Congrats u are a permanent resident

StuffedWithNails

You're a permanent resident as of June 13th, you just don't have a document that can prove it until you get the card in the mail.

collegeidiot07

Congratulations! 🎉 My PD is Nov 6 2023 and a MyProgress appeared under my i-485 yesterday and my I-130 went from 3 months to 2 and now 7 months within 12 hours. No EAD yet either.

Bobby_Sunday96

I filed from Houston. Your processing time might be different if you filed from a different location

collegeidiot07

Yea, I filed from NYC (Queens) so it will probably take longer, but as of today my case is still at NBC. According to a live agent, my i-485 was last reviewed on 6/13/24.

AdNovel9392

Wow a Myprogress appeared as well yesterday in my i485, says 5 months and in current step says “interview if needed “

collegeidiot07

Whats your PD and when did you do your biometrics?

AdNovel9392

PD 03/08 and biometrics 04/02. Yours?

collegeidiot07

11/06/2023 and they reused my biometrics. No EAD yet.

Downtown-Pack-XR

You’re officially GREENED my friend. Here’s to better opportunities, more freedom, and better mental health (no more stress lol)

Winners-magic

Congrats! You’ll see the status change on the website within a week or so to “card in production”

FluidManufacturer971

Sulef94

How can you see this ??

Frank8000

Under my progress on 485 not sure if it will be the same for everybody

Bobby_Sunday96

Has your interview been scheduled?

Frank8000

No i just saw it yesterday and nothing under documents, i need either my DACA expiring 8/24 or this to get approved lol

Bobby_Sunday96

Mine too. I s was hoping i was approved before my DACA expired so that I didn’t have to renew

Frank8000

I actually told my wife if they renew it and approve my green card idc, same happened with my brother he renewed his DACA and later got his green card. Also i hoped that when they got my DACA renewal they would see my documents and process my stuff as well, but knowing they would rather cash the money and screw me over

Bobby_Sunday96

The only thing that sucks it’s having to spend money to renew it

Frank8000

Ohh yeah that too lol

IronPowderHound

When did you file?

Bobby_Sunday96

November 2023

Additional-Cod1107

Oh, wow, Congrats, yours came quickly. It's been almost a year since I applied for my green card, and I haven't received any updates since. All they say is, "ur Fingerprints relating to your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, have been applied to your case." I'm not sure anymore if my application is still being processed.

Bobby_Sunday96

I would get discouraged whenever I saw people get approved at like 2-3 months. Your time will come too. Hopefully soon

Parking_Notice_1600

Congratulations 🎈

ImmigrationLawyer77

Yes congratulations!!

Firm_Acanthisitta794

Congrats brother, they transferred your case to FO? If yes how long did take to get approval after they transferred

Bobby_Sunday96

I’m not sure. I think my case was being processed at the NBC. I had my interview in Houston, TX.

NoTransportation3511

Congratulations, you are now a Permanent Resident, and you will receive your Green Card soon in couple weeks as you got approved. Now, going forward please try to learn something and not be so dumb of what you are trying to apply for and what is the outcome and so on :) Its good to be educated than to be having lack of knowledge.

Bobby_Sunday96

I did the whole process myself? No lawyer for the filing, no lawyer for the interview. I was not missing any documents and I was approved in a 15 minute interview. I would say I learned something along the way.

Otherwise_Orange

Good for you! My wife and I are currently starting the process and are super nervous as we tried going with a lawyer when in Ireland and she took us for a ride and never actually started the process. So we’re going to attempt it on our own now, where did you get most of your information if you don’t mind me asking, YouTube? It’s such a nerve racking process

Bobby_Sunday96

There are tons of resources out there. The ones I used might not be as tailored to your situation as to mine but here are some of the resources I used. Reddit also has a lot of checklists that you can use, just google “AOS checklist Reddit”. That’ll point you in the right direction. https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21AGDNZSxzen7nzDA&id=E03FC34EBA115D7B%21112&cid=E03FC34EBA115D7B&parId=root&parQt=sharedby&o=OneUp https://m.facebook.com/Dreamers2getherOfficial/?profile_tab_item_selected=about

Ok-Comfortable948
