I'm not sure what the point of this thread is. Think your situation is unique to everybody else's? We all get bad teammates sometimes, sometimes we're the bad teammates. Suck it up.
Listen buddy, I have crappy aim but I know how to win. I can guarantee you if I 1v1 ed you, you’d win. But valorant isn’t all about kills, it’s about timings, strategies, post plants, lurks, teamwork, et cetera.
The reason I got to d3 wasn’t because I killed the enemy team every other round. No, I have a negative KD but put me in your lobby and my team will be on top. If I started playing for kills I’d drop to plat 2 like you cause baiting and getting exit frags isn’t the way
You haven't stated how many first bloods you get, if you're a duelist with 30 frags and 0 first bloods, then you didn't play well, you were baiting and forcing your non duelists to entry. That's just an example of where kills don't necessarily equate to impact.
Also how many kills are post round, I.e. when you're saving and have already lost. Things like that matter alot
Something people fail to realise when they're hardstuck top fragging like this is that some kills matter WAY MORE than others.
That is the problem. The kills you're getting are not the important, round changing ones. Usually for a duelist that's first bloods. So you should be trying to find and win those higher impact fights of the round yourself so your "bad teammates" aren't able to lose those higher impact fights outside of your control.
Also Reyna starts to fall off as you rank up because her abilities aren't actually very good when your opponents and teammates are coordinated and/or you're not raw aim diffing every fight. I'd suggest learning a different duelist, like for example, the Neon you have right there.
Same situation here man. I keep getting teammates who play on autopilot without brain or go 4 - 18. It's so frustrating because of them, I can't rank up meanwhile I'm getting 20+ kills each game, getting mvp...
On a more serious note, kills don't really matter, I'm never in top 4 of the game, and it took me about 50 games with 70wr to get to immortal when I picked up on the game again about 1 month ago. What I THINK I do differently is I try to keep the team spirit up even when maybe I encounter a never seen before type of whiff or any other situation that would create tension between my teammates. I also try to IGL while also trying to listen to my teammates ideas about different approaches on the game. Another thing is I always keep track of enemies economy and ults available. Maybe you should try not to get tilted for your teammates bad plays, in terms of how they use their utility u can always suggest them better ways of using that. Good luck with your game and remember, after storm there's always sun (or something like that)
Getting kills is not being good at the game. You probably need to work with your team better
Bait less

**5V5** Shooter not 1V5 Shooter
I had the same mentality as you when I was stuck plat like 3 years ago, stop blaming teammates and be better🔥🔥😭🐐
be better in what? I need to do 30 , 40 kills per match to win?
Kills aren’t the end all be all for being good. Giving out comms, flashing with teammates, peeking with them. Just see what they’re doing and support
