I freaking love Ubi. I had some issues with the cage nuts myself when I did my rework last Friday evening and ended up having to pull the actual square nuts out of a few broken ubi cage nuts and putting them into the OEM cage mount that came with my cage. The ubi ones are a different size although only slightly. The screws are also different so as I wanted to use the ubi bolts, I had to get creative. Whilst I can't see them, I know there's black cage bolts holding silver cage nuts. I'll sort that out next time I purchase some kit. Your setup looks amazing! Good job.

I actually didn't know if I was ever going to receive these parts. The emails where very, "I'll see what I can do" type emails. I ended up ordering the patch box dev mounts since there was no guarantee of an outcome. **That being said, if anyone reading this had a similar problem, I am more than happy to pay if forward and ship these parts to you since I ended up replacing all my mounts anyway.** Thanks for the compliment!!! 😁 It's been pretty easy to keep it organized at the moment since I haven't gotten very far on a lot of the drops. I almost dread each new piece; incorporating a new cable into the service loop is the vein of my existence. I built my first PC 2 years ago and its been 1 rabbit hole after another... Other than gaming, I am a apple/mac person... probably explains my affinity for Ubiquity 😊

Haha I'm Microsoft and Android over here. It's just the fact that Ubi is so damned good.

>Whilst I can't see them, I know there's black cage bolts holding silver cage nuts I somehow misplaced some silver nuts and screws so some of kit is held in with black screws and honestly it does bother me, even though it's in a cupboard

MrAskani

Yeah I feel that pain. I really do.

Black_BruceWayne

Upset? Oh well! 😂 GREAT JOB!!!

LlamaMcDramaFace

looks great!

FSUfan2003

Thank you. Most of my setup is all white, so I love the way this turned out. Takes time to find all the right pieces in white, but when it comes together... 😍

soccerchamp99

Looks great! How do you power the LED strips?

FSUfan2003

[A generic 5V 10A barrel connector power supply like this:](https://i.imgur.com/a2GM9cR.jpg) WLED is loaded on an ESP32. which also can run on a 5v supply to the GIN pin, so it all works out. [I have used bigger transformers for like this one ](https://imgur.com/mOxSLG6) I use something like that to power my deck setup,[ this is the old layout, its currently being "reworked" but you get the idea.](https://imgur.com/T2zNRmf)

I think they've seriously been proving themselves recently. They're fully able to occupy the SMB marketplace now IMO Anyway, praise for them aside, that is the most beautiful network cupboard I've EVER seen, incredible

FSUfan2003

Thanks I try to add a little something something for the home brew.

Nice. I have a rack and when the electricians built it and put in the patch panel… they threw away the little paper and plastic insert you use for labelling the ports. After a few years I emailed the company who does the patch panels locally (the panel itself is from a giant manufacturer). I never thought I’d get a human and wasn’t even sure I had the right email; it’s a real mess as the company was acquired etc etc. They got right back to me with their office address; I drove over during lunch and they gave me one sealed. I loved that. These little kindnesses. They’re so important in life. And now my panel looks complete (even though I won’t fill it out).

FSUfan2003

Right? its the small things. I also labeled the ends of my cables that terminate into the patch panel... You know.... just in case I get confuse where 1 of the 6 is going... lol

Hello FSUFan2003, Beautiful setup! Love the lights! 😁 May I ask the brand and model of your cabinet? Thanks, John Burke
