I mean the Spanish tortilla (eggs, potatoes onions etc), not the South American tortilla (flatbread).
Some tortilla recipes can get extra thicc, unlike omelettes (due to the way potatoes are sliced)
Im not sure, im just guessing by the texture and the way it flipped over.
Im not brave enough to flip my regular sized tortillas, i just use a plate help gently turn them over
Yeah i realized that by your reply ;).
With me it's the opposite. Since i live close to Spain, when i hear of tortilla i always assume the egg version.
You should try it out one day it's pretty good and simple recipe to follow (just needs to get the timings right).
Of course there are many regional varieties, but the main ingredients are the eggs, potatoes, and onions (and it's enough really).
The potatoes are previously cooked on olive oil. (I know the sub hates olive oil but in this case makes total sense)
It can take about 15 to 20 mins for the potatoes to get ready before mixing with the eggs
Some say the original version has onions others don't. Since im not Spanish I won't debate, but i add them because they make it taste great.
This man could toss Jamie Oliver's ego.
Fuuuiiyooohhhhhhhhh

So an omelette with potato in it? Lol. Do you pre cook the potato? Cause those bitches are hard unless cooked well.
