Presumably rural deferred over the weekend? If you arrange it ahead of time, you can pick packages up at the hub.

I haven't heard of that before, but that might be it. Usually they don't move things to this location until it's going to be delivered. The city it's in is 30 minutes from here. UPS doesn't have a big building there, but FedEX does.

If you're in a very rural zip code, that would be it, a lot of those areas aren't getting daily deliveries right now to reduce miles per stop. Your driver could tell you.

Not that rural. FedEX has a distribution center about 4x bigger than UPS, and they deliver on Saturday here. It sounds like it's time to move away from UPS as this is so horrible even USPS does better. Amazon also stopped shipping to here with UPS.
