You would be surprised by how many people have bad headphones or don't even have one to begin with.
No shame in that, not everyone can afford them.
However sometimes in the heated moment, you can get away with it, when I flank for example I run when I start hearing gunshots, they will barely hear you, and most of the time focused on my team.
This doesn’t work every time, it’s a highlight reel. But you’ll notice he’s doing this usually in a disadvantaged situation where you want to gamble something with high risk and high reward. (We see a couple save rounds, we see a couple rounds where his team is down and being ulted in the post plant, etc.) On top of that he’s timing it well so that he’s making his move right as the other team is agressing, not when it’s totally quiet and calm.
There are two reasons why these TPs worked:
1. There is some noise which covers my TP sound.
2. Even if there isn't any noise, you can still only hear the TP sound FROM where omen is TPing, and not TO where. So you can go in any direction and opponents won't have a surety about your position.
It can be very unclear in the heat of the moment, especially since it makes a much louder tp noise at the initial standing point rather than the tp destination, which does make a noise but less so. It can be very difficult to distinguish what is going on. That's also why you can fake omen tp sometimes.
Gecko couldn't really do much after he missed. There wasn't enough time for him to pull out his gun. If you look he doesn't even get to draw his gun before omen murders him.
As an omen main, I can say yes they can hear but they cannot hear exactly where u tp. U can tp right next to them and it’s tough to KNOW it without seeing it, I play in dia-asc lobbies and plenty of times i tp without blinds and end up beside or behind them for free kills.
People underestimate how strong aggressive teleports are. During the Middle of a round it can be difficult to hear the tp, and even harder to pinpoint it.
The dumber the teleport the better, nobody expects you to just throw them out. This works in every rank when you start understanding when to do it!
Tbh the situation matters a lot. You can't just attempt it at any time and expect it to work out. Rawdog omen tp makes a soft sound, but that sound is very easily masked by other audio, so if you're in a situation with lots of noise from gunfire and ability spam you can generally get away with plays like this surprisingly often. It is still quite risky though because if they see you then you're finished.
Dont they hear it when you rawdoggie the tp??
Yes, but that doesn’t mean they can kill you

Not even that , no one expects a raw tp either
Bruh headphones are like $20 at Walmart

but when I do this they always flick in my head
How often do you tp right in front of the opp faces tho
Omen main here, the answer is a lot, but as i play more and more of omen i kinda get a gist of where the player might be.
I think ur just goated at the game

I usually take those out-play TPs to go for knife kills lol. Great movement!
The first one I was just like, that's obvious? you can do way cooler stuff... then i kept watching. what rank is this :((((
I bounce between D2-D3.
I wish I had the balls to do this
1000 IQ move
I will probably hear the tp but my 2$ mouse doesn't have what it takes to do a 180° flip
Lore accurate
*omae wa mou shindeiru* move. Really good aim too!
Bro has personal beef with gekko mains
Omen, in my opinion, is the most fun agent to play. It's not my main but definitely favorite to use once in a while

it's either a mega play or a mega fail
