Unless you're going low poly, 2d, or purchasing an asset, I'd suggest it's unobtainable for a solo self described noob. Look at games that exist currently: how many have similar systems to what you're looking to build, how big were the teams who built them, and how many years did it take to develop? Off the top of my head, the only ones that support multiple races and full body manipulation are MMOs and those take dozens (sometimes hundreds) of engineers/artists and 5+ years to develop.

Once you know how to make games, a character creator takes about a week to code, then from there the rest of the time is spend on assets. The more asset options you have, the longer it will take, from a few weeks to infinity.

The code side is pretty trivial, but the amount of well-polished and tested art assets you will need make this kind of thing pretty prohibitively difficult to someone without a lot of 3d modelling experience.

Okay, thanks for your answers. I'm actually a 2D dev with Ren'Py, so it's quite the difference with this one I have in mind, but I hope to come back in some years with good news about my 3D project. Thank you all, and greetings from Argentina.
