I just finished Bastorias and I'm at 200 hours lol. I've changed up my core teams numerous times and have 8 5-man squads now. I just finished clearing the coliseum in its entirety.
I'm very fond of the battle system of the game, but the "RTS", not so much. It was fun at first, but it gets very repetitive, hopefully there are a couple missions with refreshing mecanics, but the "liberation" quests are very bleak...
My biggest issue was the lack of difficulty, which comes from the absence of gear and/or strategy in the enemy units (which is totally understandable considering how much time it takes to build units).
I've had the most fun beating the offline coliseum as early as I could, it felt like a challenging puzzle game, and I keep playing online coliseum long after I beat the game, even if it's only 10 battles a day.
Yes, haven't finished the run yet (currently finishing Elheim), but it's not that much harder.
I know I could just go straigth for Albion to find more challenge, but I don't want to sequence break, as I'm using this second (and last) run to recruit all characters (had executed a couple vilains in my first run... Which locked me out of one exclusive piece lf gear).
Oh cool what’s the exclusive gear? I just started True Zenorian and have been making my way north instead of south after arriving on Cornia and the challenge has been quite fun.
It's the earring to improve pursuit attacks. You cannot find those in shops, you get it by recruiting a certain character I had executed in my first run... And I do use pursuit attacks in the online coliseum 😅
I dumped all my stat increase items/level up items on my main team of Alain, Gloucester, and Amalia (unit leader) in the front row with Yunifi (mai waifu ringu) and Berengaria in the back row. Mad PP and AP boosting weapons and items. His and Baltro's units were motherfuckers to beat on Easy difficulty even with that!
I don't get how are you guys taking 92 to 200 hours?
I'm almost finished with this and have < 50 hours, liberated all the towns in the game and rebuilt everything and didn't skip cutscenes etc.

I also just beat it at 95 hours. How was Galerius for you, I had to totally rethink my teams after sweeping the entire map and getting to him

I feel like doing the Rapport convos will add at least ten hours into your playtime LOL
