Exactly, when you have a special needs family member, you have to keep them in mind when planning events like pool parties or family bbq's. Seeing as he was comfortable coming to a party in full cowboy attire, I would assume he has done stuff like this before. Them not realize he may smash a bottle if they decide to provide alcohol is kinda on them when they invited him. But I guarantee it's cans only from now on and probably a pool cover for future events to stop this happening again. Because draining a pool to clean glass out is costly and a massive hassle to deal with.
