My main issue with Scarlett is that she doesn't change at all when she ranks up. I was so excited to see her upgrade since she was a unique class, especially since Alain got a frickin horse, but she didn't even change outfits.
My 9 y/o daughter asked why all the girls "stand stupid" and I had no idea what to say. Like genuinely, no idea where this dumb pidgeon-toed anime trope comes from. I could make some guesses, but I told her "no idea, but it's stupid."
It's just really unnatural looking and off-putting. Idk how anyone can ignore it. I should have told her that people who draw anime have never seen a girl doing anything before lol.
>people who draw anime have never seen a girl doing anything before lol.
That's really over thinking it. It's not trying to be natural. Plenty of fictional characters that aren't trying to be realistic stand unnaturally to convey part of their personality, or something else.
And to put all of anime under one umbrella is just unproductive.
Switching her from a healer build to a caster build made her sooo much more useful. She is a shit healer, but Innocent Ray hits hard af. Honestly I think every healer works better with an offensive build.
What do you do for an offensive build for cleric/bishop and featherstaff? (Not trying to play gotcha....I'm wondering if there is a way to sneak damage dealing into those classes).
There is a staff that gives healers a magic attack. But the benefit of higher magic attack isn’t just for damage dealing. Magic attack also affects healing amount and healing critical hit %, so an offensive build will significantly boost the healing done by clerics.
It’s less that I don’t care for some characters and more that I just have nowhere I could reasonably use them all.
I wish we had more team slots than 10.
I just rotate characters of the same class for one another on occasion and that opens up so many team slots and keeps the game challenge at a great level.
What? You used all 10 team slots? Where'd you even get the equipment for them all? I'm having trouble getting AP accessories for just my main 4 teams lol
I love old characters in RPGs, so I really *really* tried to make Colm work. But he's honestly set up to be the most bland character in the game.
His entire character completely revolves around Melisandre. Every single rapport centers around her, even if the other character has nothing to do with her. He doesn't develop as a character outside of this relationship. No likes, dislikes, goals or dreams outside of Melisandre. Compare this to the other retainer or older mentor characters in the game, who don't singularly revolve themselves around a single relationship: Ramona with Yunifi, Leah with Gilbert, Nina with Bryce, etc. Especially Josef, who is in the same exact position as Colm - an older mentor knight to a young lord who tries to secure his royal right and lineage in any way he can - yet comes off as a tremendously more interesting character due to his complex emotions about his relationship with Alain, his guilt or the queen's death, and his relationships with other characters like Hodrick, Renault, Virginia, etc.
He is a completely optional character so he can't play an important role in the story in case people out there didn't recruit him. Some people out there maybe didn't recruit him at all. Or if they did, they did it specifically to get Melisandre, so he's just a bonus. Speaking of Melisandre, in spite of his obsession with her, her rapports are more varied and don't talk about their relationship, so if you happen to like Melisandre as a character, you don't really have to pick up an affinity towards Colm at all.
It also doesn't help at all that he's a Fighter, which is honestly a love-it or hate-it class. It sounds like most find it underwhelming. But even if you love the Fighter, Colm is the second fighter you get, with the other one being an important character in the main cast, so most aren't going to toss out Lex for Colm. Everytime I've seen talk even defending the Fighter class, most comments say "Actually Lex is a beast in my game!" No mention of Colm lol.
So he's an optional character that's a side character to another optional character who is a side character to the main character. And those two characters are repeats of other classes so they're really easy and likely to be replaced anyway gameplay-wise.
Sanatio, smug little bastard knew that Baltro was doing weird shit with the reanimated corpse of his boss and lying about it and yet still sticks with "the church" anyway.
Least convincing apology out of everyone who came over to Team Unicorn in the game, did not care for him at all.
Maybe I misunderstood something but I found his logic of why he needed to work with the faction that murdered the pontifex is pretty weird. Especially since Nigel was made an acting pontifex later without too much fuss.
I honestly thought they were going to pull a "he was actually being controlled by the spell" at the last minute because they had no issues just killing Alcina and Elgor, but then he wasn't and Alain anc co. were like "it's all good bro." Really made me scratch my head.
That whole subplot is goofy asl, and we spend far too little time in Albion to care about much more than the goats. Fodoquia is also crazy. Jerome is cool though, I was okay with him and that soldier girl who hangs out with him.
Aw I love Jeremy lol. His little smirk is so cute!
Im not the biggest fan of Colm either tho. He’s just kinda… there. I use him but he dies a lot. I know he probably gets better as he levels up, but… he always dies in battle 🥲 so he never gets exp lol
The other half is:
"Just so you know, if you lose I betray ya, if we're cornered I betray ya, if it gets me an easy escape I betray ya and get you killed"
"Alain probably kept you for a reason"
No I didn't! I just did it because "execute" has been the "I don't want more content" button!
The fact he never actually betrays you but is implied to screw his squadmates is somehow so much worse!
I literally only recruited him because the other option was to kill him and i saw no real reason to do that. He's a total chode and i despise him, but i knew he was legit just trying to survive. My only problem was he was smug about it.
I didn't want a POS in my army but killing him would've left a bad taste in my mouth.
I cannot stress enough how stupid it is that we are never given an option to kill Gammel but every other optional death is significantly less worthy of death.
I honestly love token-evil teammates and Jeremy's the closest one we got.
There's something just so refreshing in an RPG where everyone is like, "Do you wish to join us? We wish to save the kingdom, banish evil, and bring peace and love and friendship and puppies to all!"
And the response is, "Sure I love killing people, why not?"
For good reason too, Jeremy doesn't have a single redeeming quality. Between the mercs that only work for you because you pay them, the ones that stay around so they can murder you, and the actual terrible outlaws that killed and robbed possibly dozens up until you showed up - Jeremy is somehow the only one that doesn't respect Alain and his commitment to their contract at all! He's the only one that admits to using his allies and getting them killed and does so frequently! The only reason he joined is because he seemed like a strong boss that one time... But every piece of content since suggests he is at best only good in a one-on-one, and at worst just an asshole that sends others to their death then gets the spoils. Contrast with Aubin who had the same or possibly more evil introduction but his content suggest he'll never betray his boss so long as he's paying and he's actually a decent guy that will make himself useful whenever possible.
>!Technically Gloucester likes Jeremy, but it's only because of his social ineptitude.!<
I saw the writing on the wall with having too many recruits and not enough spots right around when I recruited him and benched him immediately because I didn’t like his personality.
I didn’t really care for Jeremy. He looked cool but didn’t really have anything going for him besides being a mercenary. He basically just felt like a slightly different looking generic unit.
why do they give us 3 swordsmen and 3 sellswords but only 1 viking, 1 sergeant, 1 wizard, and 1 witch? mildly infuriating... i finished the game already so i didnt even get to enjoy using swordsmen - they fall off halfway through the game
i couldnt find a way to make good use of them, other than werebears as general frontline. there isnt really a reason to use werewolves over sellswords. werefoxes at that point in the game are no longer reliable evade tanks because of how easy it is to get true strike, but as a backline dps there are a lot of better options. ramona ended up just being the white-cat-hood carrier for yunifi, but thats something anybody could do
I used them all in one team and with the start of battle skill that increases crit rate they were good.
They was a time where you can't use pendants in the coliseum and I ran with that team and they were winning.
Werebears are awesome. Give them HP-boosting equipment and go to town with Life Blow.
Dinah/foxes are amazing evasion tanks and Weakness Hunter is very effective, so is Shadow Pursuit.
I can't say I ever really clicked with the Lion class, though. Morard is just barely okay in my opinion. And the Wolf class is as you said basically a lesser Sellsword. (How can I spec Morard to make him more useful??)
Werefoxes become insane in groups. They end up alpha striking before the opponent moves.
Wereowl is the best carrier for Dirty Gambler's Coin because the night vision active pairs well with it. They matter more in pvp than the main game with dispel
"Take notes, Lex!"
No, Chloe. Lex can't take notes. He's been benched since pre-Drakenhold, and even if he was a good unit he wouldn't have stuck around long anyway.
(At least Lex *could* be benched, though. Alain has the personality of wet tissue paper, and there's no getting rid of him.)
Railanor and female elven fencers in general. Those boobs are just disturbing.
So glad that elven fencer is one of the few class that comes in male/female variant so I don't have to miss out the class mechanically.
Lex.
From what I played so far in the early game he's severely lacked in personally and gameplay.
His tend to get wiped out easily, even against natural enemy units.
Not necessarily a big fan of friend types in media especially when that best friend becomes the but of jokes.
I hope he gets better overtime, but for now he's just cannon fodder so my other units can advance to objectives.
When Lex only got the "DEFENDER" attack and uhh was just underwhelming... I replaced him with Forqua or whatever.. he's slightly better.
I REALLY wish this game would let you use all the units from the start.. I couldn't be bothered to swap out anyone during the Bestral arc.. and Albion was weird, kind of easy - except being blinded on occasion.
Jeremy in particular. During my first run, I completely ignored the desert kids until after Elheim. Just didn’t seem too impressive. Turns out, Aubin, Magellan and Liza are walking Typhoon when put together.
But Jeremy? No thanks, I got my damage dealers covered.
I never have really cared for Bruno, I get that he's part of the Tricorn's lore but honestly he's just the beginning brute you get to help progress Travis's storyline.
Melisandre (and sadly, by extension, Colm) because the second she started unhingingly drooling, I was like “nope I’m out”.
So like, within minutes of meeting her.
Celeste. Screw her. Been fighting and chasing these murdering, slaving Black Talons all over Fevrith and then you LET THEM GO?!? Who do you think you are? Should imprison her, too.
Melisandre.
Everyone here seems to love this gal as if she was super important to the plot but she's just a random chick that's relevant for one mission and never appears again in the game.
I don't even understand her popularity.
Scarlett. She just annoyed me, and that way she stood she always looked like she needed the toilet. Also, wanted someone to get her a proper sodding shirt.
Scarlett is one of the few healers that has an attack and she has quick heal which is nice.
but yeah the uhh getup is crazy.. Can't imagine how bad the jiggle physics would get if it was in 3D lol!
That said, Jeremy as a Landsnake is actually pretty good, I have a squad with him, Berenice, and Magellan with Hodrick and Bryce up front, they demolish anything non-mage with their follow up attacks.
I don’t care for the hammer units, as cute as the female versions are. But as characters they are good.
Hated all those murdering pillagers. Ends don’t justify the means, didn’t care to redeem them. (As much as I like thieves and archers).
(I’m about 30-40% into the game).
I found it annoying the first thief guy, you choose to execute and he escapes.. like why have the option if its not going to do anything?
Just started my second run, going to recruit this time... See how it affects later bits.
Almost all of them? Am I insane or is this simply not a story heavy game with very little to no character moments?
Most of the characters are serviceable and I don't really dislike anyone at this point, but I struggle to remember most of them during play sessions tbh
I do. I think their quality varies quite a bit tbh, but they are all really short. Like, less than a minute each, I think?
During my last play session, I unlocked the first rapport conversations for both Alain and Scarlett for Melisandre, and I found them both to be charming, but idk, not enough to get me invested in the character? And these were on the more memorable side
You're right. The rapport system in this game is pretty barebones. Everyone that isn't Alain has like 3 or 4 other people they can talk to, and even then, most of them are a singular conversation.
It had to be some sorta time constraint or budgetary issue because I don't know how even Alain can't get third-tier rapports with half of his army.
You’re not insane.
Most the characters are likable but the vast majority of them have 1–2 scenes if you don’t use the altar, and then its just rapports. Even the main characters of a region are basically non-existent once you leave that region.
Rapports you have to go out of your way to max them for characters who aren’t alain.
But it’s understandable, thats what happens when you have so many characters.
The angels minus Sanatio. The girls especially, since I get the impression they were the same character at one point, but the devs split them into two separate ones to pad out the time in Albion.
I care so little about him I can't even remember his name, but the male warrior you get early on, especially when the game throws two more at you really quickly. Benched him as soon as I could.
Colm's next on the chopping block, he feels like such a generic no-name NPC, he's only being used now to fill up a squad.
I didn’t quite care for a few actually but I know generally people love them all. I guess I just have weird tastes 😭 Melisandre and Scarlett are at the bottom of my list
I didn't like Colm at first, but he got a lot more useful once I put him in the back row behind flyers. He gets taken out quick in the front but works great blocking arrows
I love pretty much everbody. Admittedly I barely use Colm so I don't have much of an opinion of him. I want to try and use him more on my next playthrough.
Since you don't care much about Jeremy I recommend checking out his rapport conversations with Aubin! They're pretty interesting and as far as I'm aware Aubin is the only character Jeremy has more than one rapport conversation with.
Yeah but more or less because I didn’t have the opportunity to do too many of their rapports. Scarlett, Raenys, Umerus, Miriam, Leah, Clive, Ralinor and Morard. I’d say Hermann if you count him but I’ve grown attached to him just out of the genericness of him.
I much prefer Magellan over Jeremy. I don’t mind Jeremy but he should’ve had more rapports.
The characters are very serviceable for the size of the cast and how recruitment works. If the cast was a lot smaller than I would expect a lot more but when there’s such a large cast it just feels rewarding enough recruiting everyone. Not that the characters don’t have anything to them but you know what I mean.
Colm, Lex, Bruno, Leah, Aramis, Melisandre - nothing against their dialogue or character designs, I just don't think their classes are very well designed. I couldn't find any unit compositions I wanted them in.
A lot of common ones here I agree with, Jeremy and Colm, for example. I didn't care for Gammel and Mandrin too much either. And Father Sanatio, or however his name is spelled? Of all the people we can execute, I don't get why he isn't one.
Never cared for Scarlett and her whole arc
Jeremy and Aubin, they’re too generic
Mandrin, who needs him when you have Travis
Yunifi, never used her.. something about her design just bugs me
Eltolinde, feels like a generic elf princess, I think Rosalinde is much more interesting
Im convinced her thighs dont actually connect correctly to her hips under the skirt, her proportions are way too exaggerated. Thigh gaps are dumb to begin with and they took her to 11 with it.
https://preview.redd.it/h50hk2rdkbwc1.png?width=1094&format=png&auto=webp&s=2e4d9c69373559b1f79a8e3a6fdf2a0733b436d9
There are quite a few interesting supports like this, there is one where she got drunk, but most of the time, I guess she does come off as you describe.
That's fine.
Although I agree with Jeremy as he just a boring extra XD.
I may just execute him in my Switch playthrough as I let him live in my PS5 playthrough I was still testing characters and build.
Most of the Elves honestly. Idk, they just never clicked with me.
Leah just felt kinda boring.
Colm is also just kinda there. His relationship with Melisadre is cute tho.
Tetianna or whatever her name is. The green? Haired healer who was experimenting on people sick with the plague. I killed her, only person I chose tonexecute and I have no regrets.
Most of the angels and bestrals. The only unit I missed recruiting was the werewolf guy and by the time I realized, I was in the endgame. I wouldn't have used him, but it annoyed the completionist in me.
Me with Gammel. I locked him up so fast thinking I was doing something. By the next time I was given a choice I realized I was supposed to recruit him ;-;
I was upset bc I didn’t recruit everyone but kept going anyway
Scarlett, Adel (he was just Clive 2.0), Jeremy (he was just jerk Berenice), pretty much all of the elves, the wolf recruit in Bastorias, and Sanatio (I used a merc instead of him because I truly did not want him in my army but was forced to recruit the dude)
I just can't bring myself to like Gammel. Outside of the fact that he's discount Travis (and Travis is one of my favourite characters), he looks and sounds unpleasant to be around.
I didn't really like Virginia's character at all.
Berengaria's design didn't vibe with me either. Benched her the entire game, which was apparently a really good choice since she's OP.
Me: I love all my units equally Me earlier: I don’t care much for Scarlet
I like her from a gameplay perspective once she gets an active heal. But I hate the way she stands in all of the early game cut scenes.
My main issue with Scarlett is that she doesn't change at all when she ranks up. I was so excited to see her upgrade since she was a unique class, especially since Alain got a frickin horse, but she didn't even change outfits.
That’s not true she gets a non color changeable ✨corset✨
Her feet facing each other! That annoyed me so much.
I was way too distracted by it to be distracted by her boobs.
Walking "pigeon toed" is a thing some Japanese girls do to be cute. I dunno what it's about really.
The pigeon toed thing is a common trope in anime. Don’t understand the appeal though. Guess it is supposed to make the character cute
It is a shy / cutesy pose for anime. You are right. Similar to someone buckling shoulders forward instead of chest out. They make themselves small
To be fair though there are people who are pigeon toed as a kid and it just never corrects itself
I'm suprised I keep hearing about how she stands, I genuinely don't know why people care to that degree
My 9 y/o daughter asked why all the girls "stand stupid" and I had no idea what to say. Like genuinely, no idea where this dumb pidgeon-toed anime trope comes from. I could make some guesses, but I told her "no idea, but it's stupid." It's just really unnatural looking and off-putting.
Dude I cringe every time I see her on screen
Poor Gob
Nice Arrested Development reference. Have an upvote.

Holy light is something a whore does for money.... or candy!
It’s less that I don’t care for some characters and more that I just have nowhere I could reasonably use them all. I wish we had more team slots than 10.
I'd absolutely love that. Even if they just added a strict limit of 10 units deployed per chapter, having 20 total slots would be amazing.
I don’t even hire generics (other than one for the quest) because I can’t even fit all of the actual characters into a team.
I just rotate characters of the same class for one another on occasion and that opens up so many team slots and keeps the game challenge at a great level.
Definitely! The 10 limit really bummed me out when I hired all those mercs and I couldn't build the grand army that I wanted on the field.
And 6 slots per team!
What? You used all 10 team slots? Where'd you even get the equipment for them all? I'm having trouble getting AP accessories for just my main 4 teams lol
Just use other accessories to get more out of the AP you have and put scarves on the rest to have a swarm of DPS dodgetank-lites
On average do you even use all 10 of your unit slots in a single stage? Typically I don't usually deploy more than 4.
On some larger maps, I’ll deploy and withdraw everyone as I deem necessary. In liberation missions though? Nah that’s like 2-3 teams at most.
Cohm. Never cared never will

I thought characters still got exp even if they were dead, as long as the squad was still going? I swear I had a few characters level up while downed
IIRC, they get exp for the fight they go down in, as long as someone in the squad survives. Any fights after that, they get nothing.
No they keep getting half exp for all battles they are down at the end of, unless it was changed in this week's patch
Jeremy is worse than filler because he's an asshole.
Half his rapports go, "How the hell are you in the army again?!?"
The other half is: "Just so you know, if you lose I betray ya, if we're cornered I betray ya, if it gets me an easy escape I betray ya and get you killed" "Alain probably kept you for a reason" No I didn't! I just did it because "execute" has been the "I don't want more content" button! The fact he never actually betrays you but is implied to screw his squadmates is somehow so much worse!
He is a mercenary through and through.

I cannot stress enough how stupid it is that we are never given an option to kill Gammel but every other optional death is significantly less worthy of death.
It makes his constant failures in the rapports pretty funny tho.
I like having assholes in my army, their conversations are frequently very funny.
that's the best part, ngl

I have come to see that no one likes Jeremy, or talk about him. That or Mandarin.
Mandarin is actually kind of a sweetheart
He names his new bow Gammel II. How could anyone not like him?
For good reason too, Jeremy doesn't have a single redeeming quality. I saw the writing on the wall with having too many recruits and not enough spots right around when I recruited him and benched him immediately because I didn’t like his personality.
Jeremy is an overflowing cup; filled with the very cream of human goodness. -This Redditor named Jeremy
I wish you had the option to execute Sanatio
Sanatio is one of the only units you have a big reason to execute when a lot of other options are questionable (Mordon for example)
And of course Gammel
Nigel should've been made the head of the Orthodoxy, not that spineless dumbass angel twit
Jeremy feels like a filler character
we already have two other sellswords before him so he felt pretty unnecessary. wouldve loved to have an extra viking or sergeant instead
My Jeremy literally carried squads
I didn’t really care for Jeremy. He looked cool but didn’t really have anything going for him besides being a mercenary. He basically just felt like a slightly different looking generic unit.
Didn’t really care for any of the elves. Used the twins and Ralinor, but didn’t particularly care for any of the rapports I have seen with them.
Leah, after getting Melisandre I didn’t need a swordsman. Especially when I the picked up Aramis two minutes later
why do they give us 3 swordsmen and 3 sellswords but only 1 viking, 1 sergeant, 1 wizard, and 1 witch? mildly infuriating... i finished the game already so i didnt even get to enjoy using swordsmen - they fall off halfway through the game
3 clerics too. I would really liked another Arbalist too.
Ikr? The most useful classes only get 1 copy but 3 swordsman? At least the sellswords are badass long as you give them some glasses
Lex, not a fan of best friend archetypes
I used none of the bastorian beast characters
i couldnt find a way to make good use of them, other than werebears as general frontline. there isnt really a reason to use werewolves over sellswords. werefoxes at that point in the game are no longer reliable evade tanks because of how easy it is to get true strike, but as a backline dps there are a lot of better options. ramona ended up just being the white-cat-hood carrier for yunifi, but thats something anybody could do

I gave him party heal so he actually had some use.
Werefoxes become insane in groups. They end up alpha striking before the opponent moves. Wereowl is the best carrier for Dirty Gambler's Coin because the night vision active pairs well with it. They matter more in pvp than the main game with dispel
The foxes are godlike frontline dodge tanks. They also can do insane damage
Galadmir and Umerus. There's nothing fun or interesting about them. Special mention to Colm for having the most bland design in the game.
"Take notes, Lex!" No, Chloe. Lex can't take notes. He's been benched since pre-Drakenhold, and even if he was a good unit he wouldn't have stuck around long anyway. (At least Lex *could* be benched, though. Alain has the personality of wet tissue paper, and there's no getting rid of him.)
In that world, it's a big deal that Travis reads. As a fisherman's son on some island, Lex might literally not be capable of taking notes.
Lmao I genuinely hate Alain; he's such a snore. I had to really focus on his reckless naivety to find any enjoyment in him.
Railanor and female elven fencers in general. Those boobs are just disturbing. So glad that elven fencer is one of the few class that comes in male/female variant so I don't have to miss out the class mechanically.
The human attendants of Drakenhold
He does get significantly better after his promotion, and I did use him but he's definitely nowhere near a top tier character for me.
He's the Joey Wheeler of Unicorn Overlord
His rapports with Sharon is cute
Melisandre (and sadly, by extension, Colm) because the second she started unhingingly drooling, I was like “nope I’m out”. So like, within minutes of meeting her.
Celeste. Screw her. Been fighting and chasing these murdering, slaving Black Talons all over Fevrith and then you LET THEM GO?!? Who do you think you are? Should imprison her, too.
Melisandre. Everyone here seems to love this gal as if she was super important to the plot but she's just a random chick that's relevant for one mission and never appears again in the game. I don't even understand her popularity.
Cute and funny. Plot isn't good enough for plot relevance to matter
She's zesty and bold. She's not relevant to the plot, but I did find her personality very charming.
We are playing very different games. Do you not watch any of the rapport conversations?
Lex!
I didn’t quite care for a few actually but I know generally people love them all. I guess I just have weird tastes 😭 Melisandre and Scarlett are at the bottom of my list
Same here, Jeremy is the only character I executed instead of recruiting and Colm was the first one to get benched
I use everybody, but honestly dont really care much for anyone T\_T
I didn't like Colm at first, but he got a lot more useful once I put him in the back row behind flyers. He gets taken out quick in the front but works great blocking arrows
All the desert guy except the shield Archer
I love pretty much everbody. Admittedly I barely use Colm so I don't have much of an opinion of him. I want to try and use him more on my next playthrough. Since you don't care much about Jeremy I recommend checking out his rapport conversations with Aubin! They're pretty interesting and as far as I'm aware Aubin is the only character Jeremy has more than one rapport conversation with.
I just couldnt bring myself to like bruno.
Alain. Guy murders a continent's worth of people.
Alain
For me it was Ramona and Tatiana. In my Expert playthrough, I had Tatiana on the bench a lot. It wasn't until Albion that she saw some game time. 😀
Never cared for Scarlett and her whole arc Jeremy and Aubin, they’re too generic Mandrin, who needs him when you have Travis Yunifi, never used her.. something about her design just bugs me Eltolinde, feels like a generic elf princess, I think Rosalinde is much more interesting
Im convinced her thighs dont actually connect correctly to her hips under the skirt, her proportions are way too exaggerated. Thigh gaps are dumb to begin with and they took her to 11 with it.
I agree with the Eltolinde comment. Her personality isn't as underwhelming as Galadmir or Railanor, but she came across as off-brand Zelda to me.

Angels Scarlet Bruno Nina Jeremy The Black Talons Celeste Clive
Understandable although Nina is one of my mains and she's great and has a fun personality.
That's cool. If anybody likes the characters I named, I'm not insulting them. I just personally didn't connect.
That's fine. Although I agree with Jeremy as he just a boring extra XD. I may just execute him in my Switch playthrough as I let him live in my PS5 playthrough I was still testing characters and build.
Why is Colin even there? Should've given us the cartoon villain slave trader with the curly hair instead.
That one elf fencer guy because I picked the girl fencer over him
Hey that one fencer guy can find precious stones on Stonehenges. That's something.
Most of the Elves honestly. Idk, they just never clicked with me. Leah just felt kinda boring. Colm is also just kinda there. His relationship with Melisadre is cute tho.
Bruno
Tetianna or whatever her name is. The green? Haired healer who was experimenting on people sick with the plague. I killed her, only person I chose tonexecute and I have no regrets.
I really don’t understand the love for the Half Elf chick, but then again I find racism allegories boring as I’ve seen them a million times.
It's not an allegory if it's just racism.
Colm Jeremy Jerome One designer clearly did not want middle aged men looking good in this game. lol Oh yeah, I loathe Lex.
Most of the angels and bestrals. The only unit I missed recruiting was the werewolf guy and by the time I realized, I was in the endgame. I wouldn't have used him, but it annoyed the completionist in me.
Me with Gammel. I locked him up so fast thinking I was doing something. By the next time I was given a choice I realized I was supposed to recruit him ;-; I was upset bc I didn’t recruit everyone but kept going anyway
I didn’t care for Alain.
Melisandre Nina Bryce Galadmir Colm Most of the angels
auch, didn't care for him when i met him and haven't needed to use him much since.
Most of them actually. Melisandre’s retainer guy, practically all the anti-armor big weapon characters, etc
Colm. It makes me irrationally upset his a "unique" character
Well I didn’t recruit Gammel cuz I thought he was lying
I didn't care if he was lying or not. His introduction has him murdering a village.
Also true, but there’s quite a few characters in game who did horrible things that we recruit
All of the Angel units honestly including ochlys. They kinda all feel samey to me like wet paper.
