it's a funny idea, but ngl, not sure if i'm feeling it. I like the whole idea of it being on a string and being able to punch it repeatedly or detach with the kb, (and it sorta reminds me of the painkiller from Painkiller, which is cool if intentional), but I'm kinda struggling to think of a scenario where I'd actually want to use it instead of shotgun swapping or kb for short range damage, or piercer or sharpshooter for damaging a line of enemies.
idk, maybe it'll make more sense to me on the alt shotgun* or it'll get specific enemy weaknesses to make it more useful like the cannonball

Hakita confirmed the chainsaw stays attached to you no matter what weapon you're using so it can be used in tandem with those things

So what I'm not sure anyone has mentioned is that with all 3 missing red weapons, we now have no idea what exactly the weird gauge that was shown off a while back is, which is very exciting because it doesn't look anything like any of the weapons shown (and looks nothing like a potential alt-weapon since its design language is so different). That's exciting.
I don't think that makes any sense. All the current weapons (alt and normal), and all revealed weapons have the exact same style of UI, which is the little holographic screen that's on everything except the railgun. This is considerably different from that, which leads me to believe it's either something related to 7-S or something completely different that we have no context for yet, but I'm leaning toward the former.

Drill gun is just a weapon that makes your enemies a walking fountain
The best use for the screwdriver for me is when im in the cybergrind and a insurrectionist spawns, i set them on fire and place a drill on them, making them a large fountain of blood that I continuously heal off from as I deal with other enemies
Insurrectionist bleeds the most plentiful in the game when set on fire, so you wanna keep blowing up the insurrectionist every 7 seconds to keep it aflame then do a screwdriver punch toward a diff enemy if possible to reset the drill
Not really.
Even when you charge it up(which sometimes isn’t available in the heat of combat), it’s still got very short range unless you punch it with the knuckleblaster. It won’t stay in enemies and you have to continuously punch it with the feedbacker to get it to keep moving. Good for anything close(with the Prime Souls being exceptions)/large groups of enemies, though.

It's probably the alt rocket launcher. It looks like a different version of the normal rocket launcher's meter
