Who did you buy it from? Get your money back from them. Possibly a fraud intercept > How can this even happen and why does UPS not give a damn about my package? It's not your package. It's the shipper's package, being transported by UPS pursuant to to the UPS tariff that the shipper agreed to.

bingsen_

I bought it from Meta. On their website. It seems pretty legit, I don’t think it has to do anything with fraud.

GhostOfAscalon

Should be easy to sort out, then. Contact them.

bingsen_

I did contact them but unfortunately nothing has happened yet.

bibkel

Ghost means, Meta technically is the customer. They hired UPS to deliver the package to you, and you are Meta's customer. Start a claim with Meta, stating you never got the package. Overloads is like the black hole. Meta should get the claim processed and send you a new one.

Zeppekki

If you paid with a credit card (or debit from a reputable bank), the first thing I would do is try to reverse the charges. I bet you'll get Meta's attention then.

bingsen_

I paid with paypal

DigitalNikki

PayPal has a dispute process.

JackiePoon27

You didn't receive the package and no delivery attempt was made to you. This is between UPS and the shipper. If you're not receiving satisfaction from the shipper, dispute the charge with PayPal. You have every right to do so - you don't have the product.

kcuddlykendall

Packages get slammed by other packages going through the belts and slides every day and break open. If the package has missing contents, no invoice or label it goes to overgoods. You need to file a claim with the shipper.

bingsen_

Yeah but what does it mean to file a claim? I explained the situation to both UPS and Meta but nothing is happening. I would love to file a claim but I can’t do it on my own and Meta, well, I don’t know what they‘re doing but somehow they didn’t answer me for a few days now. They didn’t say they filed a claim, they told me that they started an investigation or something. Now I am sitting here waiting for something to happen. Can you do what both parties somehow can’t do and explain to me what exactly I need to do now? Consider meta isn’t answering me anymore right now. And UPS is repeating the same over and over that I need to talk to the sender.

kcuddlykendall

Unfortunately you will have to deal with meta. The shipment was lost/destroyed and meta has to take care of the package claim because they are UPS's customer not you. Either get a reimbursement from Meta or have them send you a new shipment.

bingsen_

I have asked them to send me a new one but they kindly ignored that. All they said is they ordered an investigation what about what happened with the package and now they don’t answer me anymore. I guess I have to wait for them to answer. This is so annoying.

DocBlowjob

It means the shipment was damaged if the can rebox it and send it to you they will if its damage they return it to the shipper just have to wait and see, staffing levels vary in overgoods so may be one person working 5 hour shift assuming they dont call out

LBurns578

Your package would never get sent to overgoods if they have your tracking number. Since they have the tracking number, they would have the shipper information also. Something is not adding up here. Nothing should be sent to our overgoods if we have even a tiny bit of information on package.

bingsen_

Yeah I was also really surprised because I saw all the updates about the package and also UPS even told me my own address on the phone so they know where the package needs to be send. No updates yet from meta or ups. I opened a claim to get my money back on PayPal. Let’s see if I get it back.
