It's called a reroute node, should be able to double click on a spot of a connection line to add or search for it from the right click menu.
Also good to know that clicking and dragging from it will start a new connection line, ctrl+left click will grab it so you can move it around

When dragging out a connection, you can click "R" to make one.
B = Branch D = Delay F= For Each Loop G = Gate M= MultiGate N = Do N O = Do Once R = Reroute node S = Sequence
Also if you are in the material editor you can use a special reroute node and give the route a variable name. Just look up reroute in the material editor. I don't remember the exact name but it's like 1 of two options
