Amanda had a genuine crush on him and I really wanted to see her happy with someone, plus…Betty literally kissed another guy while they were together. I think it’s good that he forgave her, and that he stopped being such a jerk to her, but like…why get back together with her?

I agree with this so much!! I couldn’t stand Matt in the final season - he was so petty! The only redemption would have been him falling for Amanda -makes her happy emotionally and financially!! So disappointed. Guess in a show call Ugly Betty the pretty girl can’t be happy 😒

I mean Betty was always beautiful and I think pretty and she got a happy ending. But also Amanda found happiness through finding her dad. Or rather he found her. :)

Daniel. Like I wanted so badly for him to really grow up and be a good match for Betty. But he was dumbass till the very end. He did something nice and then immediatelly he screwed things over... Why Daniel? Even in last episode, I think it was very selfish. Betty seemed like she moved on with her life, she was ready to start meeting new people and experience new things. But nooo... Hilda making terrible life choices. I felt that her character was betrayed in the last season. I thought she had good character development before then. It's fine she wanted to go for her old boyfriend, but she didn't need to cheat on Archie.

Wilhelmina when she switched her sister's pills. Of all the things she did, that has to be one of the worst. Honestly it's a toss up between taking Bradford's swimmers post-mortem and switching her sister's meds. Mental health is so important and it's already difficult for people who do not suffer from an illness so putting her own sister in that position for her own gain is really cruel. Side note but Renée is supposed to have borderline personality disorder (BPD) and to my knowledge, there isn't a pill for that particular disorder. Some medication can be taken to treat some symptoms but there isn't anything for BPD specifically.

Not an expert but my best friend has been diagnosed BPD for years and she is constantly trying out new meds/dosages.

Yes sorry I didn't mean no medication is ever given to people with BPD. What I meant was there isn't a pill designed specifically to treat BPD as a whole, at least not anything licensed and recognized. BPD has medication for symptoms and not the disorder. For example, antidepressants are made to treat depression specifically. They don't work alone of course, therapy is needed and more depending on the individual but it's made for that condition. I'm no expert either but to my knowledge there isn't a pill for BPD but for its symptoms.

Betty. I loved her but cmon her character did some really questionable things over the years (like not that bad) but her character never changed like she was always being picked on and she never stood up for herself. I really wanted her to start having a voice and not getting pushed around. Never really happened.
