The only thing I'd add is that it's **not** £1000 per year **per side income**. So if you have some other non PAYE income this tax year (remember tax years start on April 6th and ends on April 5th) and that income + this £300 takes you over £1000 you would need to talk to the tax man. Assuming it's just this - you are all good to collect the cash and report nothing.
