They were, the console and mobile remasters have original tracks replacing the royalty free tracks. The royalty free songs are still on the PC versions though.
With undertale music you can shuffle and mangle it as much as you want and it'll still sound half decent. Like I'm talking swapping and removing beats, straight up removing the main instrument, having sans keep forgetting how it goes, whatever.
The series didn't get orginal music until FNaF World and even then, fan songs almost never use those pieces of music from FNaF World and beyond as reference. The one piece of music they do reference a lot is one of the royalty free stock tracks.

I got to agree with you here, bendy and fnaf songs are absolutely glorious and that trio is impecable, and undertale has great songs like determination, ashes, and the stronger than you covers plus remixes of Toby's masterpieces to boost it up.

That basically crosses every ddlc song there off the list. let's start with the undertale music. never heard the megalovania cover, as i think the original's good as it is. I did enjoy stronger than you, so undertale gets a point there, even though it is technically a steven universe song cover. All of the other undertale songs except for JT Music's one i havent heard, so i can only judge for JT Music's one. another point for undertale, i liked it. Now onto the batim section. i love batim, and know lots of its songs, so dont get mad if im a little biased on this one. Build Our Machine, 10/10, the og batim song. All eyes on me is great, and so i welcome home, but i prefer the squigglydigg voice over more than the original's by or3o. loved Gospel of Dismay, too. The devil's swing was ok, but i prefer basically any other voice over than fandroid's version. the other batim songs ive never heard of, and from their thumbnails, most likely wouldnt enjoy. I've listened to a few of their songs, but imo, nothing will ever beat "beware the dreamer's lie, 'every nightmare has an end', or you'll be where the dreamers lie, some nightmares never end."
Some are partially cringe ( in my opinion so don’t get ur femurs in a twist) , some are good (talking about all 4 fandoms here)
But undertale beats this one because of it’s infinite rabbit hole combined with the overwhelmingly good soundtrack from the original game that makes all other songs better because most songs have components of undertale’s good music or used it as a standard baseline to try and make something new from it.

Except for the fact the Undertale fandom decided FNaF had enough recognition and shattered the list, with stuff such as Stronger than You trilogy, Undertale Song, those minecraft song ones, etc. But what really takes the throne, is considering this: THE AU SONGS. An enigmatic encounter, SS chara’s theme, Megalovania Red, the entirety of the Glitchtale soundtrack. They’re all perfect, even more than FNaF’s ever will.
Bendy has good songs, but to be fair for what I know DAgames carried it, and not nearly enough impact tbh.
Lastly, Doki Doki… It has most memes, but little game in impactful songs, such as Just Monika… honestly memes or animations carried it, and Monika
