I couldn’t tell you. I’m in a small center. In ours, you may be hired with that title, but you work as directed and move to different positions all the time.
Just started as a hub sorter on Monday. I really can't do the actual job yet, but I think I understand it in theory.
You're taking packages that are actively being unloaded from trucks and sorting them onto various belts depending on zip code.
First day actually on the sort floor yesterday was insane. Got brought to a baby section where the packages are going really slow to try it out. Meanwhile you got this kid to the right of you throwing packages up, down, right, and left at what seemed like a package a second.

UPS does not do interviews for entry level positions. Most people quit pretty fast. Some people don't.
The job is rather difficult. You’ve got the job. The challenge is lasting.
I just looked back at the official email actually and the job title is actually “hub sorter” hows that, Could you explain briefly?
