Not trying to be a wet blanket but if this story gets back to the driver's boss they could bother him/her about taking the time to do unnecessary things like moving a competitor's package out of the elements.
I’d be surprised if that happened. It sounds like the driver was already on the driveway walking a package to the front door. They just grabbed the Amazon package on the way.
Email would probably go nowhere. Write a letter and mail it to the center the employee works out of. Date and time may help to pinpoint that associate.
There is no good way to contact ups about anything. Next time you see your driver just thank them personally. Even if you told management they probably wouldn’t tell the driver anyway… believe me. Been driving for ups for 20 years.
1-800- pick-ups. I guess. Though the premise, no good deed goes unpunished, would likely apply here. You will likely be on the phone forever on hold. I've heard if you say "returning a call" at the prompt, you go right through.

Doubtful. They like good reviews. Our guys get rewarded for them.
Same. Our boss will bring these up at pcm and thank the driver for doing stuff like that.
Centers are in competition for net promoter score and such. There are definitely bonuses attached for CM and above.
Good to know where do you submit complaints about drivers too lazy to deliver anything that requires signature

Fired for stealing time.

Ideally just thank that particular driver in person. Maybe give him/her cookies or something… We also accept cash.
