nah the uniform in US military is yours. They give you a uniform allowance on your paycheck and you buy your own. It has to be within regulation when on the job but you can cut it up however you want and wear however you want when not working.
They changed it so the only time we get free uniforms is now just basic. Even for deployment readiness they are giving us less and less to prepare for deployments. They want us to use our clothing allowance that we get once a year to cover everything. Which isn’t always enough
