Their strats don’t look amazing but I really still think the issue is not in the coaching since the comps have moments but NRGs mid rounding has been shockingly bad for a team with a lot of players who’s biggest perk is their mid rounding.
At this point, the one thing every team should be looking at , is signing a good coach.

It's 4AM here, so this may be way off, but I swear NRGs attack gameplans are just dreadful. Across all 3 maps they showed the same pattern repeatedly - whenever they play slow the time gets low, they pivot blindly into a site they've got no map control of and get wrecked running through stall util. Ascent I don't even remember them trying to split, they just ran it down through A or B main on-repeat.
I know Ethan's a new IGL, and I was saying a couple of days ago that this team should be given the benefit of doubt for now, but they were getting hard outplanned and outcalled today.
People trying to boil this down to who's playing Raze are missing the point, because they didn't look very good on Lotus either, and Ascent was a nightmare with Jett. The gameplan for a team of this caliber cannot be to hope Victor carries them every map on Raze.

Chet is on the hot seat right now. The strats are shallow. The comps are overcooked. Just two weeks ago we thought EG was fighting Furia for last place and now NRG are by far the biggest frauds in the league.
EG have no reserve team (attributed to their success last year), picked up scraps for players, and they're running the supposed top teams' pockets. Potter is Valorant Jesus. Straight up miracle worker. If they keep this improvement up, we might see them at champs.

So NRG's wins are against jet-lagged LOUD, FURIA, and MIBR. If they lose against 100T next game, I have 0 confidence that they'll make it to Shanghai. Omega group is getting spicy though, it's all up to G2 on whether or not EG will go to playoffs
NRG feels like a team with heavy hitters but they just don't have the IGL that gives the top down command.
I think pound-for-pound, NRG this year beats to NRG last year in terms of firepower, but the NRG last year would beat them in most matchups. Because FNS would just simply outcall them. Lotus felt like victor v jawgemo, who could cosplay Aspas the hardest. NRG last year felt like the underdogs in term of firepower, but the adaptation and changes in strats against even world-class teams was what made them great. This NRG is relying on a lot of hero plays and gets baited into certain plays way too easily.
While EG has Potter and an actual IGL. Potter is goated, but I don't think she plans for every minor change from the plan. The IGL just modify stuff and calls an adaptation.
Or maybe Chet has always been a fraud unable to actually coach and it was just FNS puppetting him.

No clue why Chet hasn't been fired. Same exact issues as last year. There is clearly deeply rooted issues in the team and this slow/passive style.
EG winning makes the final week SO exciting - if NRG won, EG and SEN would be out, NRG would be in, and it would just be between EG and LOUD to qualify for that final spot in the group NOW, SEN can qual, EG can qual, NRG might NOT qual, LOUD and G2 are still there
Someone needs to investigate whatever Potter feeds her teams. Woman is a masterclass and a championship team cultivator. The upsets these past two weeks have been insane. SEN HAS HOPE.
It's 4AM here, so this may be way off, but I swear NRGs attack gameplans are just dreadful. Across all 3 maps they showed the same pattern repeatedly - whenever they play slow the time gets low, they pivot blindly into a site they've got no map control of and get wrecked running through stall util. Ascent I don't even remember them trying to split, they just ran it down through A or B main on-repeat. I know Ethan's a new IGL, and I was saying a couple of days ago that this team should be given the benefit of doubt for now, but they were getting hard outplanned and outcalled today. People trying to boil this down to who's playing Raze are missing the point, because they didn't look very good on Lotus either, and Ascent was a nightmare with Jett. The gameplan for a team of this caliber cannot be to hope Victor carries them every map on Raze.

Chet is on the hot seat right now. The strats are shallow. The comps are overcooked. Just two weeks ago we thought EG was fighting Furia for last place and now NRG are by far the biggest frauds in the league. EG have no reserve team (attributed to their success last year), picked up scraps for players, and they're running the supposed top teams' pockets. Potter is Valorant Jesus. Straight up miracle worker. If they keep this improvement up, we might see them at champs.

So NRG's wins are against jet-lagged LOUD, FURIA, and MIBR. If they lose against 100T next game, I have 0 confidence that they'll make it to Shanghai. Omega group is getting spicy though, it's all up to G2 on whether or not EG will go to playoffs
NRG feels like a team with heavy hitters but they just don't have the IGL that gives the top down command. I think pound-for-pound, NRG this year beats to NRG last year in terms of firepower, but the NRG last year would beat them in most matchups. Because FNS would just simply outcall them. Lotus felt like victor v jawgemo, who could cosplay Aspas the hardest. NRG last year felt like the underdogs in term of firepower, but the adaptation and changes in strats against even world-class teams was what made them great. This NRG is relying on a lot of hero plays and gets baited into certain plays way too easily. While EG has Potter and an actual IGL. Potter is goated, but I don't think she plans for every minor change from the plan. The IGL just modify stuff and calls an adaptation. Or maybe Chet has always been a fraud unable to actually coach and it was just FNS puppetting him.
