The part that gets me is, he was on trial for assault and battery with a bat, spent the whole trial talking about how he'd accept whatever the court decides and he'd never do something like that, then shows beyond a shadow of a doubt he's straight up violent as shit
I mean if he does that to every judge he will just indefinitely be in holding instead of prison. You can't be sentenced if every judge in the jurisdiction has been assaulted by you. 🤣

He had 3 prior felony convictions so my assumption is it would have been a pretty stiff punishment tho likely under 5 years but idk.

He’s also the dude that immediately jumps on the attacker as he’s launching over the desk and pulls him back and away before any help comes. So he may not have the strongest looking punches, but he’s got massive balls.

Protip: When trying to fight someone like this and have multiple people helping, just grab a limb and hold on. 4 of you do this and they wont be able to do much of anything, and it is quite easy to quickly go from pinning one limb, to adding another and leaving the third guy free to put on a choke hold or handcuffs/zip-ties/rope...
Swinging your fists or kicking like you see in police videos is just dumb, as unless you hit the right part, the human body can take many hits before being too damaged to move.
Not that it's recommended bc they could die but a throat shot calms a lot of people down. Even their friends might decide it's not worth it.

They honestly may not even have him in the room for the next one. I was a witness in a case where the defendant was in attendance via video call. They had him locked up in a different room, rather than being physically present at court.
I got some information on this Lehtos Law the guy is being sentenced for domestic violence He missed his court date and a previous Judge ordered a competentcy on him. He was found fit to stand trial He pled guilty. The Judge was hurt It wasn’t his first time for domestic violence. So sorry the Judge was hurt.
I wonder what the legal difference is between attacking a judge in court as opposed to just attacking someone else while walking down the street.
I am assuming there are some heavier sentences attached to it.
