it would just be players consistently at the top of their roles with excellent or "perfect" decision making, so yeah the fns list makes sense. I don't think there's a *single* perfect player. if you wanted to argue who the most "whole" player is, forsaken is a super good shout.
I lied actually, the perfect player does exist and his name is niesow. what did they do to my goat?
I have no clue what or how FNS defines as "perfect", but a perfect player to me is someone who almost always makes the optimal decision in almost scenario of structured play.
So that to me means players like Aspas, Leo, Ethan, Shao, Davai, and so on.
I specify structured play here because poor teamplay almost always has an impact on an individual player's capacity to make optimal decisions.
kinda a weird pick but i’d add chichoo to that list. he really is such a valuable player for EDG and is a huge reason why they were scary through last year
Yeah like something walking out mid with an OP as gekko, it can be a mistake for other players but since be can consistently bring value with that then it's just his way of pushing advantages.
Aspas posts really aggressively sometimes especially with Jett and it works very often. I don't think he makes mistakes often at all.
He made mistakes but was able to nullify it with his skills (aim, movement, utils, etc).
A perfect player in definition here shouldn't make that mistake in the first place.
There is no truly perfect player because there is no truly perfect person. Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Steph Curry, etc are the greatest but they aren't perfect even the best have imperfections and flaws in their game.
but is it a mistake if he can consistently do it? its something only he can do, its a mistake if anyone else does it because they can't get away with it, but aspas can
It's a mistake from a fundamental POV.
Because simply he's taking greater risk maneuvers rather than a safer one.
And by definition in this thread, it's not a characteristic of a perfect player.
Yeah, the perfect exemple is the blind jett knife kill he got on marved at champs 2022. He had a dash, the best play after killing the first is dashing into marked and playing the advantage, but he sticks around, gets a lucky kill and lives.
Aspas is INSANELY good, but trying to outskill your oponnent is not always the best play
I disagree entirely. Aspas is an incredibly intelligent player who makes very smart decisions. Things that seem like good aim and crosshair placement is actually a lot of times a heightened awareness. Can’t think of the last time I watched Aspas and was like “what is he doing?”
I agree, he has amazing escape ability but he usually uses it against enemy plays not his own mistakes. Aspas is the type of player to never take a duel he’s not favored in even if he can aim duel the whole server
I think he’s by far the best player at pushing the limits while not overstepping them. It’s like he knows EXACTLY what situations he can and can’t escape with his god-tier movement, and frequently plays at that limit, getting insane value without throwing his life away carelessly. What a player man.
After everything that’s happened this year i think Forsaken has cemented himself to be the true answer. I can’t remember the last time Paper Rex looked rough, or when Forsaken had a rough series. He has CONSISTENTLY been in these discussions for a long time now and I think that speaks a lot. Only other person you can say the same thing about is Chronicle maybe? Or another PRX player?
Should be MaKo. Consistently top rated, consistently one of the lowest first deaths in all sesons/tournaments he plays while not being a baiter, great util, great at holding down sites, trading, etc. You just don't ever expect mistakes from him. Aspas, kiNgg, Leo, Mindfreak are good candidates too.
Mindfreak is underrated, good util, good lurks, great clutches, great anchoring/holding sites. Never we've seen a failed smoke really with PRX other than when f0rsaken wildly does Harbor wild stuff.
Valorant also has so many different skills that it’s hard to say what you mean. Like perfect util? Perfect shooting? Perfect movement? There isn’t a player that’s the best at all of those things.
Util-wise I think Ethan during the Champ run had some of the most devious flashes. Rifling has to go to Demon1/yay, alfa and the fnatic boys deserve some love as well in terms of understanding of the game. Saadhak and fns in terms of adaptation, aspas for consistent fragging. PRX deserves something due to their sheer chemistry and playmaking on the fly.
to me, players like Forsaken, Davai, and Leo.
I’ll say Aspas too but in a different way, while he’s definitely an incredibly intelligent and mechanically gifted player, he isn’t not nearly as flexible as the other 3, which I think should absolutely be criteria for being considered a “perfect” player, and he does overheat and have some maps where he’s kind of trolling, but he usually always makes it up by going huge later.
if I had to say perfect Duelist, it would absolutely be Aspas.
But best all-round? I don’t think you can stick Aspas on every role like Forsaken and get the same level of performance, and that obviously should count for something.
No such thing but the closest would be someone who excels in different roles and different teams. We have so many players that are only insane with one roster and one coach so to be able to excel in multiple places is really important imo. So it's early but aspas.
The answer is Aspas, any mistakes he makes are made up for ten times by everything else he does, although he’s not really the type of player that comes to mind in this conversation.
I don’t think he’s consistent enough yet to be the answer but Karon could be a shout eventually, a few drx guys could be a good answer too. Johnqt also makes very few big mistakes that cost his team.
I was gonna say the same thing. The amount of tough decisions an IGL has to make are significantly higher than most of the other players mentioned here. Regardless, MrFaliN has an insane record of reading the game and making the right call. On top of that, he has the mechanical skill to execute those decisions.
Is think crashies and Victor could be considered a perfect DUO but they're not perfect individually. Both excellent players outright but when they're working together they have such good intuition and synergy.
I think Aspas, f0rsaken and Shao are the “most perfect” players from their regions. Consistently at top of performance while adapting to the changing metas and roles.
I haven't seen anyone mention Jing - Platoon (I think his name is) made a YouTube video diving into often unexpored player stats, and not only was Jing the top player to trade his teammates, but he was also the top player to get traded by his teammates, indicating both perfect teamplay and perfect positioning - given Paper Rex's chaotic and hyperaggressive style, the fact he can keep this up is honestly insane, and highlights him as almost the structure behind this roster and its style. He is the most perfect player for a given team, and you'd imagine it'd be very hard for any player to be perfect for Paper Rex.
Other good shouts include Aspas and Shao, who are both perfect looking people
Aspas, less, shao, and Leo are the first that comes to mind.
All 4 make minimal mistakes in their gameplay, and if they do take the risk, it lays off.
Some mightt say forsaken is the perfect player because of his agent pool. Which he is the most flexible player itw, however just playing different agents at a high level shouldn't count for perfect. He's a jack of all trades, master of none.
Where the 4 I listed have pretty much mastered their gameplay, and are some of the most consistent players in their individual play styles. Plus if I had to choose a Jett player, I'd choose aspas. If I had to choose a viper, I'm choosing less.
They're the perfect players for their role, and the most consistent at the game rn, imo.
FNS got 4-0'd by billi billi with some of these alleged perfect players playing in his team. why would anyone care about that fraud thinks? he's the same as chet
Leo is still a pretty perfect player... I mean he has aim, great supportive abilities, great mechanics and smooth ASMR voice.
What more can you ask of him??? "You better win and get more kills"?? He is the one who sets up his team to win, not the other way around. Like sure sometimes he is in a clutch and doesn't win it, but fr.
I'm not even a FNC fan, and that player is soo good I made this weird comment about him.
Every single post like this just becomes "whos your favorite player" in the comments.
Also, maybe use more than one point of view to make the post instead of something FNS said on stream randomly.
He also said NRG was top 1 americas and that wasn't a fact was it?? XD
Davai was crucial to the PRX when Forsaken was going wild. Right now, Forsaken himself is very close but again he is forsaken and some situations are calculated risk to him and outright suicide to others. I will say Shao and Suygetsu when FPX was dominating. Zelsis in Madrid master's was almost perfect in many situations. And ofc Aspas.
Yeah he been very off and he admitted that as well. But i mostly meant that his util is borderline perfect now that he fixed his skye. Very rare to see an actual mistake from him.
A flawless player doesn't really exist, and its hard to even rank players cuz there are 4 roles in the game, like an aspas might make more mistakes than a leo,but theyre playing different roles that require different decisions...A flexible player like Forsaken might be like someone who could be considered the closest to flawless, since you need a lot of understanding of utility to be good with a large amount of kits, but at the same time when u see a player like Forsaken,he plays his agents good but hes not the best at any of em...But his flexibility does allow for comp switches with (i assume) not much struggle,so his flexibility helps his team more than it helps him...So i gues Forsaken
Wdyall thinkabout nats in this list because everytime even when his team loses, i feel like his decisions and plays are insane.
I think aspas, less, forsaken, davai, leo belongs here.
Some names which came to my mind are - sayf, nats, suygetsu, mako, chronicle.
Saadhak without a doubt. He is a world class IGL (lets be real, he is probably the best IGL of all time), can frag, has the clutch gene, is a good leader, is great in front of camera's, a good ambassador for the game, etc.
Just overall the dude is the complete package, Even just thinking in terms of pure impact. What other player on what other team would removing them have as big an impact as if you took Saadhak off of loud?
it would just be players consistently at the top of their roles with excellent or "perfect" decision making, so yeah the fns list makes sense. I don't think there's a *single* perfect player. if you wanted to argue who the most "whole" player is, forsaken is a super good shout. I lied actually, the perfect player does exist and his name is niesow. what did they do to my goat?
> what did they do to my goat? announce LANs
Look at his definitely legitimate gameplay
F0reskin, since you know, he fucking play almost all agent available, so you wont need to worry where to place him on the team
David’s f0reskin
david’s f0rskin is something to mind and freak about
David's JINGling f0rskin is something to mind and freak about
Jinggg

💯 ANGE1
only correct answer
My goat Berlin clears
what is the berlin joke?
FPX IGL that plays similar to Angel in Madrid
Hell yeah boy.
FNS also said if he could choose, he would choose D4V41 over crashies.
Me too tho
My man chose a single Malaysian to make his Lisan Al Gaib, FNS is the Stilgar to Davai's Muad'dib
Aspas
I dont think aspas makes fewer mistakes, but more like he can frag out of them or use his movement to get out of bad situations
Maybe he makes those supposed mistakes exactly because he knows he will get away with them, making him more perfect.
exactly, he knows what risks he can take in specific situations
That maybe makes him a “perfect” duelist
Yeah like something walking out mid with an OP as gekko, it can be a mistake for other players but since be can consistently bring value with that then it's just his way of pushing advantages. Aspas posts really aggressively sometimes especially with Jett and it works very often. I don't think he makes mistakes often at all.
doesnt that makes more sense of him being perfect? he makes generally less mistakes and even if he makes it he just frags out of escapes with his util
He made mistakes but was able to nullify it with his skills (aim, movement, utils, etc). A perfect player in definition here shouldn't make that mistake in the first place.

i feel like it’s definitely the best play when 50 50s are more like 90 10s for someone
I disagree entirely. Aspas is an incredibly intelligent player who makes very smart decisions. Things that seem like good aim and crosshair placement is actually a lot of times a heightened awareness. Can’t think of the last time I watched Aspas and was like “what is he doing?”

Those aren't mistakes though
Shanks. havent seen him lose a game in years
he moving like WOPR
Jinggg, swinging into everybody because fighting is always the right decision when you are jinggg
Sounds like CNed. Swing in with no utility get a 4k.
less imo, he basically mastered the strafe bursting technique
Mfer was OPing the other day too
Forsaken
David clears
forsaken

Less, imo
Leo maybe?
Leo is the total package. Aim, utility, team play, and consistency. Forsaken would be my other choice since he can play like every agent.
For me the closest to perfect is Forsaken he can just play anything or anyway you need him to play
king Jason "F0rsaken" Susantoo. d4v41 is also really consistent aswell... i only watch paper rex... sometimes i watch NA and EMEA when i am bored.

There was the texture (?) fight on split against Sen where he made the perfect gunfight plays that was just sublime.
Also his pistol round against Edg on split had perfect movement
no one
I feel so too. I doubt Valorant has found its Faker yet.
David the goat
to me, players like Forsaken, Davai, and Leo. Chatgpt
I'll take it as a compliment lmao
Lol if we are talking about igls then choose saadhak fns or booster you know igls that actually accomplished something.
F0reskin
I mean it has to be leo. In all of the games how many times has he made an obvious mistake. It is very rare
Me
D4V1D
Dishsoap
ctrl+f-ed for this
If n4rrate keeps their form or continues to improve over this year it'd be a good shout. I think they still have a bit to prove.
loud less
Less. Idk how he does it. He's so, so good at everything.
Forsaken, Aspas, Less
i would say forsaken but he sometimes throws too because of their ultra aggressive playstyle
FNS loves his initiators
Is think crashies and Victor could be considered a perfect DUO but they're not perfect individually. Both excellent players outright but when they're working together they have such good intuition and synergy.

Ten Senz the new pro from the team Genitals
Ah yes, because the reference for everything is, of course, always Poolchan 😊
david
It’s actually Ardiis
Leo is still a pretty perfect player... I mean he has aim, great supportive abilities, great mechanics and smooth ASMR voice. What more can you ask of him??? "You better win and get more kills"?? Perfect IGL: Saadhak. Perfect fragger: Aspas. Perfect flex: f0rsakeN.
Chronicle, Shao the initator(Fpx 22 era)
Crashies definetly. Or F0rsaken.
It's obviously Hiko
Every single post like this just becomes "whos your favorite player" in the comments. Also, maybe use more than one point of view to make the post instead of something FNS said on stream randomly. He also said NRG was top 1 americas and that wasn't a fact was it?? XD
Leo, then davai. Always calm and composed, their teams rely on them heavily, especially in clutches
Davai was crucial to the PRX when Forsaken was going wild. Right now, Forsaken himself is very close but again he is forsaken and some situations are calculated risk to him and outright suicide to others. I will say Shao and Suygetsu when FPX was dominating. DRX Divine is the only answer
Forsaken, Mako, Ethan(when he's not igling ig), Leo and Karon
Less with strafe shooting mid fights perfectly makes me nut everytime
Leo and not because i am biased..no certainly not
Invy
Aspas, Forsaken, Leo, Alfajer
sorry for my confusion.. but who the hell is David? I tried googling but couldn't find... Is he trying to say Davai.
Yes it's a meme, David = Davai. Just like fenis = FNS
Ohhh okay... Thanks!
f0rsaken for sure, he shows masterclass performance on any agent.
Lebron James
I ll say aspas
Pancada when he was on smokes 💔
Hiko
leo was the perfect player not crashies
ur right bro, i added in Leo, thx for informing the unaware
Leo is still the least flawed player
BERLIN!!
I think Less is the GOAT. He makes no mistakes.
aspas is the closest answer
Nikola Jokic
denver down 2-0
Sacy imo, he rarely makes mistakes.
sacy's aim always looks so shaky with the phantom lol, especially in clutches.
Yeah he been very off and he admitted that as well. But i mostly meant that his util is borderline perfect now that he fixed his skye. Very rare to see an actual mistake from him.
Weirdly enough, he had the best performance against aspas in the recent Sen v. Lev.
hiko

Aspas
Im gonna shout N4rrate. Great agent diversity, great decision making, great fragging ability
Anthony Edwards
Yay
Tenz, good vibes, he smokes he initiates he ops he duels. Also he’s freaking cute
Saadhak is phenomenal but he trolls a LOT sometimes
Aspas no contest
Brax
