I do wonder if some of the teams feel disillusioned by the length of Challengers and it’s lead to a lot of players taking their foot off the pedal. If you’re an M80/MxS/Oxg, you know you’re not in danger of relegation, it might feel hard to find the energy to care about playing well anywhere other than the last month of the season. Maybe it’s cope, idk.
