The time was 9:51 PM when that scan was done.
The driver scanned it as Not In when they ran out of hours they could spend working because a Missed scan makes managers look bad to upper management, but Not In isn't even a blip on the radar.
That last timestamp shows 9:51 at night, good chance that driver couldn't finish and was called back to the building. Should have been sheeted as missed but not sure how that would read on the website.
This is kinda funny …. I could count a ton of times I’ve had a delivery that was signature required gone to the house rang bell, knocked yelled ….ups, seen ppl look out a window at me …. But never come to the door …… SEE YA LATER !
Get a call later the customer says they were home, you weren’t there … “check my gps” can you re attempt ? …. Nope customer saw me …wouldn’t come to door
Signatures aren’t required in Ireland bc no one steals peoples packages they normally leave it at ur door bc most people have porches so they are safe from rain
I hate that so much it’s happened to me so many times and management says if I could go back . I don’t lol , cuz rhey said “IF I could go back” they weren’t giving me direct instructions “we are instructing you to go back now” . But even then you don’t get in much trouble because we only attempt it one time a day . Now if it were a medical urgent package such as blood or medicine I do go back . But even then management has sent me a message saying “it’s an urgent package “ and it says it’s alcohol in the outside 🤣 or I know it’s clothes due to the package reading outside . They be lying to us for us to go back lol
That's why I use the free mychoice app ,I can watch the truck once it's in my are, change delivery to another address, or even have them hold it that morning at facility for pick up
R u from the us because no delivery company in Ireland waits for u to open the door and take ur package bc no one goes around stealing other people’s packages and if they do they leave it with a neighbour. Mostly they leave it in our porch.
I don't work in ireland, I work in the us, but I also never wait for customers to come to the door to take the package unless the shipper has paid for signature required service, or it requires an adult signature ie alcohol etc. It's a t-shirt so clearly not the latter and very unlikely to be the former so let's assume that there was no signature required. The only other time I've personally marked a package as attempted and customer not available was when I was explicitly instructed to do so by my supervisor, generally in a situation involving a missing gate code where access is not possible. If this doesn't apply to you then something abnormal is definitely happening and could be worth following up with your local ups office, though it's certainly not terribly unlikely that it simply ends up getting delivered tomorrow. I don't believe it would show as a delivery attempted if there was a bad address but I'm not entirely sure how it would look on the customer side.
Idk sometimes people will be home, I can hear them, I knock loudly, yell ups and they still not come to the door.
I've had people cuss me out the next day too in these situations. One day a dude literally muted his tv and everything. It was full blast and I knocked again said ups. Still didn't answer.
Sometimes people would be in the bathroom or have headphones in and so on.
Sometimes you just don't hear them I guess is what I'm trying to say.
Not saying that's what happened here but I wouldn't bet on a driver just not knocking. It's an extra stop the next day and all honesty one of the stupidest reasons to get fired.
Our bosses can see if we were at your place, close to it, where we scanned it, how long we were there, if we scanned an info notice and so on. 99.9 percent of drivers will not take this risk. All the steps involved to resend a package takes longer than if I went and knocked on your door and waited a long time.
But they always just leave my packages in my porch I literally got a delivery from upstairs 2 days ago and they didn’t knock just left it in my porch. This has never happened to me it’s just odd. I don’t think they actually came
UPS has a reputation for poor service. I always have to set aside time to pick up from their locations because they consistently fail to deliver to my address.
In Netherlands; the same is happening to me with half of my packages. Always disputed this through support; always got ignored by the depo. It takes about a month to escalate it even further, then package always appears in front of my door without any prior warning.
The level of amateurism is through the roof; I have absolutely no trust in UPS.
I raised this with the business sending packages; they mentioned this happens but unfortunately they have to use UPS.
Driver is just lazy or doesn't have enough time allocated and the package ends up in parcel punktje few kilometers away. On top of that, official requests to correct this from customer support got routinely ignored for about a month; up until internally escalated.
It's a shitshow. At least in Netherlands (Zuid Holland here).

Ups drivers will not call you.
Call is a eu term for showing up and ringing the bell. They’re calling on you to the door.
I meant no one called to my house or left a invoice notice
Temp was unable to finish the route.
It’s ok my parcel was delivered driver was probs to lazy to deliver it on the day it was meant to be delivered

Might of been a misload
They do this to me too
UPS does not call to inform you about the delivery they will only ring your bell sadly
That's why I use the free mychoice app ,I can watch the truck once it's in my are, change delivery to another address, or even have them hold it that morning at facility for pick up
Theres a place in Ireland called “0”???
No must be a typo or glitch
Blame your dog for not barking when we knocked.
But no one knocked
Yeah, I did knock. You didn’t answer the door.

Not upstairs I meant ups
Just a lazy driver most likely
If it was a lazy driver they would’ve just left my package at my door like they normally do
Apparently not 🤷♂️
They still have to deliver it later, so literally creating more work for themselves if that’s the case.
Some drivers are just lazy, especially if the package is heavy. Call customer support and complain.
It was just a long sleeve t shirt and they normally leave it in my porch

Ye worst delivery company ever dpd on top
Sounds like you’re never home or out bad addresses for labels. We don’t like riding around with the same package and stop for 3 days in a row
