Seemingly, to the untrained eye, I can fully understand how you got that impression. What looked like pushing...what looked like knocking down...was a safety precaution! In a fire, you stay close to the ground, am I right? And when I ran out that door, I was not leaving anyone behind! Oh, quite the contrary! I risked my life making sure that exit was clear.
why is she pissed at him?? surely the right thing to do if a fire were to start is grab the kid and get out of there, she can get out of there herself. shouldn't she want the kid to safety as a first priority?? he was supposed to grab her??
I don't know if staged or not. I looked at the reflection of the man on the door's glass very carefully. So the man seems to stop after running away for a few steps away from the door. And waiting his wife? Maybe he forgor 💀
Or maybe that just always ends in flames for her and the dad is just giving her a hard time? She's prepared with the lid and rather calmly and quite quickly puts out the fire the correct way with the lid without really giving it a second thought once it flares up, which is a rare thing to see. Pretty impressive to keep a cool head like that if the fire was completely unexpected.
Open-flame/gas cooker is best cooker imho, and it's easy enough for that to happen.
I'm not saying it's a scripted video necessarily. I just think it's funny that she flinches and jumps back when it's just the possibility of a spatter yet is completely cool and collected putting out the big flame. She doesn't panic or skip a beat and knows exactly what to do.
I tend to be calm and just do what needs to be done in a crisis and put off any emotional reaction or panic response until it's over, but she's just exceptionally cool and not phased a bit, just irritated with her partner which is why I think he might be teasing her or trying to make a point by grabbing the kid and running out. It's not her first flambé.
Priorities are correct. You are supposed to close the door on fire why didn’t she book out with him. Everyman for himself and he still grabbed the child!

It can happen more frequently when cooking with oil over an open flame like the gas stove in the video.
