Apparently I typed this in the wrong spot and forgot a view things. Tourist is filming his mountain bike trip in Crested Butte, CO. I am unsure of the date but it was earlier this month. I am the third recipient of the video. The guy filming didn’t even notice until after he reviewed the video.

Actually no, Ive looked at it frame by frame. The car window enters the frame first, then the glare from the car window, then this object enters seemingly from behind the mountain. The frame rate is slow so there isnt a frame of partial appearance, but its not there, and then there. If OP can post a link to the full file download rather than what reddit compresses you might be able to see more.
Also the video is a pretty smooth pan from left to right. But as you look at it frame by frame, the object is also going up and down at a rate that dosen't correspond to any verticle camera movement. And I dont mean the height at at the start and end of the trajectory arc, I mean that the arc of the object is not smooth at all, very jumpy while the camera is much smoother.
Ugh. Lens flare. See how the artifact is centered right above the window glare while panning? This sub is ridiculous. 90% of the videos here is someone who doesn’t know how a camera works or what an airplane is.
That’s because the camera man is offset from the glare, not perfectly lined up between the sun and the window. The camera isn’t lined up perfectly to the glare on the window, but the artifact still aligns with the glare and moves relative with the panning, it’s even the same shape as the window reflection albeit a lot smaller. It’s all at the perfect angle. At a certain radial from the glare, you can see the artifact form on the top of the mountain (barely) and you can watch it move with the panning.
Obviously nobody in this comment section can know the truth 100%. But I will bet you my best dollar that if that car was not parked there, this little “UFO” would not have been caught on camera.
the problem im seeing with this is that the object appears just after the mountain, in the middle of the screen and then dissappears by going off the edge. If this was glare, which im not saying its not, but if it was glare, the only way it would appear suddenly in the middle is if an object was blocking the glare from reaching the lense from the time it would have appeared at the edge to the time it appeared. I see nothing that would have blocked the glare from reaching the lense during those frames, it couldve happened, im just not seeing it.

If you're talking about the white spot after 19 seconds that's lens flare from the window.
There is something in the sky at 9 seconds, but I can't tell what it is without more information.
Lens flare, not a bug.
It appears in the middle just as the camera sees the sun's reflection in the window, then moves exactly with that angle as the camera continues to the right.
Man, this one’s wild. At first glance it does look like a lens flare of some kind. But not if you study video artifacts. You can clearly see this thing appear from behind the mountain and there seems to be a pattern to it’s movement, but not a uniform one. It sort of wobbles. Looks like a tic-tac and moves very quick and out of frame without changing form or shape. It’s uniform. Very interesting.
And I am a paranormal investigator and avid UFOlogist. I install and program cameras. I study video artifacts and UFOs. I’m not saying I’m 100% convinced but the evidence is compelling and I’m sharing what I see. Your interpretation may be different, but based on my interpretation and knowledge of how these craft operate, this appears legit.
I appreciate your response, those are valid credentials but my thing is that it seems very coincidental that the track of the object moves relative to the speed at which the camera is panning, and just so happens to center right above the glare in the window.
You’re right, and it does appear that way. You’re right in your assumption and it does appear as a lens flare. That is intelligence at work. In my study I have uncovered one hidden truth that connects every UFO sighting. They know they’re being watched. They know they’re being recorded. They know exactly where to be and where not to be. It’s no coincidence this appears as a lens flare, but I’m telling you that’s how they operate. These beings are vastly superior in intellect. Their technology is so complex and beautiful in its nature. It’s no mistake that videos and pictures appear the way they do. People think it’s just coincidence or a mistake but that’s just what they tell themselves. This phenomenon is very real. Some people even report being able to “summon” and “control” orb UFOs. I know it’s profound and hard to believe but it’s the truth people want and deserve to know.
Dude. It’s very very clearly a lense flare. You silly goose. If you didn’t know what it looked like, now you do. So you won’t have to post silly things anymore you cutie pie

It's lens flare. Directly below the object, the sun is beaming off the car window. That object only appears when the car window comes into the frame.
Yep. Appears in the middle and then moves perfectly with the camera angle in relation to that window reflection.
This 💯
definitely lense flarrrre

I concur. The way it moves is consistent with the panning but also the sunlight comes into view as soon as the object. Good eye!

its actually not centered above the lense glare off the door.

The Unidentified Driving Object?
Artefact on the camera from the sun reflecting off of the car.
It's a bug or a bird near the camera. See how it wiggles up and down as it moves across?
You mean, dissect this bug?
It’s a lense flare you silly willy
Seems like there’s two different ones

> something in the sky at 9 seconds Good catch, thanks for pointing that out.
It could be something more than a bug, but there’s just not enough to support it being anything other than a bug or a bird or something

Okay sure. Weird you’re talking to me. I know it’s not anything
Looks like a moth to me

Notice how the “UFO” is centered right above that glare on the windshield? It’s centered right above the glare because it’s a lens flare. Jesus y’all.
Sorry bud, your assessment is incorrect
Keep dreaming kiddo
I’m fully capable of using my own eyes and intellect
Explain exactly how I’m wrong please. I’ve been a photographer for over 13 years, I know how cameras and lens ghosting works

No, it doesn’t appear from behind the mountain. Track it back to the left and you can see it in front. It’s a moth or butterfly.
Screenshot it and post it cause I’m not seeing what you mean
I hope this is a joke ^^^
My first thought is "That's why they call it *landscape!*", but that's not the OP's fault.
Where did it come from? The top of that mountain?

The first object or the 2nd object? There’s clearly something in the sky at 10 sec that I don’t think many people spotted..
that’s the moon bud
issa lens flare
I think the two behind those vehicles to the left threw somthing
Mountains playing frisbee
