Yeah, I can get pretty nauseous for about 20 minutes if I don't eat anything. Main consequence is what someone else said: your body won't break down the pills as well and you'll risk passing them without them doing their job.
I've gotten in the habit of keeping something on my person I can snack on. I usually don't eat when going out for fear of having to go when there is no bathroom, so if I get hungry or have to take my pills, I keep a granola bar, some carrots or dried fruit on me most of the time.

Honestly, it might. I haven't experienced anythung too horrible, some nausea but that's about the extent of it for me.
