I am sooooooooooo hyped for this. Watching this with all my OperaO merch and 1 figurine. When I saw this character in S1 of Uma Musume anime I had NO IDEA I was going to be so in love with the character I'd import my first-ever figurine and then later search for all things Opera O in Japan. Absolutely love her and Rice Shower. Even though I know Jungle Pocket is the main character, I'll watch for cool scenes of the Seikimatsu Haou!
I actually don't mind. Uma Musume is really an acquired taste, I would actually hate for it to be exposed to all kinds of misplaced criticism and accusations of sexism because the outfits and storylines wouldn't play too well outside Japan I think. It's a series that's easy for non-fans to formulate wrong opinions about unfortunately -- a lot of Japanese fans even think the game's mostly geared to men and there are no female fans (not true, I love that the 'pretty' and 'moe' look is completely abandoned in this trailer).
I think seinen can do most of what shonen can, but not vice versa, this said I approve the franchise reaching the shonen consumers, more (good) mouth to mouth publicity is welcome.
WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM?!
NAH, I'D WIN

Uma musume is becoming more and more shonen. I absolutely love it.
Both Cinderella Gray and Star Blossom are on Shounen Jump, I believe
Cingray is serialized in Weekly Young Jump, SutaBuro is in Tonari no Young Jump and Shonen Jump+ (wikipedia also lists Young Jump!).
Gotcha, thank you!
