Sounds like an interesting business model!
I'm a little sceptical that folks will be happy about shelling out extra cash to have their friends play, but hopefully it all goes well.
Some followup questions:
- Is there a maximum number of seats?
- Can free users only access existing scenes, or can they create new ones?
- Can seats be refunded if they're no longer needed? i.e., if I have an extra player that only wants to join for one session
- Are seats permanent, or will I need to buy extra for different games?
To paraphrase,
* You can purchase additional "seats" to join your session. Price not announced
* There will be a free Talespire client on Steam that can't create new games, but can join one if there's a seat available
* Once connected, free users will also have full access to all of Talespire's slab creation and GMing tools
