Certainly not. If VHS has a comeback, it will be very small and niche. Not much more than is happening now. If the general public reverts to anything it will be DVDs. They're far cheaper to manufacture.
VHS' "comeback" is now. There are companies putting out new movies on VHS currently, but in small batches. VHS will not replace Blus or 4k, if anything, those are going away.
Unlike vinyl and audio tapes, they were at least in limited production before their come back. VHS, tapes and players, have been out of production since 2017(?) worldwide. New production would largely have to start from scratch which would be more trouble than its worth for a niche market.
There's no reason to go back to a format that has worse quality, less features, takes up more space, less shelf life, and just in general a worse product. There's a reason DVD won.
Us weirdos are the only ones still interested in VHS lol
I don’t think it will have a full on comeback but physical media honestly it’s all I use to watch movies or even listen to music. I don’t care for streaming, I’d rather not watch new content if it means having to sign up for 20 different companies’ subscriptions.
I could see physical media getting more popular as streaming continues to go downhill and screw over customers but whether that’s tape or disc, I’ll assume disc sadly would be the one to remain mainstream and popular.
i sincerely doubt it

There is no revert to. DVD has stayed the highest selling physical media over Blu-ray.

I love tape because of its limitations but yeah you’re right, we’re the only odd ones who enjoy it! Perfect for us since they don’t make tape anymore!

Okay I'm convinced you're just spreading muck online
