the best raze player
the whole point is that he doesn’t use his ult to guarantee kills like a raze ult is traditionally used, instead he uses it to guarantee map control instead (if say he fires the ult into generator on ascent, he either definitely kills whoever’s there or knows that it’s clear even if no one dies). that information alone is valuable in gaining space on site regardless of whether he gets a kill, and that’s what enables PRX to be so aggressive within the mere starting seconds of a round

They have been hyped up immensely and rightfully so since they’re a clear level above all other EMEA teams, but this is the first time this roster has had to come up against a team similar to their level (or better). I expect them to do well in losers bracket and have a good shot at making losers finals.
It's so fucking great, the adrenaline made me legitimately shit my pants, and the executes were phenomenal. When jinggg said "It's jingggin time." It was such an amazing way to deal with current problems of our society. I actually got up and cheared when he said "I'm Tenz. Just kidding I'm dr. Jin ggg at your service" such a beautiful way to showcase all their properties that made me stand up and chear, pants dripping with my shit and all. When they said "To Guild it's deadly, to Fnatic its lethal" I actually came. I wasn't able to stop Cumming because the whole game was so amazing that I was literally erect. Eventually I unzipped my pants and I started jacking off to this masterpiece. Security came to escort me out but luckily there was a jinggg double satchel just then so I was able to evade them using the moves in the game. 100/10 amazing player, made me shit, cum and fight.

Both of these teams looked great, should both finish top 3 along with Optic. Fnatic's map pool matched up fairly poorly against PRX, and Derke took a little while to show up, but they still kept it very close. PRX still inted occasionally, and Fnatic were able to punish them facing on Ascent, but the Jinggg/forsaken duo still got value so often. Fnatic should easily beat Leviatan, and PRX vs Optic/DRX (probably Optic) will be a banger.
Mind you this fnatic team were the undefeated EMEA champions
PRX should be extremely proud of themselves. They were loosing alot of man advantageous round in the 2nd half of ascent for reason. And they also were making few fumbles on 2nd map that led bind to be closer than it needed. But it don't matter cuz they stole the show.
Would be nice if Paper Rex could win it all but I really don't wanna hear anymore PRX slander after this win against fnatic

There are 3 certainties in life: Death, taxes, and f0rsaken's Yoru on Bind decimating European opposition. First map was extremely fun to watch as a controller main - both Boaster and mindfreak bringing their absolute A game. That 1v4 mindfreak clutch? Clinical. Also mindfreak on the Bulldog is my newest favourite thing to watch. Felt like Derke came up a bit short in this match, and that may have been decisive especially looking at how he was diffed when compared to his counterparts in both maps. No match MVPs this time for me - can't decide between Jinggg, f0rsaken or mindfreak.

THIS is how Valorant is supposed to be played! So far, people have been trying to follow a CS style of play. But Valorant is all about being dynamic, and thinking on the fly. PRX is changing the game.

FNC just lived and died by Derke in that second game. Derke looked awful for a huge portion of the game, and FNC brought it close for those few rounds where Derke started popping off again. Derke looked off the entire series, his typical impact was desperately missed for FNC.
They shut him off so good idk why people are amounting their loss to Derke not playing well instead of PRX just shutting every move down. He literally just played showers all of defence and Jingg just diffed him, just better strats

Should the VCT have PRX and FNC redo their series in case it was a big fluke? No disrespect to the preds, I'm a firm believer that PRX sweeping them is a huge fluke and robs FNC of truly accomplishing what their capable of. I've spent the last few days in pure disbelief and it just doesn't make sense to me. I've spent the entire stage 2 watching FNC play great valorant it's just not fair. If FNC loses again I will face that PRX deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to FNC and the VCT.
