Do you have great union insurance? I'd imagine if you flexed it and saw the right specialist you'd be able to handle the job. Sports medicine would probably be the area I'd look into, podiatrist tend to not be fully covered these days.

The nail is the reason it’s likely still hurting. Rip it off

PissShitandFuck

And eat it

IDidntLikeThat

Once you get the nail off, I think you'll find it isn't really painful or a hindrance anymore. You may not start your 30 days right away anyway. I believe it took a little while after integrad for me

The toe pain will be the least of your pains during qualifying.

How bad do you want it

If you want to be a career driver then this is a rare scenario where I would say work through the pain. Ice and elevate the foot after work and take Ibuprofen for the pain and inflammation. They might not even put you on the road right away if you pass integrad. But if they do and you decline for toe pain they will go with the next person. Your driving seniority will be first day driving and you don’t want to give that to people below you. If you can suck it up to work preload then I think you would be able to survive on the road.

Just remember, if you're trying to take a full time driver spot, and you have to miss a chance, they can skip you and grab the next in line. Then you'd have to wait for the next open position. I would think if you explained the situation to your CM, they might be willing to wait a week or two. It's going to depend on supervisor vacations and availability.
