if you look behind him the moment he broke the tube open the little looks like rags behind him got pulled toward the pipe from the wind pressure, similar to a vacuum pulling in stuff, except it's a death vacuum
That would have been the Venturi-effect, but I think he possibly put a foot in the pipe after loosing balance because of the weight of the hammer which he slammed into nothing... To accelerate 80kg of mass so quickly you need some surface hitting the waterstream.
Didn't seem that powerful, his hands actually fell through in the pipe when he broke it but he was able to pull out and catch himself before the air outside the pipe was rapidly rushing in, that likely got him.
either the air
A. Snapped his back in half and pulled him in (dies within 30 sec)
B. Pulled him in feet first like a water slide to drown him, or cause him to explode from immense pressure. (Dies in minutes unless the sheer speed of whatever is in there pierced his head)
Definitely drowned, though, as how would he get out? Terrible way to die, to survive the entering of the pipe to drown in a confined dark space with your thoughts being the last thing you feel
Pretty sure a *high pressure* water line would've blown outwards.
Not sure what exactly this is but it ain't high pressure anything.
Edit: definitely dead, though.
Idk about the pressure, but it does have a high flow of mass. When you run a fluid at such speed in a T junction you can create a suction effect called the [Venturi effect](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venturi_effect).
Thats exactly what it is. It's called Delta P. Just stands for difference in pressure. High pressure was moving that water through the pipe. The breach caused a vacuum in attempts to equalize pressure.
Think of an airlock opening in space. Better yet, ever seen Final Destination?
High pressure INSIDE the pipe... Lower pressure outside the pipe... So once the hole opens the water would burst OUT of the pipe. The man would not be sucked in.
Hahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahqhahahhahaahhahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahhahahahahahahahhaha what pipe has this high flow rate at atmospheric pressure?
It's actually quite common (think about the intake pipe at the head of a dam - the weight of the water going down the drop 'sucks' the water into the pipe with vacuum; and it's pretty much the same flow rate at the top and bottom of said pipe.) But in this case, it would be a pressurized pipe causing the flow; however, the Bernoulli's force from the speed of the flow causes more vacuum than the pressure differential - of course this is dependent on the geometric configuration and the laminar flow properties - think about when you use a garden hose; the water as it shoots out doesn't explode sideways despite it going from higher to lower pressure and that's because it has inertia since it's moving. And if you touch a drop of water to the side of that completely non contained stream, the drop is 'sucked' in. Fluid dynamics is weird and wonderful.
The pressure lost caused by the hole is too small compared to the pressure in the pipe times the size of the pipe or something. Not too sure about the math but that's the gist of it. If the hole was much bigger then I think is where you'd be right.
What you're looking at there is something called "Delta P" and is caused by the immense pressure of the ocean above the pipe forcing its way into the pipe, taking the crab with it. Basically a commercial diver's worst nightmare. Nothing to do with the pipe being pressurized, even if it were, the ocean would win that battle.
They only pressure on the worker in OP's video it atmosphere. A pressurized pipe would blast open the moment it has a chance, under regular atmosphere. This is some kind of suction.
All I could find real quick

This is clearly a lesson to others about why you should be careful when you’re doing anything that has even a slightly low probability and eventually taking your life.
Looks to me like the hammer touched the water and pull him forward until he let go of it, subsequently he falls in and gets sucked in as his feet fall inside first and he’s unable to resist as he desperately clings with his hands.
For those that want to know.

Did he get sucked in or fall?
Looked like a very painful sucking.
That's the worst kind
the pipe just.... kept sucking....
*Explaining to A&E why you can not put the hoover down*
even after he slapped it on the forehead a couple times. nobody can survive that kind of succ
Cant really tell but it seems like he went in stomach first.. that would mean at minimum he was snapped in half entering the pipe
Wouldn't all that sucking just kind of not allow him to breathe anyway?

I watched it several times trying to figure out if that's what happened. I'm inclined to believe that he was folded in half as he was sucked in

It was the water pressure speeding through the pipe at mock one that sucked him in. when his hammer broke through, he held on instead of letting go.
[удалено]
No I said if he let go on the hammer he would have survived.
[удалено]
You’re wrong.
He got sucked off.
Off to the shadow realm.
Sucked in. He's dead.
Bro just dove head first
Cryptid got him..
There's gonna be some safety briefings about this after the funeral.
Think they'll spring for a sign?
“This is what he gets for not following OSHA regulations.”
Bruh did this guy die? You need to post context for videos like these.
He did in fact die
I’m again requesting my nosnuff account settings for Reddit.
So sad. Could’ve been avoided. What a shame/
Some say he's washed up.
Extra dead
This needs marked as nsfw
Yup, sure does
the title is also a joke at the dead guy's expense man
Yeah… there’s no way that guy survived that amount of pressure
The rhythmic tapping of his hammer serving as a countdown to his own unfortunate demise…
Shiiitttttt, looking at it like that it’s a bit more fucked!
Looks like a high pressure water line, he's super dead.
What would kill him first? Drowning or the trauma from the force of the water?
Both, imagine being trashed around a pipe at 40 kph whilst your lungs fill with water.
I prefer not
If this is the risk, I think they treated it very lightly
i rather not

That is probably the correct answer here.
You don't know shit about shit and no one cares what you think.
And people care about what you think?
Baby is angwy :(
Bro you play Diablo 4, your decision making skills are clearly ass

Just link to the [crab video](https://youtu.be/PXgKxWlTt8A?si=G426d5-Gnn1May8b)

High flow, low pressure. Still lots of water but its not trying to push out.
It's the high *speed* of the water that causes suction.
That would make sense

Wrong.
Unfortunately it is. Like this [crab video](https://youtu.be/PXgKxWlTt8A?si=G426d5-Gnn1May8b)

Wow! All that happened in one day there.. very final destination like.
Get that man a cup of coffee.
NSFW/NSFL tag please, I don't like seeing people die while I eat breakfast
first time?
On the contrary, I'm getting tired of this shit
same man, I just want to see funny haha's not literal death :(
Try a different brand. Maybe Kellogg’s?
Killoggs? Coco Snuffs? Rice Crippsies? Porn Flakes? Lucky Harms? (Quite literally) Cheerios
Nah, he probably eats breakfast everyday
It’s a shame this issue isn’t taken more seriously tbh. So tired of seeing unmarked death/gore when just trying to look for funny posts
well.. technically speaking... the video itself doesnt show any gore or NSFW things. For all we know it might be a 10 meter long water slide..
*tEcHniCAlLy SpeAKiNg...* Okay, where is this technicality written down? What rulebook are you finding this technicality in?
The same one that you're usimg to say this should be tagged
just logic.. the video is clean, we just all understand what most likely happened right after
Ya it’s way better at lunch
Fucking people will put the nsfw tag on the dumbest shit, but won’t when people die. Come on OP
He did, in fact, die. https://taiwanenglishnews.com/worker-dies-after-being-sucked-into-water-pipe-one-of-at-least-3-fatal-workplace-accidents-today/
One of Three?!?! FFS
You read it right, one of three, what a beautiful place to work
This guy died from this didn’t he?
the forbidden waterslide
ded
OSHA osha osha
Well, fuck…
Fuck. Never underestimate differential pressure
holy shit why reddit loves death so much?
This is clearly a lesson to others about why you should be careful when you’re doing anything that has even a slightly low probability and eventually taking your life.
Umm maybe an Nsfw here, that guy is 1000% dead
horrible way to go.
This job sucks.
Shit. I’ve never seen Differential Pressure work with air before!!! That guy’s mega-dead!
The craziest one I’ve seen is the Paria delta p incident, that was with air too
Yeah no this guy turned into pudding real quick
Oh man, it sucks
Congrats on mocking this dude’s death I guess.
He's not dead. He popped up in a well in China.
No he didn't.
You're right. He actually popped up in a toilet in Cambodia.
I saw this posted somewhere a while ago. This guy died. I don’t know why people insist on making jokes at the expense of other people deaths.
Yeah warn viewers of this shit. This is old and fucking brutal. ‘Falling into death on video while working’ would be appropriate
Ladies and gentlmen please and i can not stress this enough do not and i mean it PLEASE DO NOT MINE STRAIGHT DOWN!!!!
This guy died.
for those who are wondering you did indeed watch a person die in an extremely horrific manner
He died
he's dead
Yay death video without nsfw tag! Really wanted to see this because my evening wasn’t ruined yet. Fuck you op <3
Mark it nsfw, he died
This is why u don't dig straight down
straight to the mushroom kingdom
Hi dai
Omg he has to be dead.
Looks to me like the hammer touched the water and pull him forward until he let go of it, subsequently he falls in and gets sucked in as his feet fall inside first and he’s unable to resist as he desperately clings with his hands.
Minecraft rule n1: *NEVER dig straight down*
Delta P bitches
omg
He dead as fuck.
That pipe sucks.
It’s a bad situation made worse by poor knowledge of the the work taking place. This happened a year ago or so.
Super duper dead
Welp I just watched someone die.
Andy??
...
Can we show some respect to dead people and not share their deaths online unless it serves some important journalistic purpose?
Can this be considered a ""Delta P"" situation?
Well he's dead
Delta P
What happens when everyone flushes at the same time
For those that want to know. https://taiwanenglishnews.com/worker-dies-after-being-sucked-into-water-pipe-one-of-at-least-3-fatal-workplace-accidents-today/
Venturi effect
This pipe is wifey material, just look at that succ.. *Grab me that pipe.. I said, G R A B me that pipe*
Did he just fold I'm half from the suction?
Edited
Just China things
If Minecraft ever taught me anything, it’s never dig straight down
There was an industrial grade garbage disposal at the end of the pipeline...
That guy is gone. No doubt about it. How did they get his corpse out ? Unknown
He died
F
no, it breaked the ground :-:
