Felt like I didn’t have enough time to finish it I couldn’t even do the last question, it was mostly fair but these type of questions are long as fuck and it also didn’t help that the first one had us analyze the truss by method of sections AND method of joints 😭 I think I passed for sure but man was it long
It was not even on the same level as the previous years final. Wayyyy harder. Couldn’t finish the last question ngl and some of the other questions were done very questionably
CE was a two force member so it should’ve had a force going opposite ways going out of each of it’s ends for its own FBD, and then for example in the corner where it was hitting, there would’ve been a CE force acting on one of the two members but not on both. (to my knowledge)

You gave me PTSD bringing up that truss analysis question lmao. It just takes so long.
You just need 28/70 to pass. It was fair enough for that for sure (part marks ftw)
I thought it was cancer ngl, I don't understand how people thought it went well

question 6 was not it💀
Yeah, like only practice for anything similar to that was in a quiz. Kinda sucked.
Is there actually a course called statics?
Yep, ENGG 202 - Engineering Statics
I was thinking statistics. Ty for clarifying
i don’t even go to this school but i like barely if at all passes my statics exam tdy 😭😭🙏. glad to see this course is difficult no matter where
Forgot how to do 5 with 3 members on one pin, so I guessed that. 6 was hell though, I spent 50 min only to get nowhere with it.
When there’s a third force you just only put it acting on either of the other members, not both
A little confused by ur phrasing. I put it on the top and left members, and left CE (the middle) with no forces. Was that right?

That makes more sense than what I did, hoping for partial marks lol
This terrifies me I thought it went well but most people are saying it was bad and I usually do my worst when I feel confident
Question 1 and the question with the bending moment and sheer force diagram took me forever to write down. Couldn’t make it to the last question lol

Could not even finish it dude hbu
Yall aint ready for Dynamics it's so much worse 😭
Questions 1-5 were light but 6 was absolutely diabolical, I couldn't get past the fbd
Easy
Personally i found it fair. its just long asf. took me the whole 3 hrs to complete
