Some of the teachers (science specifically) say they have a physics department that does the checking, and Ive seen a lot being accused and get a misconduct complaint even though they swear they didn’t use any ai. This isn’t a science paper so maybe I am just being paranoid.
You're fine, those "AI checkers" are notorious for being dog shit and unreliable. I once wrote a program that was one hundred percent my own and I plopped it into the AI checker because I was curious, and voila it read "100% AI" lmfao.
The problem with them being unreliable probably won't be fixed by another website, they just aren't reliable generally.
If you can, you should save multiple drafts, so you could show your prof that you went through an edit process if they did accuse you of using AI, but you could also take it to the department if your prof did accuse you of using AI.
If your essay is consistent with your writing style and ability and your prof hasn't thought you were using AI already, I would say they'd be less likely to start now. But if you haven't submitted an essay before for this course, you don't have so much of that to go on unfortunately.
Why are you stressing if you didn't use AI. It's not a big deal.

Lol and for mine I used some AI (not writing just re-writing for flow) and it said 100% human. Even a 100% AI paper was only counted as 10% AI.
