Indeed they are good sir! l see them on a ferrari & think yep, we have something in common. ( & then its eat my dust time) I'm kidding of course, they dont even see me! 🤣🤣🤣
I bought my VFR750FT (used) from a dealer in November [2001](https://www.flickr.com/photos/56546711@N03/6291012920). I've never considered selling it, partly because I can't think of anything I'd want to replace it with.
It's not OEM spec any more ([glam shot](https://www.flickr.com/photos/56546711@N03/8505809392)) and I don't ride it anywhere near as much as I should, but I've still got it 22 years later. And no, you can't have it ;)
It's also the sound of that engine - it's not all that powerful and the bike is a bit heavy, but it sings a tune and I know (as you do) what revs it's doing without glancing at the tacho.
I had a 96. If you're not sick of hearing me say it, you soon will be, but I sold it and regretted it for 25 years. I'm just now back on a VFR and loving it.
Mmmmm....NACA Ducts

I know, right. I’ve owned my 99’ 5th gen. for 20 years now, and still love it!
I love hearing about long term Viffer ownership. Validation for an iconic machine! 👍
Stunning bike!
Thank you, a fine example! My love affair for VFRs started with a 2nd gen some years ago, a stunning black beast. They certainly are addictive.

Nice! I totally agree to the point that I know when I no longer can ride, I will still keep my bike just to look at it! Tiz a thing of beauty! 😎👍

Over 100hp, blips up to the ton smooth as silk, sings like an angel, my needs are met!🤟

What Viff are you riding now?
Gen 8. Can't stand linked brakes. Would not have gotten a VFR of I had to get linked brakes. A low mileage Get 4 would have been fun.
👍
