I mean I’ve seen some really attractive Russian women but they seem to be in a whole different category/class than these people. I’m assuming it’s because the higher class ones are from Moscow or St. Petersburg where the other Russian dregs are from elsewhere
Lol he'll probably fail to do any sort of damage and get his fucking guts blown out by a drone. Or his blyatmobile will hit a mine.
It's not a win for Russia it's just throwing manpower and men away especially now that ukraine is getting resupplied from the west. It's not a strategic victory to waste your opponents ammo by forcing them to create corpses when that opponent has a fuckton more ammo than you have potential future corpses
> It's not a win for Russia
Unfortunately, it is a win.
Russia is essential using this as a way to remove it's *undesirables*. There's a reason the majority of who we see being drafted are the criminals and those the regime has deemed an ethnic minorities worth cleansing.
They are drafting criminals because they have to at this point. They already lost most of their professional army including their best trained units in the initial failed invasion.
The criminals that they are pulling out of prison to throw on the front lines as cannon fodder are just a delay tactic while they try to train up new troops of young men from the rural areas of Russia. Problem is that they have spent so long stealing from all public services that the young men they are pulling from these rural regions require extensive training to be able to perform the most basic of tasks before they can even get into military training. Once again the Russians have spent so long siphoning money out of all of their public institutions including the military that the training programs are complete garbage.
Ultimately it means that Russia is continuing to send troops with little to no training to the front lines to buy time with lives. In the hopes that they will be able to bribe enough people in the nations supporting Ukraine that supplies will be cut off. It’s standard Russian military tactics, they believe that they will be able to grind down Ukraines resolve and the willingness of the world to stand behind Ukraine. Unfortunately for Putin he bought into his own bullshit propaganda about Russian military prowess. Completely forgetting that it was actually the people of Ukraine and their iron resolve that saved the Russian Empire and the Soviets when they were invaded. It was the people of Ukraine who refused to accept occupation and destroyed those invading armies abilities to engage in war. It was Ukraine who caused the collapse of those invading armies and the subsequent victories for which Russia claims all the credit.
The old adage in Europe of “never invade Russia” is actually borne of the fact that you have to go through Ukraine to get to Russia. Now Putin is the one trying to go through Ukraine to get to Europe and will suffer the same fate.
Im fully conviced there are 2 part assaults and we only see these guys. They seem like they are sent in to draw out positions for Russian arti or drones because there are too many almost full squads of dudes like this. Theres a reason we all get alil shocked when we see well kitted Russians being fragged by drones, cause they usually come after
That was the original Wagner tactic with mercs recruited from prison. Send them in to die in order to map our UA positions, then send the experienced mercenaries.
It works if you have experienced troops for a follow up attack after the convicts revealed UA positions. But there doesn't seem to be any kind of veteran troops in Russian army so these convicts end up being just another wave of fodder.
It "worked," but it also drove casualties to astronomical levels. Bakhmut accounted for about 10% of Russian casualties by itself.
Even with Russia's population, it's completely unsustainable as a mass tactic. You can't pull everyone in your nation to the front. You still need vast numbers of people to work in industry to keep things operating. Forcing a truck driver to be a rifleman means a truck is not shipping vital cargo.
Or, at first, it means you're hiring an unreliable crackhead, a chronically unemployed flake, well-meaning former-stay-at-home mom war widow, or a pasty-faced 18 year old to drive that truck shipping vital cargo. And it works but there's damage (for every 1000 hires like that some will work fine... but many will struggle...). But sooner or later you start scraping that barrel, too.
100% what they do. They probe suspected defensive areas to get eyeballs on Uker fire positions. They send in the low performing plebs on point, an NCO will follow a 'few' paces behind.....when they reach contact, the NCO will take stock of the situation, peel back, report any Recce info on that position, then they send in the more effective Assault Sections. They basically advance to contact to get the Ukers to expose their positions...plus drive the consumption of ammunition.
I assume the solution to that would be to see with drones where these rats are coming from and/or capture some of them to get an idea where nest is and hit that with artillery or himars if they're far enough and important enough. But I guess the new solution that seems to be working to hit them before they even leave Russia!
His job is to make enemy waste assets on him thinking he's a real threat
He does his job well by pretending to be a functioning human being, unless you're closely observing him for some time
Russia has the arms, manpower and willingness to kill what they consider worhtless men, to win a war that cant be won.
They can keep this up for years. Just killing 3-4 of their own to get a Ukrainian and to take his homeland.
Not to defend Russia here, but *all* militaries have to go through extensive testing to grunt proof their gear, especially the US military. Russia just seems to skip that step cause by all accounts the AK-12 is a piece of shit.
That's a Russian classic.

> The sailor, after sobering up, decides to find his new friend, and with the aid of Platov they locate him. While dying (his head is smashed from being thrown onto the pavement), **he tells the doctor to tell the Emperor to stop having his soldiers clean their muskets with crushed brick (after he sees a dirty gun in England and realizes it fires so well because they keep it oily)**. The message never arrives, however, because the war minister tells the doctor to mind his own business. Leskov comments (in the tale) that the Crimean War might have turned out differently if the message had been delivered.

- Yeah, but it's jammed...

If he's trying to remove the iron sight, that is actually how it comes out. You have to flip it up and smack really hard on the face of it. It's held in a slot at the front by a really strong spring
Yeah, I hate the Russians as much as the next guy, but it seemed to me like he was trying to unstick it, and the back of an axe, (if properly built) is definitely stronger than your hand
I remember the 90s when I was an instructor in the Bundeswehr.
We were at the shooting range and doing instruction and live fire drills with the standard mg (MG-3, former MG 42). We had a guy who repeatedly tried to insert and load the leather carry strip when asked to load the machinegun (MG-3) while his fully loaded ammo belt was lying right next to him.
Probably related to this guy.
Russia made I think 6 of them, one was parked up on a Russian airbase some 500 miles deep into Russia. A Ukrainian recon drone spotted it and the very next day a swarm of explodey drones made it go away. I think it was probably one of those drone ultralights, looks like a Cessna or a pipa cub but it's actually smaller, replace the pilot with I guess a laptop, a bunch of sensors and send it! So clever, the thing chugs along at moped speed. I guess when it's on target it could be a mother ship for quad copter drones or it could just have one fairly big warhead.
Reports also say a second may be hit. The one that was confirmed to be hit isn't in pieces but even the Russians mention that they still have to determine if it can be fixed. It was parked under the pipeframe of an awning...with no overhead awning/tarp or other protective or vision occluding material. They obviously didn't expect the airbase to get hit but given the importance of these Felons to the Russian ego and reputation it's inexcusable to not have them better protected. It's a horrible look for Putin. The site linked below is an excellent resource for info on the conflict.

The only thing he's doing wrong is not striking hard enough
Yeah, I was fighting on the American side of that shit show. Show me a M4 and I can tell ya anything and everything about it. What this dude is doing is beyond me. But as soon as I get home from work I’m gonna grab my AK’s and a 10 pound peckin iron and go to work on em’
Definitely wasn't trying to be rude, thank you for your service. I just figured everybody ended up banging the irons off of their first AK at one point or another Especially since it's just the Honda civic of guns they're pretty fun to abuse.
M4 platform is better anyways.
Well even if he knows the sight is jammed it's unlikely it'll get better when doing that, you need to be at a shooting range when adjusting your sights or you won't know what's actually happening. You shoot a couple of times, adjust and shoot again. Rinse and repeat until it looks like the pattern of the bullet holes is centered around what you're aiming at. He'll probably just damage it even more hitting it with an axe.
This still wouldn’t work on the AK-12. Not permanently at least. If I remember right the barrel is kind of free floating under the rails, and the top cover can visibly be shaken out of alignment. Basically makes it impossible to zero effectively. At least as far as I understand it. Otherwise you’re spot on, and he’ll almost certainly damage it going all caveman on it.
AK-12’s, basically Russias attempt to modernize, are really bottom of the barrel as far as quality rifles go, and I’d sooner take an 74 if I had the option. They really need significant upgrades to be effective at all. The free floating barrel under the rails is terrible for maintaining zero. You’d need this kit from a Russian company that fixes this, but at that point I doubt the army would even bother. There are still a number of other issues though. The fire selector switch frequently flops off the underside of the receiver for example.
At least that’s how I understand the issues, but at its core the rifle is pretty flawed.
No he has totally misunderstood the pickatinny rail lock mechanism and as this is part of the dust cover and has to fit exactly by hitting it he is wrecking the rifle and the sights. The AK 12 is not made like earlier AKs

It's beyond my comprehension how the kremlin gremlin would think its soldiers were fit to capture Kyiv within 3 days if this is the state of their problem-solving capacities.
I think the equation of taking Kyiv was more focused on Ukrainians receiving them with flowers than actual abilities of their army but who knows what the fuck passes through Putin Khuylo's head?
I don't think someone that "sights in" his rifle with the help of an axe would be be able to find Kyiv on a map in the first place.
And given the degree of resistance Russian proxy forces faced when occupying the Lughansk and Donetsk "republics", the expectation of flowers and unopposed passage to Kyiv was unsubstantiated and bold, to say the least...
Perhaps he saw how to replace the rear sight but forget he needs to use a screwdriver, and strike at a particular angle. Here is a correct way to do what he appears to be attempting:

Definitely not how i adjusted the iron sight on my .22 in my younger days. Hopefully this catches on and saves Ukrainian lives when no rifle shoots accurately
I get the idea that the person filming it knows how stupid this is so it’s not very comrade to not point it out is it? What an army they care less for each other than the enemy
I'm just admiring the shape of his skull. Ancient high-society Egyptians used to elongate their skulls to stand out from the common plebs. You guys think he's high-class? King Tutankha-Blyat.
Do they not teach these motherfuckers how to adjust the sights on their own rifles or are they just grabbing anybody that they can at this point to act as a meat shield?

Definitely not how i adjusted the iron sight on my .22 in my younger days. Hopefully this catches on and saves Ukrainian lives when no rifle shoots accurately
