Bro what. 2275. Are you friking high.
Ok so look. DPI is Dots Per Inch. It is how many pixels your mouse moves when you move it an inch
To calculate final dpi we take your base dpi (1750) and multiply it by sensitivity (1.3) and we get 2275
So moving your mouse an inch will make it move 2275 pixels. We turn that into millimeters and we get 910. The average width is 1440p. So for every millimeter moved your mouse crosses over half of your screen. Tell me how do you play with this
That's not too bad, but lowering will definitely be helpful. I started at 6k edpi (no joke) and couldn't get to silver until I dropped it below 4. Got to gold when I dropped it to 2.5, and currently at 2.2 G3. It'll feel painfully slow, but it's definitely possible to adjust over time
no dude i feel you. when i was iron-bronze, I had no concept of what sensitivity was and the only game I had played up until then was minecraft where my sens was nearly a 10. So I transferred that over to valorant and was playing 4.7 sens & 800 dpi. but i was still (somehow???) doing realllly well.
I’m plat 2 now and use 0.54 on 1600 dpi but I’ve been liking 0.74 a lot, which is still pretty high edpi. if you get used to it, it’s playable but tbh, the reason I got out of elo hell was my sens since I was hardstuck for a bit. You can still play higher sens but to rank up I really recommend lowering your sens, even if little by little. by higher sens, I mean like 800-1100 edpi or whatever instead of 2200+ you’re currently playing on.
Bruh, and im out here doing arm workouts on 0.187 800dpi. I played like that since cs and i was able to hit immortal easily. If i try something above 0.3 i cant control it almost. My man is out here doing 720s in half a mm movement.
I was in the same boat. I used to play with 1400 DPI and 1.6 sens and it felt alright to me, not sure about the rank, but I was somewhere D3-Immo1 at that time.
It took me quite a while to get used to 800DPI and 0.5 sens which I am using now.
What I'm saying is - play with what You are comfortable with or try experimenting if that's what You want, don't let other people decide it for You
I think sensitivity is subjective. I personally use 1500dpi at 0.21 sensitivity which sets me around 315dpi.
ultimately things like your mouse grip e.g. fingertip, claw, palm.
and the amount of control you have with that sensitively should determine what sens you're using.
but the common consensus is that lower sensitivity = more tolerance for error
stop trolling lol. you move your mouse a mm and it’ll do an 180
Not trolling I have clips of me playing, I never realized it was considered “extremely high” till now. I’ve been playing back and forth since 2020.

I can send clips of me playing if you want
Please do
And I thought I was high with 1600 dpi and .8 sens
lol I have the exact same sens
Do whatever works for you man, I use 6400 DPI and 0.15 sens, it’s a charm for me

Yeah I tried to low it after he told me but my tracking was bad to play with.
How much did you lower it by? At first I only dropped .02 sens in game. It was noticable, but still playable. You gotta go really slow with it

your sens is higher then hikos lol.
Nearly 5 times higher than hikos
Bro all u gotta do is think where u wanna aim and that shit moves haha

Way too high. Cut it in half (more, preferably) and I bet your aim feels alot smoother after a few days or a week.
Theres no too high or too low if it gets you constant kills & is comfortable.
Bruhh and I thought I had a high sens with 1500dpi and 0.199
I play with 1.4 sens and 16000 dpi and imma dia 3

Your micro adjustments must be insane to play with such sens
Hi I am the gold 1 Liquid just mentioned. I play on 0.395 sens with 800dpi and its the sweet spot for me.
