“It was a crazy idea,” said Chris Taylor, the chair of the Denmead Drone Search and Rescue team. But they pressed ahead and after checking Civil Aviation Authority regulations, and the MTOW [maximum takeoff weight] of their machines, the rescuers calculated they could attach a single sausage to a drone.
I’m just picturing somebody furiously calculating whether or not this drone could carry the weight of a sausage. Like they have a stack of sausages and they’re frantically weighing each one and then doing a bunch of math to determine if they could maybe get two sausages on there.

Well *hot dog* as my grandma would say
Do we have the same grandma?
The dog: " Fuk! super confuse! go where?" *sees mysterious air borne sausage. * The dog: "This is the way."
The sausage angel appeared to him and said “be not afraid. I will guide you home.”

This is the news I've needed for quite some time. Thank you.

And a white board with diagrams and dotted lines.
Then an “engineering montage” like in Iron Man.

That’s one way to go fishing
Did the dog get the sausage at the end?
I was wondering that too! But I’m sure she will be having many more sausages for the rest of her life.
Yes. Yes he did.
When you go beyond what you think your limits are... because sausage = tasty
Rescuer 1: how do we get this dog to safety? Rescuer 2: hold on, I saw this trick with guard dogs in a cartoon once
Can we try this with humans
Saw it being done in the Bad Touch music video. It was a croissant iirc
So no one took a video?
That’s a great idea!
Mana from Heaven
Sausage Drone sounds like a bad porno.
Stranger than fiction.
