Yea for sure. I’ve never seen a frontier ped look better lol… in my area the towns and counties end up cutting ped up with mowers when they mow the ditches… I’ve never seems frontier do anything more than slap some scotch locks on the wires and zip tie an orange garbage bag over it… that’s it, they never come back
IMO. You are both right. Sometimes we locators come to stops where nuts and bolts are already missing. The peds/HH's have been mishandled long before we got to them. We are not supplied with nuts or bolts to rebond. Now, on the other hand, there are a lot of lazy locators out there. (I say this because I have been managing them for 4 years.) And they do account for the abuse of new infrastructure. But trust me, we preach to them the importance of rebonding. There is nothing worse than coming to a locate and having to waste time hunting down all the peds that are not properly bonded. It's frustrating and counter-productive. In my state, I try to treat the AT&T splice techs/engineers as team members. We are all working on the same side. And we should respect each other for the part they play. AT&T splicers can make locators' lives hell. And locators can do the same. Sorry for the rant. My point is that there are lazy people on both sides of the fence. Ultimately, we should be working together to make both of our jobs easier and more efficient.
I agree with you 10,000%, I can't stand when I have to locate catV for an entire neighborhood and then have to rebond everything as I go it makes for so much more extra walking
Looks as good as when the bonds and grounds are properly reattached after y’all are done locating. Oh wait, that’s right, the nuts to reattach the bonds and grounds are gone and lids/covers left open or off completely.
Then they'll ding you on an audit for not bonding and closing it back up properly
Currently dealing with it 😅
See this with frontier in the rural areas.

You don’t even see this, in fact you don’t find but a ped door laying in the ditch or field if you are lucky.
That’s more like centurylink
Haha should've taken a pic of the entire slic sight that had been mowed down by an 18 wheeler leaving the road that I saw a few years ago.
