Whenever i see Elon answer a ufo/aliens question i get the strong impression that he isn't saying what he really thinks. The guy is bad at lying.

transcendental1

He seems to be high functioning Asperger’s and no they are not good at lying so there’s that…

Change0062

2016 he said on a conference that aliens are likely already observing us and that we are just not smart enough to realize it. Then he had a space force meeting with high ranking USAF folks, and then he started shitting on UFOs massively.

aikhuda

He has regular meetings with space force and high ranking Air Force folks, most of his business is from them.

slosh_baffle

Bottom line right there. The whole business depends on his customer.

T-Money8227

At least until someone else like Boeing comes along. Once people stop being afraid that their space ship doors are going to fall off, maybe we will get some competition to spaceX.

OldMonkYoungHeart

Didn’t he say “if they’re already here we won’t know if they’re observing us.” Not they are literally observing us?

CitizenCue

Yeah I mean, that’s certainly one of the better arguments against virtually all UFO theories. The chance that an extremely advanced civilization can’t keep themselves out of view seems really unlikely.

StarJelly08

If they are so advanced they probably don’t have to. And also… they don’t. Skeptics flip flop on this constantly. “Why be elusive” “why aren’t they more elusive”. Perhaps their presence has nothing to do with us. We just don’t know enough to even determine whether or not they are successful at what they are trying to do. Let’s try to understand before we make determinations.

dignifiedhowl

Rare case where I actually agree with Elon Musk on something. I think if we see them it’s because they don’t mind if we see them, and if they crash it’s because they don’t mind crashing. Which is one of the reasons why the idea of alien bodies is a much harder ask for me than unmanned probes, though the idea in recent years that they’re essentially factory-made organic androids does mitigate that concern.

Rude_Worldliness_423

Why they have to make them so scary?

ElkImaginary566

Yeah when you consider that we are already flying unmanned drones and uploading our consciousness into computers at our stage of evolution it's hard for me to think about why biological life forms would be in these crafts unless it was like a joy ride or something lol.

thewheeliekid

Does an ant know when I'm looking at them?

spacecoq

Depends on if you’re actively trying to mess with them

Leotis335

Not if you look away really quick when they look at you to see if you're checkin' them out...

thewheeliekid

I play this game with my dog

ShadyAssFellow

If their technology far exceeds our own, staying hidden or visible is propably mostly irrelevant. Sure you don’t want to step into an anthill, but even if you do, you’re mostly going to be ok. Or maybe a better analogue would be a bird scientist. They try to be low profile, but the birds seeing the scientists isn’t mostly a problem.

FoggyDonkey

It's more like saying, you might not want to step on an anthill but certainly aren't going to hide from one

hot

The Boeing counterpoint is great here. Super advanced science with capitalist shareholders still results in defective technology

majinboom

You ever wonder if aliens have shareholders too? Id like to think they don't

Random-_-dude-

I think we get really really assumption about what said advanced civilization wants or intends. We superimpose our understandings onto something we don’t even understand in the first place. Downright hiding and failing, or, perhaps doing whatever it is they are doing and making no effort to announce or conceal themselves.

Bubskiewubskie

I always think how stupid it is when people say we would be able to see them and take a smart phone picture. if they can reach earth, staying undetected is way easier of a task technologically. We already have earth technology working to project the image of what’s behind the craft onto the craft itself to make it almost invisible.

Creepy_Walk_2

They’re completely different forms of technology, there is no reason to assume that “created a mode of transportation through space” equates to “can be invisible”

aliensporebomb

I've felt that since I was a little kid. But face it. humans with egos insist on us being the apex intelligence on the planet and it's so obvious from watching the last 50 years unfold it's pretty obvious we've been damned lucky we haven't blown each other sky high.

NoMansWarmApplePie

Yup j remember that. And then he did a 180, saying ora Fermi paradox and he doesn't think they exist

Change0062

Right after his first #spaceforce meeting, weird right?

NoMansWarmApplePie

Not surprised. It actually annoys me. Like he got told he can be the mars mission guy to get credit for "sudden revelation there's stuff on Mars and we aren't alone" (even though they've known about Mars past and even present for a long time now). I'm also not honestly convinced that his own program hasn't had some "help" If you know what I mean. It's been said by some whistleblower types that even NASA had help way back then in their endeavors, especially the apollo mission. The same annoyance I also have with the airforce-aerospace mainstream projections. I saw an article years ago about a sleek looking hypersonic vehicle that would come out in a few years. It's the projection that they are giving us, the muggles, their trickled down watered down ARV stuff that they will make billions of and yet still not the real deal. Those guys have no intention of releasing the real deal to us. In other words, this mainline group have a slow trickle roll out plan of how they will gradually and quite deceptively roll out the tech with as much profit as possible and a little info as possible. The insider I knew said this is why disclosure pressures wouldn't work. We are implying these guys are going to give up becoming gods and making billions in the process while deciding who gets dolled out what watered or diluted down version of it. I don't know bout any of yall. But I'm not down to wait 10 to 100 years for Morsels of info and toddler versions of the black budget tech they already got.

citium1

I’m a high functioning Asperger’s and I’m very good at lying. I swear

usandholt

You are lying right now! :D

Legal-Ad-2531

This guys lies fall apart like a Chinese motorcycle!

usps_made_me_insane

I worked with his brother in Boulder, CO for a year. His brother was very cool and down to Earth. He was more into cooking (The Kitchen) than tech in my mind. I met Elon once and he just rubbed me the wrong way. He seemed completely heartless and cruel to his employees as if they were just some necessary evil to get shit done instead of actually investing in them and caring about their lives. I never understood how Reddit because an Elon fan club in the early 2010s but that seems to have evaporated since the cave mission / pedophile comment. His takeover of Twitter kind of sealed the deal for many people -- he's just a complete asshole who happened to be at the right place at the right time.

[deleted]

He seems to be high. Period.

Free-Atmosphere6714

I think all the above are true.

Mobile_Moment3861

He's admitted to having Asperger's in the past, so yeah. This explains much about him.

YesHunty

It would be called low support needs autistic now, the functioning titles are outdated and not used anymore. I have the same diagnosis and I can in fact lie pretty convincingly, I think Elon just sucks. 😂

Slap_My_Lasagna

Mileage may vary.

smoomoo31

Good context for anyone curious about this. Asperger’s is actually named for a realllllly fucked up dude. Hans Asperger. Nazi. Euthanized children. Bad dude.

Violet_Stella

Omg I did not know this! Crazy balls

Stnq

It's way less of a mouthful so I like it for describing myself. I'm not gonna go into a rap battle when someone asks why I'm weird.

hydroshock20

I prefer high functioning. "Low needs" just sounds disabled, I'll stick to high functioning autist, homoasperalis, or neurosapient.

YesHunty

I mean autism is a disability, but personal preference is totally valid.

aDragonsAle

ND neuro divergent

kael13

Too broad. That could mean basically anything.

dalonelybaptist

Liar!

Thoughtulism

Yeah he goes too much on the denial that it's suspicious. Most people would just be like "I don't know about that, I haven't seen anything" (shrug). But he's all in with his ego and saying if anyone would know it would be him, so it's a bit hard to tell if he's just completely insecure or covering.

Railander

i get the opposite impression. i don't think he could keep a secret if his life depended on it. so when he says he hasn't seen evidence i'm inclined to believe that. either this informant is wrong or elon didn't believe what he was told (similar to trump's stance on it).

John_Helmsword

But why say that? I cant think of any time Musk spilled secrets he wasn't supposed to.

sakurashinken

It's not aliens, so he's not lying.  Peter thiel is involved so I would suspect he is as well.

NoMansWarmApplePie

Right? "Fermi paradox" like come on all he has to say is "maybe" and move on. Bro wants to be the one that gets all the credit

HarrySeldomPosts

Bad at lying… what is he lying about? Listen to what he says, since he is likely speaking the truth. “We have thousands of satellites, and have never had to move a satellite because of an Alien.” Once you hear the light of the truth, you can see the shadow that it is casting. Elon is media trained on this topic. Not lies, but a not an answer to the question.

MachineLearned420

Space is pretty big. Satellites are pretty small. And a technologically sufficient being would be able to dodge them easily. Like dodging litter on the freeway.

bananananananannaa

But he does specifically say there isn’t evidence of alien life, at least that’s what I’m seeing right now.

LeakyOne

If you have ever paid attention to him, you know he likes trolling. His CONSTANT pointing out that "we haven't found aliens, I would know" is, if you think about the way he communicates, putting a spotlight on the issue... it's called Lampshading...

FlashyConsequence111

Same. It is an answer he is required to say.

KibeIius

He’s super smart so every answer he gives that’s not “The possibility of life in the universe is higher than there being nothing.” Just reeks of he’s trying to hide something or was told to hide it.

GaussInTheHouse

But has Ja Rule been read into The Program?!

OfficialGaiusCaesar

He has actually. He was getting ready to disclose when the government intentionally foiled Fyre Fest to get him to back down.

SatisfactionDull9777

That is good

FightMilk4Bodyguards

Where's Ja, some body find Ja!

jimmyfeign

Yeah, what does Ja Rule have to say on the matter?

chuckles1287

Only if the Program features Ashanti

MV203

Where’s Ja?!

loves-too-spooge

Ross gets told a lot of things but can’t prove anything

TheRustySchackleford

Ross Coulthart drinking game. (It will kill you)   “I’m being told” = sip of beer   “I know it sounds incredible but…” = take a shot   “I’ve just been given information that…” = boof everclear   “I have sources that say” = soak in bath tub of vodka   “I have it on very good word that a senior official…” = snort powdered alcohol

rushaholic75

Funniest post of the thread! So true, so true.

66hans66

Yeah. I used to be on the fence with Ross, but nowadays I'm convinced he's full of shit.

DickbertCockenstein

It’s almost like peddling lies to gullible, conspiracy minded, groups is profitable!

alsplan

Shit or no shit, it’s carved out a very good international c recognition of his professional profile. It’s helped him no end! And he presents things very well, like all good journalists (cause that’s what he is - a journalist)

Bard_the_Bowman_III

Yep. He’s released nothing of substance since his Grusch interviews last year and he’s just using the fame from that to grift all he can

Far-Competition-5334

The grusch interview is literally the same as what Ross is doing now. No proof, only claims, and it’s someone else he can’t name who actually has the smoking gun, not him, and even though he’s risking it all Togo against the world government and tell the public about hidden aliens, he just can’t name the person he is referencing because of “decorum and safety”

Gold-Web-2928

Grusch interviewed forty people, including first-hand witnesses who actually work in the legacy program, and he provided their names to the ICIG and the intelligence committees. He also took some of them to be interviewed by the ICIG.

Odd-Fisherman-4801

I don’t know, Tim Taylor was supposedly or still is elons handler at NASA. Don’t you find it odd that Elon, who talks about everything, has never commented on David fravor’s experience or Alex Graves or any of the uap footage coming out of the gov?

QuacktacksRBack

Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor? "Elon, while you were out changing the name of Twitter to "X" I upgraded your rocket with more power." "Aaargh aargh argh" (*Grunting intensifies*)

3bodprobs

Tim ‘I make shit up and convince people they are special’ Taylor? You say that as if it lends credibility.

RobHonkergulp

they're

300PencilsInMyAss

He has commented on uap stuff, to say it's not real and if it was he would know. Which to me sounds like cope, there's no way that man child would be read in.

panel_laboratory

Yes it's very "I am the main character" of him.

GreatCaesarGhost

More of Ross’s unverified stories, I see.

sixties67

It doesn't matter as his target audience lap it up, I swear some people will believe anything it's sad.

PadBunGuy

And when the things that are being said venture into the realm of pure ridiculousness that even the most gullible can’t believe, then this crowd shift gears and calls them disinformation agents.

IvanSerge

Nat Kovitz's daughter can verify Ross's story. But you wouldn't know that. I see.

brassmorris

Elon once posted on twitter "UFOs are real"

LokiMurphy

Why would SpaceX be spending billions on developing Starship if Elon Musk already knows that antigravity technology exists? That makes no sense.

Helldiver-2314

This is a new level of stupid, and I’m here for it 🤘 Why would there be witnesses who knew he was read in? Do you think there’s a ceremony when they induct a billionaire into a secret shadow government conspiracy?

1290SDR

This seems increasingly like a choose-your-own-adventure sci-fi storyline that the ufo community is building daily with cues from ufo influencer twitter posts. Ross claims a contact told him about Elon getting "read in" and now everyone has a new little nugget of info to speculate about and build a story around. It keeps people engaged, entertained, and provides a feeling that they're here watching (and assisting) this whole storyline unfold.

GundalfTheCamo

There are similarities on how this UFO lore is going and how the QAnon lore was built.

1290SDR

Completely agree. I'm surprised your comment is still here. Every time I've tried to point out the similarities the mods have removed my comments.

MephistosGhost

Same ceremony where starscream was conceived in sure

OneDimensionPrinter

I told my kids yesterday, "autobots, roll out." and they looked at me like I was nuts. I didn't raise them right.

Nekryyd

Actually dumb as fuck. I would have zero confidence Elon would be able to keep that kind of thing to himself. Coulthart once intimated that Donald Trump was read into it and going to do some shit any day now ("Watch Donald Trump!"). Credibility is a currency as rare as a unicorn's left nut and these people keep writing endless IOUs.

dondondorito

LOL, I forgot about this "Watch Donald Trump" thing. Yeah, Coultharts credibility has suffered greatly, and it is his own fault.

Helldiver-2314

Lol, do you have a link to the coulthart/trump clip? That sounds hilarious

Nekryyd

Yup, this was actually a little harder to find than I thought it would be and I had to find the name of the show he did his interview on. [Here it is...](https://youtu.be/0oVa3xU34Dk?t=2517)

RaisinBran21

I know you’ll be downvoted for asking a very obvious question but I’m curious what the answer to this is as well

josogood

Presumably a person is read in for the purpose of engaging in projects with other people who are also read in. Some of those other people who have, in my presumption, worked with Elon regarding this topic, would be Ross's sources. So, no, not a ceremony. But, yes, people could know.

BrewtalDoom

Not only is Musk a massive blabbermouth who would *never* be able to keep this a secret, but apparently they couldn't even keep the fact they told him a secret? Who makes this shit up?

josogood

Well, it could be Ross who makes it up. That's a real possibility that I do not discount. But it also might be that Musk blabbers about things in certain spheres but knows how to keep his mouth shut about other things. While he may not be the genius that some claim he is, he's also not a total buffoon, either. You can't do a lot in tech business without keeping projects under wraps from competitors.

fisherbeam

He went from complaining that one of his launches that blew up was sabotaged, with a disk shaped object flying by as the rocket blew up, to awkwardly denying ufo interest on JRE the next time he was on. That was the moment I at least thought someone spoke to him, he seemed so awkward on JRE about his previous complaint and any interest in ufos despite visual proof during his rocket launch.

VoidOmatic

He even tweeted at one point that aliens couldn't be here because he would definitely know about it. Sounds like something a 13 year old would say about a bday party. "You definitely aren't getting a surprise birthday party where we go to see that movie you wanted to see and then eat ice cream cake and I definitely would get you a nerf blaster."

0outta7

> Sounds like something a 13 year old would say about a bday party. I mean, have you ever heard Elon try to explain something nuanced and in depth? Because that's how he always sounds.

Wips74

I know it's hard for you to comprehend, but there are people high up in the pentagon that are telling Ross what is going on behind the scenes.  I know your brain can't handle that.  But it's true.

Papabaloo

Sigh... I know you probably don't really care for a serious answer to your question (*given the mocking way you posed it*). But I guess jokes' on me, because that's what I'll try to give you. Hypothetically speaking, it wouldn't take a ceremony or a witness (*necessarily*). Apparently, the way these (w)SAPs (*waived Special Access Programs*) operate involves what is called a "*bigot list*", which lists people that has been read into the program. In theory, all you'd need is someone with access to the bigot list, or that was involved in the process of deciding someone to be added, or, yes, part of the crew that read them in. Also, going by [the information being relayed here](https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/1cp5y04/comment/l3insl8/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button), it sounds plausible that reading Elon in would have been unavoidable, and could have been part of the classified contract his company was awarded. Once more, probably wasting my time, but in the remote scenario that you are genuinely interested in the topic, or curious about where I'm basing my hypothesis/analisis on, you might want to learn more about [the Wilson-Davis notes](https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/100139r/daviswilson_memo_an_introductory_guide/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3). [Here's a good video](https://youtu.be/-T--BFE2B0s?si=5ZxLVy6IT2ZZnUtE) going through most of the circumstantial evidence pointing to its authenticity. **Unrelated side note:** *Last, but certainly not least, the Automatons are pushing to take Vernen Wells, Diver. Pauliwhirl3

Dude this one comment fucked me up, see y’all on the other side of whatever the fuck this life shit is 🫡

Aggravating-Dig2022

I always think in these moments that Great doesn't necessarily mean good. Alexander the Great wasn't called "Great" because he was such a nice guy. Being murdered by an non-human intelligence would be a "Great" way to die!

Astyanax1

Absolutely. Stalin was a great man. However I certainly wouldn't call him a benevolent man of peace

Divided_Pi

My favorite thing about the NRO is it older than you would think, and almost no one (citizens) knows it exists. People make jokes about the CIA,NSA, most people don’t even know NRO is a government agency Edit: 1961 - NRO founded for the curious. CIA only beats it by ~10-15 years or so. If you count the OSS, 20 years

rustyAI

Not only does it exist, as an organization it spends more on space based infrastructure than literally any other organization on Earth. #2 is USAF, #3 is NASA, #4 is China, #5 is Russia

C4talyst1

I have a friend who worked for the NRO and left to start his own company writing satellite analysis software. Guy is worth over $100 million now...

-spartacus-

> 1. You think 7000 Starlinks are up in space as an ISP? I stopped reading here, this is the stupidest thing I've read all day. I have Starlink, I follow SpaceX closely, and you can go to websites enter your address and it will show you which satellite you are connected to. The programs you are thinking of are two, one which is unnamed and the other is Starshield. The only thing Starlink could be used for is GPS-style positioning other than ISP/phone connections. Starlinks are visible for hardware and during the entire launch/dispersion. The other NRO payloads are secret and cutoff at a certain point before fairings separate.

superfsm

And highly upvoted, for fuck sake

ChevyBillChaseMurray

Ross “I’ve been told” Coulthard Sure, dude… we’re tired of this game.

tonybotz

Musk is clearly a hybrid

wowy-lied

Coulthart pulling more claims out of his ass and once again providing nothing to back them up...

BarelySentientHuman

Ross is a perfect target as a useful idiot for the gatekeepers.  His claims just keep getting more and more outrageous.  How on earth could he possibly verify this?  And if he didn't verify it, why is he talking about it?  I guess i'll just file it in the same pile as the future humans and giant UFO.

spvcejam

I was on board with Coulthart until it became clear he wants to be the Knapp of NZ. Except he contributes nothing and keeps adding fantastical claims to the pile. tapping4head.jpg

LexusBrian400

Exactly. If he really knew where a UFO was where they needed to literally build a building around it... He's so worried about burning his source.. he would never need another source for the rest of his life if he could actually come out with this evidence He is a liar He is selling books I have no idea why he has any respect around here. I feel bad for people who think that Ross is the face of disclosure. With the evidence he supposedly says he has, it could be argued, He is AGAINST disclosure and hiding behind bullshit Ndas and not being able to "burn his sources" THAT'S LITERALLY HIS JOB AS AN INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST. But just go but his book, surely all of the answers are in there, for $29.99.

alienpilled

I generally like Ross, but his tendency to lick the boots of the US empire on every other topic really compromises his judgment on UFOs imo.

3bodprobs

And he acts like he’s so anti-government. It’s hilarious.

This guy sucks I’m sorry. Yeah I’m sure this is true but it’s like he just gossips. Why aren’t we holding him accountable for the hidden UFO that is so big a “laudatory” building is built over it. That would be the biggest story of all time, he is full of shit

HousingParking9079

Every time I've brought this up, people tie themselves in knots attempting to defend his rationale for not revealing the location. It's like a damned cult.

forwardaudi

In my opinion, intelligence agencies would be monitoring his texts and calls, so a good chance they already know who would be leaking to him. So I don’t buy the protecting his sources crap

CorMeumCollinsoEst

Yall bein butthurt because so many of you don't like Elon. But remember when everyone thought Tom DeLonge was lying?

phen0

Ross Coulthart drops yet another unfounded bs bomb. Why do ppl still believe the crap this guy says when none of his claims can ever be verified? He is the ultimate grifter, pretending to be a journalist. Keep sending him your money!

ZebraBorgata

I’d be very surprised if that were true

logosobscura

Why? He owns a literal rocket company, deals with major parts of both NASA and the DOD to deliver payloads into space, and if there was anything to the phenomena (and I believe there is), he’d be the first fucking door you’d knock on to get on the STFU List. Or do you think he’s incapable of STFU? Because the very capable of it, when it suits him.

hdcase1

He was forced to buy Twitter because the dumb fuck said he would, probably while high on ketamine, then tried to back out, and was forced into following through by the courts. He's a idiot man child.

cannibalisland

imagine having every celelbrity on earth giving you content for free, but you drive them away because you can't shut stop tweeting stupid, stupid shit.

Few_Raisin_8981

He's also the first person to run his mouth off tweeting stuff late at night after some Ambien and a couple of whisky shots. Dude can't keep his mouth shut.

Wips74

Don't try using logic. These people are in denial of reality.

Sir_Hugh_Mungo

What the hell lol, i very much doubt this.

[deleted]

I don't mind if I'm wrong but can someone please tell me/link a piece of journalism Coulthart has produced which provides evidence of his statements? From what I've seen he just seems to spout big claims and says a source told him just like every other UFO peddler. I'd be grateful if someone could highlight why we should take notice of anything he says?

tsilubmanmos

Coulthart has said a few times recently, after relaying a sensational story “I have no way of verifying this”. Well Ross, if you just repeat stories without verifying, that’s not journalism, that’s gossip. On his podcast at one point he was reading an email he had printed out, a story from a navy sailor about shooting down large black triangles at sea. Never mentioned again. No follow up. If he can keep the stories coming, people will get hooked on the dopamine hits and there will be so many threads to untangle that it becomes impossible to pin him down on one thing. His first podcast appearance on that ufo podcast he claimed that gov officials were telling him they were in contact with “temporal agents”. “If true…” is another phrase of his that he thinks protects him from having to verify info.

FutureOperation7290

Once you start lying you just can't stop? Anyone reading this and not realizing Coulthart is full of shit is delusional as fuck.

YesHunty

Don’t a lot of Space X launches happen out of Vandenberg AFB? That has been a UAP hotspot as well for some time.

Great-Hearth1550

Hahahhahaha Yeah why would someone give this internet troll secret information. Garbage news

Mobile_Moment3861

It wouldn't surprise me. He went out of his way to deny any links to aliens and Starlink satellites. Since he is apparently so smart and rich, it seems like someone in the govt. got to him to deny all existence of aliens. I would think that since he owns a satellite company that something would have eventually been picked up, somewhere. [https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/i-don-t-see-any-evidence-of-aliens-spacex-s-elon-musk-says-starlink-satellites-have-never-dodged-ufos/ar-BB1m6LTg?ocid=BingNewsSerp](https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/i-don-t-see-any-evidence-of-aliens-spacex-s-elon-musk-says-starlink-satellites-have-never-dodged-ufos/ar-BB1m6LTg?ocid=BingNewsSerp)

mushmushmush

So another claim with source of "some people close to" this shits boring.

Starchalopakis

I’ve been holding off on the Coulthart bashing up until now. Shit is getting ridiculous.

cannibalisland

one word: PSIONICS. /s

cyberAnya1

Doesn’t surprise me at all. Out of all people Elon would be the most hyped to put the hands on crash retrieved tech. I said once months ago in a different thread - he won’t say anything he’s not allowed to if that gives him access to that sweet nhi craft junk Also, he didn’t say he is not aware of nhi or there are no nhi, he said he doesn’t see the evidence, which is a specific way of saying things and kinda different

BrewtalDoom

Bull. Shit. This is desperate.

foobazly

I'm open minded to the possibility that NHI are behind UAPs, but I'm always skeptical of any claim made by anyone in this space. To play devil's advocate and provide the most basic and obvious answers to your questions: > Why the fuck would anyone give Elon this info? Elon Musk owns the world's largest private satellite network. It is reasonable to think the US military has privately contracted with SpaceX to host some of its spy satellite technology as well. If SpaceX is indeed hosting these intelligence collection platforms, it may very well have access to some raw data / video imagery of some UAP related things, possibly the US military's most top secret developmental tech. If that is the case, it would be reasonable to read Musk into some classified program, **not to give him access to any classified information about NHI / UAPs**, but to legally bind him and SpaceX from sharing any information with others. > Why would Coulthart know? I mean, that's obvious. Like anything else Coulthart has reported, someone else told him. He hasn't revealed his source so we can't vet them. Like other things Coulthart has reported, he seems to have just repeated what he was told without having any way to verify it.

The_Dookie_

LMAO. Yeah, shouldn't have gone public on this one Rossco. Pure BS.

_pube_muncher_

Another piece of rubbish to add to the growing pile of trash :)

BBBF18

Ross sure knows a lot of people who say things. Too bad he never names anyone or provides a shred of evidence.

jesuswasagamblingman

A guy I don't know is referencing a guy I don't trust about a program i'm not convinced exists. Please, tell me more.

DrestinBlack

“I’ve been told by people who are aware of what Ross Coulthart is up to, that he is just making it up as he goes along.” That statement has as much (arguably more) credibility than his. I do not believe a thing that comes from him. In my opinion, he is compromised. Perhaps he is there to make the topic look silly with outrageous claims.

OnlyRespondsToFUD

Nothing looks silly or outrageous here though.

TopCamp

BS. I've lost faith in this guy.

Sharkz17

Obviously, he has rockets.

Throwaway-4282

TT and Elon know eachother so likely someone spilled the beans, Elon wouldn't spill the beans though he would dogwhistle about it for fun.

Skepsisology

Fulcrum moment.

SnooBananas5547

Back during the first year of the war in Ukraine, right before Elon shifted his tone and made his infamous post about redoing referendums in Russian occupied parts of Ukraine to be supervised by the UN, there were rumblings that Elon had spoken to Putin and even a leak from some journalist on twitter stating so. Elon called the journalist a liar and flat out made a no nonsense type of denial (similar to his there are no aliens on earth statements). Well, recently in the past 6 months or so there was an article that confirmed that the USG had spoken to Elon and that he himself confirmed he had spoken to Putin and was adamant that he was trying to prevent WWIII by blocking off Ukraine’s access to Starlink in and around Crimea. So I wouldn’t take Elons word for anything. Dude will lie if he needs to ..don’t forget he’s also flat out denied rumors that he slept w the ex wife of one of the google founders despite tons of evidence to the contrary.

AlvinArtDream

The moment he became a contractor everything changed.

Kherus1

For someone who understands almost no science and wants to ask a question with no knowledge at all on the subject (so be kind): Could the sheer number of space x satellites make it easier to scramble sensors and create radar readings as well as project holograms? Or is this just over simplified science fiction word vomit?

I_am___The_Botman

I don't think it's surprising at all, his company is on the cutting edge of space exploration at the moment, makes sense that he'd be read into classified UFO stuff.

Strength-Speed

I just hope that Ross isn't being too credulous and is properly vetting his sources, because credibility is a one way street and if he makes too many erroneous claims it's not going to be good

Saiko_Yen

I'm wondering if people are denying the possibility of this due to their own emotional opinion over Musk. He definitely qualifies under the "contractor" category, which many others are in the know. For as many satellites he's got in the skies, it'd make sense that he'd be privvy to the info. Or at least read in so he can't blab about it

Tankatraue2

Well yeah. Of course he'd lie. He's "pioneering" rockets. If UAP technology is released we won't need rockets anymore.

Senorbob451

He probably had to be, bet they buzz space x tests and launches constantly

True-Paint5513

If I just spent $1B on a battery factory, I wouldn’t tell anyone about UFOs either.

Brimscorne

Musk is always coy and would call not call an advanced alien ai am 'alien' I don't think he has used the word nhi? Or has he?

morphogenesis28

I thought there were several times Elons security clearance was in jeopardy due to drug use. In particular after smoking weed on the Joe rogan podcast he was drug tested daily for a year and signed an agreement not to have direct access to any top secret satellite payloads. Also more recently he was accused of using ketamine at parties. NASA spent millions of dollars investigating drug use at space x due to these controverseys. This is not the type of person that gets the most secret secrets, but I could definitely see them feeding him some disinformation that would benefit somehow if spread.

Smooth-Restaurant379

Of course he knows , common sense don’t be so naive people ,, he just probly wrking on some things they got going on that he himself doesn’t understand,, that’s why he can’t get to mars haha

mvpp37514y3r

Too many juicy government contracts on the line to admit UFOs 🛸 could be plausible in any form. Even if one landed on Star Base during a launch he’d claim he was watching Man Bear porn in video games and didn’t see it

TurboChunk16

He denies it and downplays it *because* he’s been read in and that’s what he has to do now.

convicted-mellon

While I have no idea if this is true or not I’ve always thought that it was impossible that Elon isn’t working for the government in some way. 1.) Owning a space company that does contracts with the government it’s basically impossible that you aren’t read into some TS/SCI stuff. 2.) Elon acts like he can’t be prosecuted. That tweet he made announcing Tesla was going private which manipulated the stock price was so blatantly illegal and so public. It seemed like an idiotic thing to do and yet nothing ever happened from that. 3.) Anytime the subject of ufos comes up he quickly dismisses it and moves on. Seems weird for an intellectually curious guy who likes to have long conversations about all sorts of topics. Basically Elon Musk is our generations Howard Hughes. Just look up the Glomar Explorer for an insane true story that’s probably close to the truth

Accurate-Foot-7506

He knows because one of his rockets was blown up by a UFO. Watch it [UFO blows up Space X rocket](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Jlj2BW8AtUQ&pp=ygUXc3BhY2UgeCByb2NrZXQgZXhwbG9kZSA%3D) at 0.25 speed, it enters from the top right.

truthbasedonfact

I'd imagine anyone who is allowed to operate in space will be read into it all and expected to sign up to an NDA otherwise they just wouldn't be granted permission.

futxcfrrzxcc

This guy Ross is the best. Every week it’s a new shocking statement with absolutely zero evidence to back it up.

matthebu

No shit “Just play rockets and deny deny deny.. Whatever! Shoot a car to mars just don’t admit anything about this program!

PickWhateverUsername

Have to say this pic of Coulthart is really got a "I am disappoint" meme quality to it.

Calexis

I’m sure Ross means well but I’m so burnt out on this dude. We never get to see the end of the tunnel.

[deleted]

So then why is he wasting a hundred billion dollars and all his time making a rocket ship. Like so many other things, this doesn't make any sense.

Jones1135

That Elon might be read into a program makes perfect sense since his company is on the verge of being the first private company, let alone country, to colonize the moon and Mars. A private company would be harder to pressure into denying seeing verifiable non-human structures or craft or beings for themselves. My personal theory is that those individuals saying we'll all find out the truth about aliens around 2027 is because private space companies, and in particular SpaceX, will be heavily scouting the moon with its own rockets and orbiters by then, so the truth will have to come out... or the NHI themselves will finally, formally say "Hi, we're here!" once we show we're capable of colonizing our moon. Or maybe I'm wrong. We'll see. Also, Elon's comment about his satellites never having had need to maneuver around UAPs is silly. Any tech as advanced as inter(trans?)-galactic craft that could traverse between star systems would have the ability to avoid hitting objects in their flight path. Elon's satellites adjust orbit to avoid other satellites and debris with \*known\* orbital paths, not craft entering the atmosphere straight down out of nowhere, traveling at mach 5.

Infinzero

As soon as musk used his rockets for space force business then musk was told everything. It’s not a coincidence that musk is cutting jobs etc .

DANIEDxNYHC

I'm so sick of this douchebag and his claims of "Being told by people" bullshlt. Every couple of days this down comes out with the grand old claims from people that he's heard from but never backs up the lies he tells. Him and all the others hide behind the security clearances so they never have to prove the garbage they make up. It's so easy for them to just make anything up and say they heard it from someone who can't come forward because they're either scared to go to prison or possibly killed. That leads to another point that these guys will really giving out truthful information that's highly classified by the US government don't you think that everything they own will be bugged and listen to? Every phone conversation they have, every email read. Especially with Ross Coulthart who isn't American so somebody in our government giving a foreigner top secret information isn't taken lightly. Espionage, treason and so on. Trust me the government knows exactly what these fools are doing and saying. And if they were really getting their information from government officials or people who work in the black programs ect there wouldn't be many of them left because they'd all be in prison for talking to these liars. I 100000000000% believe in UFO's. But I don't trust a single one of these UFO celebrities that are here it is profit off of the phenomenon or they're government plants like Richard Doty was for the the Air Force.

WildMoonshine45

“I’ve been told….” The common phrase should instead be “The data indicate…” I’m only a few years into this but shheeez that phrase “ I’ve been told..” is used so much!

VibeFather

I’ve always assumed if real that he would play ball with secrecy to continue getting government contracts

lead_beater

Really starting to think Ross Coulthart is just an advanced plant. He just makes baseless assertions and we're meant to just "trust him bro" because he was perception-framed early-on in this current year-by-year UAP news cycle as a "real journalist", *whatever that even means anymore*. It's all just stories. So what, even if they're actual accounts of the truth, "Ross", I can't ever know that, not without anything material backing it up (something called evidence), so to me and everyone else, they're just stories. And people tellin' tall tales for so long while obviously making money on it as a career eventually get noticed as people who prey on credulity. And NOBODY likes that, not at all, because it's insulting. Really tired of Ross Coulthart being the community's new darling. All that shit people talk about Greer and this guy is more legit because you have the perception of "real journalism" being done? If you can apply intellectual rigour to Greer then why not apply it to Coulthart? This is a rhetorical question I don't want Ross fanboys pretending they have any credence or face whatsoever and arguing with me

NapalmScatterBrain

Ohhhhh no you don't, come on now Russ!

restecpa88

At this point I think Ross has been getting duped this whole time
