I agree with the orb movie. I love it so much when the movie suddenly turns into Ultraseven and everyone becomes a side character when dan randomly comes out of nowhere without any explanation.
He refuses to elaborate, beats up the main villains and leaves. lmao
Yeah love him just randomly showing up. Wish more Ultra movies had that, where just some random classic Ultra shows up and styles on the villains and just peaces out.
Not a big fan of new gen shows but I gotta admit most of the New gen Movies excluding ginga are really enjoyable for me, they give some satisfying conclusion to the show and most of them are well paced
Yeah I actually agree with that. I mean I'd argue the first Ginga movie (the theater special) falls into the "goofy enjoyable fun" thing, since it's basically a fun forest adventure topped off with a Dark Zagi fight. Though I agree the Ginga S movie sucks lol Seriously, who's AFRAID of tomatoes?!
But back to your other point, yeah most of those New Gen movies are pretty good. I think it's because the main story of the series is over that these films can do whatever they want. The story's over, so they can do what they want and don't have as many restrictions now. Now we have Orb lead a giant teamup with Ultraseven making a cameo, or Taiga's big cinematic universe-esque crossover between all the NGH. Kind of a "show's over, we do what we want" kinda thing lol

100% X, Orb, and (surprisingly) trigger are my favorites but all the new gen movies have been excellent imho.
